Went to a quiet little girly bar and chose a cute buxom girl to drink with. Within minutes we were exchanging tongues (LOL). The mammaSan came and sat with us because the girl didn't speak English. I asked her age. She was 21. I ended up buying the mammasan 2 drinks and the girl, Lek 3. I ended up snogging the mammaSan too and had both of them rubbing my shorts. It was great fun. I agreed a 15 dollar barfine and 50 for the girl for 2 hours. But when we got to my hotel and she showed ID, they said she was only 18 and wouldn't let her in. So I decided not to make a fuss, said goodbye to the girl and walked away. The only thing I really lost was the 15. I had enjoyed the bar.

So I decided to chance a massage place since I did not want to pay another bar fine. Found a place by the night market on the river road - 30 including a half decent massage and a good happy ending. Now on bus to Vietnam.

That's why I have delayed my trip indefinitely since May and most likely will not be going at all.) Don't mention the intolerable humidity and heat which one must endure all day in this part of the world! I bet if you just walk outside for about 5 to 10 minutes and back, you'll be drenched in sweat! Unless you punters are also from this type of tropical climate. It all sounds quite unpleasant an environment to be mongering in. By the way, is there smoking in bars too?

I love the hot steamy climate, it is my idea of heaven and I'm from the north of England. And great food if you stick to local. I had my first encounter in Cambodia, in Siem Reap where I am staying for Angkor. Walking past night market street a young woman with a massage list came running to me. $10 for a massage. So I thought wtf. Into a room with mattress on floor I stripped and she covered me half heartedly with a scrawny towel. The massage wasn't very good but I never expected it to be. I just was happy she didn't injure me or steal my debit card (which happened in Bali to me, they got nothing though). At turn, another girl came in to bargain with me for HR. It started at 50, I started at 15. In the end I got for $25. The 2nd girl left. The first girl took her top off and revealed small breasts. She gave me a standard handjob. Much to my amazement I came easily. So whilst the whole business wasn't very raunchy it did have a happy ending.

Three days in Phnom Penh. One hit and 2 misses. The hit was a lovely girl I met in one of the girly bars on 136 street. Lots of snogging and touching in the bar from the very First Lady drink. And then I bar fined her after 2 lady drinks: 50 dollars plus 10 dollar bar fine. The two misses. But she was crap, and showed no interest. I lost my desire, and left. Don't make stupid decisions when you are tired and a bit drunk.

Oh I have been in Kampot for 4 days. A lovely laidback town with a pleasant river, lots of decaying but interesting buildings, a dozen or more girly bars and a smattering of massage parlours. Passing one grotty looking massage parlour, I got a shout. I went in and looked. Two girls, one thin and probably 40, the other pleasant, plump, mid 30's. 5 dollar massage. The room was incredibly basic, not so much dirty as poor. She spoke little English and as I suspected she immediately began going boom boom. We agreed on 30 $ including 'massage'. I decided on caution and went for ow and no penetration. But to my astonishment she really got into foreplay and we had a delightful hour of very raunchy cuddling She came noisily and intensely which was a delight She put a lot of effort into making me come which I did All in all an excellent session.

This place is on the parallel street to the river near a Portuguese restaurant.

A short travelogue and my view of Phnom Penh and Cambodia July 2023.

In nearly 100 trips over 23 years to Cambodia, I have always felt that friendly welcome from people who took the time to chat for a few minutes. As a tourist, I have "almost" always been treated with respect and I have traveled there because I simply could not let go of such a fantastic country. Of course, I have also had some short times but actually more long times with the same girl as Ol sihxxxx, , whom I met a number of times, e. G. Last time in Shv. . Short times are not something I chase, I want to be able to sit down and feel the respect, the discussion, the attention and the friendship. I see the value in exchanging opinions, history, humor and a good laugh, simply hanging out with new people. So far I have always found that in Cambodia.

This time when I land in the middle of July 2023 after six years of longing. Already in the tuktuk from the airport, can I feel that a bigger change has taken place when all the skyscrapers towered up. My first hotel was the Ohana Palace Hotel and I sat there in the rooftop jacuzzi and listened to that "atmosphere" with joy and expectations. Once I started walking the streets of the well-known blocks, 136,130, 118,110, 5, I see streets that are 99% girlie bars a la Pattaya.

I sit down several times to have a beer and talk to someone. "Buy me lady drink 5 dol, "buy me lady drink 5 dol," "short time 100 dol. " " , is the only talk in all the bars. I explain that I just want to sit down with my beer. Then I get to sit there alone with my beer and feel the girls' now contempt instead of any attention or friendly glances. No one takes the time, no one cares. I'm just a shit Barang and not even worth chatting with as I'm not idiot enough to pay 5 dollar for a fucking lady juice to talk to someone who can't even speak English or accept the Paris prices 100 dollars + 20 dollars barfine for a short time.

This is repeated in bar after bar and I also leave my undrunk beer after beer. I note that I pay 1100 USA dollar to fly 11 hours to sit alone with a beer and feel unwelcome and despised because as a customer I don't pay for chat in a "bar" without first having been able to talk to the girl and see if she knows English and is nice company or know if she joins, "customer".

I am trying to understand this changed attitude towards barangs / (tourists, are the bars only there for various scams e. G. Visas or money laundering, in any case they are not there for the customers, I can probably count the customers on one hand at these 100's of bars the same at 51 an and 104/102.

If then foreigners buy up bars that don't need to make a profit, the tourists don't need to be given any direct service but an experience of cold and raw fucky fucky unserious prices in comparison with the rest of the mongering world. An industry which has changed the attitude of almost all Cambodian girls from friendly to raw money attitude.

This is why the tourists today flee Cambodia instead of returning, all the other tourists I talk to say the same thing, how unfriendly, harsh and impersonal the country has become, never again.

Then you can say that if now the girls are to have a lady drink for 5 dollars, (and keep 2. 5 dol. Themselves), in order to even keep company or talk, they should at least be able to speak English, which hardly a 5 part can. This concept is probably the stupidest thing ever seen in the whole world. Even more stupid in the way that it's actually a matter of pure idiotic explanation and humiliation towards me as a tourist, how much of a donkey do they think I am.

At the same time, the Cambodians say that nowadays it is hard and difficult to get money in Cambodia and there you scratch your head. But then they have to start by making the tourists feel welcome again and putting down the New York prices in the bars.

Nah, I didn't find that good Cambodian welcoming feeling that I've loved for over 20 years. I am still happy about this trip because now I can start traveling in the other direction again without missing Cambodia. Unfortunately. I, like many many others, am so disappointed in Cambodia that for me it no longer feels worth the money to return there. Now it will be, Medellin, Dominica and Rio again.

Maybe I moved in the wrong quarter I moved in the wrong neighborhood. Not at all I lived luxurious interspersed with backpackers on 172, I rode the river boats I greeted Ratana's family in their house in PP so I moved around in all parts of PP, I saw the worst crash at Norodom I got to see for the first time a "moto theft", that is, when guys on motorbikes in broad daylight drove and snatched the mobile phone from a walking tourist who screamed and tried to run just in case.

Another event which, according to him, illuminates the new Cambodia; After 2 days of watery diarrhea I felt compelled to go to the hospital. I had European ERV. Travel insurance a great travel insurance that also applies to illness and accident. The tuktuk takes me to Raffles medical at 51 an (old SOS clinic). Have to wait the next whole day and suddenly they have received the money, goodbye.

At this time I am not at all surprised, once again it turns out that even ordinary working medical staff in the new to me Cambodia have the same raw and cold attitude, full of contempt for tourists. Yes, cash talk, but maybe a little kindness should also be present.

One day when I'm walking on the "riverside walk" away from the riverboats, a girl yells at me. It's a girl who recognizes me from before. She works there as an usher for the boat tours. We get in touch and I chat with her on messenger every day and I regret my experience about the prices for ladydrinks just to be able to talk to someone who doesn't know English alternative to sit alone. Of course she tells me that she now has bad kidneys and has to clean her blood once a week, cost 55 dollars, well I know where that goes. But I just ignore this and I don't forget her last text to me before I cut off our contact. "Why you want lady when you don't spend money".

When I visit a country as a tourist and respect the country / people in all parts, I think it is not an honor to receive contempt in return for no reason.

Yes, there are some lovely glimmers of light, partly because I stayed in a very good hotel, Okay Boutique Hotel str. 19, see picture and partly I saw again a friend from many years. In addition, I enjoyed being able to stretch my legs.

Worst memory. One of the evenings I go to the "Ostro Boka Pot" bar 136/5 opposite Ostro Bistro. I buy myself a beer and immediately a girl comes standing there and rubs herself against me. I explain that I want to sit alone. Then suddenly she becomes loud and narrows her eyes at me and falls a lot angry. I leave the beer and go my way, FyFan that is.

I stayed in street 136 130 118 5 etc and globally I was surprised by the level of the girl, nothing to compare with Pattaya where the girls are quite fatty now.

Also for the SOI 6 comparison I would say yes, it looks like it but soi 6 is opened in afternoon, I didn't see much bar open before night here.

What Finkel said also was the fact that you have to pay drinks for having girl attention, as Soi6 it's true, you will have to pay 4 $ drink to girl before talking, else you will be all alone.

And because there is so few barang here, the girls are really pushy to have some, if you know that you may be able to have good time.

BUT because there is a Big BUT, choose wisely the girl before you enter the bar because there is beautiful girls there but they mostly don't do much efforts.

At the end you finish by paying a drink to a rock, that can't talk english and the mamasan will stay for traduction, asking for drinks too.

So yeah it's quite tricky.

The other thing you need to know is that on entertainement side its quite poor. You enter bar and there is nothing to do (games, pool etc.) I mean no dancer inside, quite empty space with like 4 girls looking at you all the time.

It's really for picking up girls, but if you want to build a minimum of relationship with a girl you will have to dig.

On my first night I've got lucky, I found a nice girl, good english and very gentle, took her for longtime, two shots, night and next morning, she was keen to stay with me during the rest of my trip.

I did refused as I would like to see other horizons.

Yesterday I've got one of the worse experience, I went to ostek136 Found a very cute girl, after two drink I took her for ST, 50 USD.

It was not a ST, short time, it was SPRINT TIME, as soon as we get out bar the girl change mood, we get to the room the girl shower ultra quick and didn't even let me shower myself.

She was rushing everything, and bad surprised, she was young but already get multiple kids, bad acting, everything was fake, didn't enjoy at all.

As soon as we finished she go to clean quick, even before I finish my shower she was ready to go.

Very bad experienced, I should have been more careful about it.

If you guys have any advices on PP mongering like other places to see I taking every informations.

Taxi from airport: they start with 18, then 15 and eventually 12 if you keep looking at the tuktuks. Use grab when you go back to the airport, it will be quite a bit cheaper still.

For using tuktuks in the city, just check grab what the price should be, so you know what you are talking about.

Just a few pointers. I never haggled hard with bargirls and mamasans and always paid 50 for st an 10 or 15 for bar fine. I am sure these can be talked down, if you feel up for it. I never did.
