Night 1:

Arrived on an early morning flight from Siem Reap. Ambiance 9.5 – a great little bar. I loved the temple dancing, sweet, little girls.

Selection of girls 8 – they had what I was looking for in little Tar.

Unfortunately no one seemed to speak any English except one guy who helped me translate with the lady I selected. The price we negotiated came out to a few dollars for the massage (I forget - around $5) and $10 for HJ. I would have gone with this, except the lady looked really uncomfortable. She didn't respond when I gave her a friendly wave. This didn't seem like it would be a good time, so I declined and left.

Both of these places have potential if I would have chosen a different girl and/or been more familiar with the town and the language. Call it a learning experience. At least saying "No" is free.

I can relate to this and can give you my view on why I feel this happens sometimes especially when the girl gives you no reactions when u smile or wave. Many of the girls in fish bowls, especially the ones from Vietnam are not there completely of their own free will. Many are tricked into coming there from their villages with the promise of working as a house girl etc. Once they arrive they find themselves owing the organizers of their trip a lot of money and no job. They are then forced and intimidated into the sex trade to pay their debit but they really don't want to be there. These kind of girls speak no English and looks terrified as you look at them or choose them. You can't expect good service from a girl in this position and unfortunately for them, much of Asia has this problem of tricking girls into being sex workers. The best service is always from a willing participant.

The $50 girl you mentioned, well that is the "wish price" for girls in Cambodia and as you were new she tried it on you. Anywhere between $5 to $20 for extras depending on the class of the establishment you got them from and how hot looking she is is the right price.

If you're coming in April, be aware that the Khmer New Year is April 13th, 14th, and 15th. Unless you're coming for that reason, I'd pick another time. Many businesses will be closed, and a lot of the girls will make trips to their provinces.

The asking price in Cyrcee is probably going to be $20 if you are not a regular, but as Localboy said, the correct price to pay is $15. There are some lookers there, and the owner is quite a nice guy, but $27 is just too much to pay in this town for ST IMO.
