Hi guys,

About to make my first visit to town, and have been told the sun and moon hotel is good. Anybody know if its guest friendly? (I'd hate to waste my time on a hotel that was not).

I highly recommend it. It's a solid 3. 5-4 star hotel with an excellent rooftop pool. I felt it was important in that climate.

They charge $10 for a girl unless you book double occupancy (which will cost you $10 more per night). If you pull girls more than once a day, booking double makes sense.

The breakfast was decent, but pricey for PP. Right across the street there is a coffee shop. Also kinda pricey, though.

If you want quiet, ask for the internal room. No view, but quiet as it gets.

If I went there again, though, I would splurge for a suite. Just a little more expensive, but looks very nice in the picture.

Thank you for the kind words Illusion. Frankly, I do not think I can ever do a trip here that is longer than a weekend. The sheer paucity of options make a full holiday to this city very difficult.

Sure, one can go to Darling Darling every night and pick a girl. The quality is pretty good there. But the price tag of $100 for ST is eye watering. Not to mention the additional $20 you will spend on drinks. And there is no guarantee the girl will turn out as good in bed as advertised.

Pontoon for poontang is not my idea of fun. I have stated this previously on the LOS forum as well. Going to a disco and staying up till 5 am to pick up a drunk chick does not work for me.

As for the bars on the grid between 136 and 104, you will grow tired after 2 rounds. Only a few have talent that is worth any consideration.

One could cut a side trip to Snooky, but only if you have a reliable performer with you who will not chew your brain when not fucking.

So, once again I will say this. LOS is by far the most favorable mongering destination in Asia, perhaps the world for a variety of reasons. Simply unrivaled.

But the Khmer girls are a refreshing change from the Thai girls, most of whom have long forgotten the art of GFE. Exposure and market advancement does wonders to the service population, NOT.

This was a real quick and short trip. You have managed to cover all types of venues this city has on offer except massage places which even I won't bother again with after my experience in the first trip.

Mixed experiences with girls also made me consider PNH as an option but the prices are something to be really factored in comparison with LOS. They do add up eventually. $1000 for a 3 day trip is fairly expensive in my opinion.

The limited options might make a long stay slightly monotonous and boring. I may have to consider living a nocturnal / vampirish life here and sleep in the daytime if I do ever get bored with LOS, Philippines and Jakarta and end up here for a longer stay. The other option is to club a few days side trip to Sihanoukville and I have been advised by my close buddies to take girl along with from PNH and not risk on finding one there.

But appreciate that you have taken this trip, shared with all. This intel like other posted on board will surely benefit someone who plans to or is visiting in near future.

Formula 1 weekend in Singapore. The whole world seems to be flying in here. What better time to get out of the Little Red Dot.

Day 1 - 14 Sep.

Flew in from Singapore and landed at around 2:30 pm. $30 for VoA. Cleared immigration and collected bags in no time. I paid the fixed fare of $12 for a taxi ride to the hotel. I was booked at Ohana PP Palace Hotel. More details in the hotels thread. Since this was a 3 day trip, I did not bother getting a SIM card, but it's roughly $4 for a week long plan.

Checked in at around 4:00 pm. After a quick shower, I stepped out to take in the sights the city has to offer. Wandered around the grid between 148 and 104, ducking in and out each street. Not much gets going before dusk in this city I guess. A few bars that were open on 136 had scant attendance.

Walked into a random bar on 136 and got a cold beer. As I was the only customer in that bar, the 6 girls in that bar surrounded me. I got a couple of them a drink each and waved the rest away. With this new found privacy (5555) I started fooling around with both girls. One of them was naughtier than the other. So I asked her for barfine and ST. $10 for barfine + $50 for ST. I offered $40 plus a good tip if I was happy. Since business was slow she accepted. Within 5 minutes we were back in room for my first taste of Khmer pussy in years.

A couple of hours later, I let her go, fixed myself a drink and relaxed for a while. I was biding my time for Darling Darling later that evening. By 8. 30 pm I stepped out again for some grub and then got a tuk tuk to Naga World. This being my first ever visit, I was quite impressed with the place. Now it is a far cry from Vegas or Macau but the place held itself nicely. However, I was not here for the slot machines or the blackjack tables. I was here for the chicks. And in that department they do not disappoint. There are chicks hanging out in the lobby, in the coffee shop lounge area and on the gambling floors. After a brief reconnaissance of the place I entered DD. I saw a bevy of beauties lined up against the bar table. At the far end of the room there were another bunch of girls lined up. Judging by the way they were dressed and how they were being directed by the staff, they appeared to be employed by the management for "services" while the ones against the bar table were likely freelancers. Within 15 minutes I was approached by 3 different girls. I decided to play ball with one of the cuties and offered to buy her a drink. As the drink arrived the girl got frisky and started grinding her ass against me. I responded by running my hands all over her lithe body. Then I started talking about services and investments. $100ST. At first I could not believe my ears but since I had RTFF, I was not fazed. I told the girl that money was not a problem but I wanted top notch service if she wanted a good tip. Before the clock struck 11:00 pm I was out from there with girl in tow. Went back to hotel and banged the daylights out of this awesome Khmer girl who took it like a real trooper. Took a break after round 1 and went to town again. But, sadly the experience was quite professional. Not the GFE we have grown to love in other SEA countries. Maybe I picked the pro. By 1. 30 am I let the girl go with $110. She was neither overjoyed not upset.

Time for Pontoon. Another tuk tuk and I was there in 10 minutes. As you enter the main door leading down a passage, to your left is a lounge / dance room that was empty. At the end of the passage was the main dance floor / bar which was packed. Very loud music, smoke hanging in the air and a general sausage fest. Curses! Across from the bar area, is another room that played different music and that was rather empty. I was told that place gets full after 3:00 am. Since it was my first night and my first time at Pontoon I decided to wait and check the place out. And it indeed filled up by quarter past 3 am. But nothing that caught my eye. Now fatigue was beginning to set on me so I decided to call it a night and headed back to the hotel, alone. Slept well.

Day 2 - 15 Sep.

Woke at 10:00 am and headed for breakfast on the rooftop. Nice serene views of the river, but too hot for open air dining. But there was nothing else to do in the city at least till 2 pm so I hung around with a coffee and fired up social media. Totally dead!! Pick any random app and it will draw a blank. So I went back to the room, changed and took a dip in the pool. Killed a couple of hours this way.

As 2:00 pm came around I went back to the room, showered and changed and stepped out again. Found a lovely noodle soup place close to the hotel. Filled up. Walked around. The place was very quiet, almost deserted. I was starting to get anxious about an afternoon session. I did not want to go back to the bar I went to yesterday. And it was really hot to continue walking around this way. So after an hour of wandering, I went back to the hotel and got a nap. Headed out again by 6:00 pm. By now the bars were coming to life and nearly all of them were inviting customers to come in and have a drink. I went from bar to bar ordering only a bottle of water till I found a really cute chick I wanted to take out at Xanadu. This is a mixed bar, so keep your eyes and ears open. I got a couple of drinks for her and her friends (one of who was a LB). But I had a really good time fooling around and playing whatever music I liked. I think close to $30 in drinks alone. $10 for the barfine. $70 for LT. And boy or boy, this one was a fantastic decision. Everything about the girl and the time we spent was memorable. Just one complaint. She is a bit aggressive when it comes to DFK. And while kissing all over the body, she bites!

We headed back to the room by 8:00 pm for a romp. Since she was now my "girlfriend" I took her out to dinner and then took a nice long walk holding hands along the riverside. By 11:00 pm we were at it like rabbits again. After that we went to Pontoon and shook a leg. Stopped by a local stall near GSM for some food at 3:00 am. Returned to the hotel and slept like babies. Woke by noon to a great BBBJ that finished in doggy. At this point I was ready to cut her loose, but she just did not want to leave. I had make some lame excuse to get her going. Paid her $80 including the tip and kissed her goodbye. Went back to sleep.

Day 3 - 16 Sep.

Woke after a couple of hours to the realization that it was already my last day here. I had a flight back the next day at 12 noon. Got some food and again walked around the grid of bars. This time nothing caught my fancy for an afternoon session. Probably because I was so spent from last night.

The day was very quiet again. After 4 pm I got out and ducked in and out of bars for a few hours. Finally made my way to Street 104 and peeped into the bars there. I had read a lot about Rose bar (courtesy Natty) but on my visit, I could see only sad sullen faces inside. No customers.

Stopped at One Zero Four where I spotted a real hot chick. Again splashed cash on drinks for girls and picked the one I wanted. Rinse and repeat from Day 2.

Day 4 - 17 Sep.

In the morning by 9:00 am I let go with $80, packed up, checked out and headed to the airport. I took a tuk tuk back for $7. Flight was on time and as the aircraft pushed back I made a mental note to come back here soon.

SIDE NOTE. I managed to catch the Formula 1 race in the evening. Mighty disappointing for a Ferrari fan, but a race in wet weather can always be tricky. It is incredibly hard to get a photograph of the cars whizzing past, unless you have a real professional camera. And skills.

In summary. PP is great but only for a short time. There is absolutely nothing to do between 12 noon and 6 pm, assuming you have a LT staying over from the previous night at least till noon. If not, then you are staring at a prospect of going without a pussy for nearly 18 Hours on a mongering trip. Sacrilege.

As Illusion has pointed out the place is not exactly cheap anymore. Flights roughly cost $200 round trip from SG. Could be more depending on when you book. Visa costs $30. Good hotels with a river view will cost you $60-$75 a night. Tuk tuks will haggle for $2 on every ride. DD girls won't budge from $100 for ST. They might agree to $150 for LT, but $200 is the norm. Girls in the bars around 136 and 130 will ask $50 for ST and $80 to $100 for LT. But you can negotiate here. $10-$12 barfines. Drinks are not expensive but the tab can easily get out of hand if you are not paying attention. Food is still very cheap IMHO. If you eat only Western food then be prepared to fork out more $$ All in all, a cool $1000-$1500 for a weekend of fun. Not very different from LOS. But the beauty of LOS is that one can have fun for roughly half this amount throughout the day. But the Khmer girls are a refreshing change from the Thai girls, most of whom have long forgotten the art of GFE. Exposure and market advancement does wonders to the service population, NOT.

Hi all, Check out youtube day time action. "You want boom boom?" Hey, I know this gal. Although I did not go with her, I remember her vividly. Actually there are some nice looking girls hanging around Sorya Mall; many of them come over from Pontoon next door or when they finish work at one of the many girlie bars around. They will come up to your table and just kind of sit down. $20 and up is a typical tip, everything included. Depending on the time of day, I should add. Late night hours are best for mongering, but be prepared to negotiate if you are dealing with Pontoon FLs. As for the others, who are available anytime, really, "up to you" seems to be the codeword.

I am worried about news about the renovation of Sorya mall. I hope they leave the food court alone. As I said, there some cuties around, but buyers beware. There some real skanks as well. Trust me, you will see the difference.

Great hotel and no issues bringing girls back. They collect her ID and she picks it up when she leaves. No joiner fee that I recall. The pool on top floor is great with nice view of PP. Find a girl who would look good in a bikini.

There tuk-tuk's outside the hotel and and any driver should know this hotel and street. There is a hotel next door to Hotel OK but they do not allow overnight guests. It's about a 5 minute tuk tuk to most places in the downtown area.

Thank you for reading my FR. I would recommend coming to PNH on one of your VISA runs for approx 2 to 3 days initially. Things are quite different and slow paced. Prices are not cheap for all things comparatively. Besides nothing much to do except bars and if you like to gamble then Naga Casino is also an option to spend time. Food scene ain't as great as LOS. If you like it here in your first trip then can definately revisit for a longer stay.

Thanks. I appreciate your input. Being an expat staying overseas is cool. Then after 3 months in one place, it's nice to see a new place. I don't only travel for the visa run per se. I see it as an opportunity to see a new country and take a break from the norm. Plus I have done my homework on PP for the past two years. I have notes, places of interest all mapped out, and a buddy who lives there. So 1 week will be a nice little beak and a chance to try some Khmer girls.

I popped into Massa one afternoon for a look; there were about 15 girls and I picked 2 cute girls for a massage. USD15 per girl for 30 minutes of massage. The massage was a damp squib. I enquired about 'boom boom' and was quoted USD60 per girl. I was not impressed by the massage hence did not partake.

A big thumbs up for your report. Sounds like you had a great time. Ain't Khmer girls sweet and a lotta fun!

1) 3 way: a novel approach for DD. I have never thought of it. Nice! Were all you DD girls Khmer? I like DD. Its another world there compared to the hostess bars. I think it is a better 5* Hotel FL pick up bar with younger sexier girls than Spasso at the Hyatt in BKK, but CJ's at the Mulia Hotel in Jakarta is the best and Brix at the Hyatt in Singapore has the most beautiful girls.

2) I don't think I ever checked out Intoxica Bar. Oasis was my favorite 136 ST bar back a few years ago when Avin, my super hottie worked there. She moved to Rose bar in 2015, but I lost track of her after that and sadly I didn't see her anywhere in 2017..

Great report, very informative. I have never been to PP before, though I have visited Siem Reap a couple of times. Maybe I should start with a weekend jaunt later this month.

Darling Darling is a $100 for ST? Are the ladies worth it? Only one way to tell. Inspect them yourself. 5555.

I was under the impression that Cambodia is the cheapest of all SEA countries to live in. Seems like that is changing fast.

I will visit PP on my next trip, but my trip to Siem Ream was not that impressive as far as mongering was concerned. I find that the Cambodians have over priced themselves, and are much more sharky than Thai.

Great report and spot on with what PP is about. Have been there many times and agree that it is limited in terms of day time action and night time has only a few options at best. Still for a short time it is fun. Girls are sweet and can please. I agree that Pattaya has a lot more daytime action and easy to navigate around the city. PP hotels can also be a little tricky for taking girls back. What I enjoy about Pattaya is the soi 6 scene, G clubs and the beer bars. Just good fun before hitting the gogos and then clubs. So much to do in Pattaya but PP can also help to break things up, just like AC used to before the Koreans changed it.

Cambodia has and is changing fast. Besides if you are after quality like me you will have to pay a premium irrespective of the country.

Darling darling girls are a mixed bag like everywhere else. A beer (Heineken) is approx 6 USD and couple of drinks trying to check the girls sets one back by 20 to 30 USD. ST being around 100 and other misc exp like travel, food, etc makes it a 150 to 175 USD experience. Definately not cheap for ST.

Naga is a predominant Chinese playground hence you also need to overcome that by spending time and money to find the girl you want.

All said a visit is definately recommended. You never know what might work for you when down there.

August 17 to 23 (6 days).

This was my second visit to Phnom Penh after a gap of two years. My earlier trip had been decent and hence decided to revisit. I also needed some variety from AC and Pattaya. This trip I had planned for stay of 2 days in Phnom Penh (Ohana, Residence room, approx. 60 SGD per night including breakfast) 2 days at Sihanoukville (Serendipity Resort, approx. 50 SGD per night) and 2 days back in Phnom Penh (Quay Hotel, approx. 90 SGD per night). I had stayed at Amanjaya Pancam last trip and it was luxurious, wanted to explore some of the other options hence did not commit to a single hotel for the entire stay this trip.

I wasn't expecting too many changes compared to my earlier visit and I was right. Rather than delving into day wise itinerary I thought it would be apt to summarize my experiences briefly as most of the information is already shared in recent FRs and I don't have anything special or extra to add.

Hostess Bars:

The bars get going after 5/6 pm but I saw the streets come alive only after 8/9 pm.

Street 104: Bar 104 remains the best bar on this street in terms of atmosphere and attitude of girls. Quality is decent if you are used to Khmer faces. The bill can quickly get out of control if you don't contain your emotions. The girls can drink very fast and there is no defined time between drinks. All said the fun element is highest in this bar. ST was 50 + 10 BF. Didn't ask or negotiate for LT but it would have been between 70 to 80 I presume.

Some other bars such as Top 10, Airforce, Bunny, Oscar etc were just worth a peek in, not more than 3 or 5 girls inside. Issue was many of these were very young girls. It is probable that they might not barfine hence wise to ask upfront before investing too much into drinks. The worst experience was Rose bar. I felt that this bar has been hyped a lot in previous FRs or maybe I was here on a wrong day wrong time. Nonetheless I will not bother if I visit again. Girls seem to appear drugged and lazy, atmosphere was gloomy, slow service and no energy in the bar not to mention the cost of drinks compared to other bars on the street. Not worth my time and money.

Street 130 and 136:

Bars on these street are better in terms of quantity and quality of girls, sharkiness element for drinks is considerably higher. I visited a few, avoided candy for any encounter with LB. Surprisingly two more bars I entered Tiger and Xanadu also had LBs mixed in the crowd. This is not a good trend if it's evolving. I prefer clear segregation. This streets are where I would spend most of my time if I wanted to go bar hopping.

Other bylanes and street:

All bylanes connecting the main streets house bars which are worth a peek if you like someone. Most of the times its in and out buying just a bottle of water. I do not have any specific recommendations like Angry birds or honeypot or Loco, etc. I think you should get into a bar wherever you find any girl to your liking and walk away if you don't like rather than sticking to specific names which you would have read or heard.

Clubs:

Darling Darling:

This still remains one of the premium pick up clubs. Choices were good but preference to Chinese men is notable as some girls would like to restrict themselves and will quote non negotiable high price in case you engage. I picked up two ST gals from here, decent experience, nothing outstanding. Quotes for ST started at 150 USD but girls generally agreed at 100 USD. Service was templeted. Girls will hit the shower as soon as you get back, finish the job and go away, similar to LOS. I did repeat one girl for LT which was 200 USD and overheads were approx. 50, I. E. Food, drinks, tip, etc. By the time we finished the first pop it was already 1 am and most of the regular clubs close early so we could not go anywhere out. Going to pontoon with her would have been like taking sand to the beach which I consciously avoided. This experience was an exception and decent encounter for me but albeit expensive considering I was heading for a 9 day stay in Pattaya from here.

I took a look around the Casino floor, there were few girls available at the bar near the performance stage but nothing worth engaging with. This seems to be a pit stop for all working girls on the Casino floor and Darling Darling. Difficult to not get attracted to hot casino staff walking around. DD also has some good looking girls working for the bar but they don't converse much except for the bill you have to pay for the drinks. Always are in rush considering the crowd in the bar.

Pontoon:

It seems this is the only late night pick up club in town. I did see one or two Daring Darling girls turn up here but these ones I didn't want earlier either. It would not be fair to compare this club to Insomnia in pattaya as the quality and no of girls is significantly less comparatively. There aren't more options in this city hence I was here most of the nights. Some of the good ones start at 100 USD and I had one who walked away when I tried to negotiate. Other girls do agree on 70 or 50 depending upon the time of the night / early morning. Club stays open till early mornings but it gets boring after 3 or 4 am when the crowds thin out hence if you haven't found someone by this time you should call it a night. I repeated a girl from here and she was good experience.

There are some other clubs namely Epic, Club Cambodia, Royal, etc but I did not bother as these would be mostly local clubs and not worth the time and energy as I was alone.

Daytime Action (1 pm till 7 pm):

This continued to be a problem for me. The LT girl was out by 12 or 1 am and there was nothing to do till the bars got going in the evening. I had visited all key massage places earlier trip and did not want to repeat considering the cost and infrastructure at these places. Wechat girls start responding in the evening and it's not as quick and efficient as LOS. I had visited LeCyrcee last trip and wasn't keen on visiting again neither Shanghai. Golden Sorya mall is best avoided, nothing but dregs there. Unless you are really lucky and have time to kill, not worth.

I never made it to Sihanoukville as it was raining every day and I was advised that the roads would not be good and drive dangerous.

Prices are creeping up in Phnom Penh. Girls are asking more, drinks are more, tuck tuck guys want 2 USD for every ride. Food is not exactly cheap.

I like the afternoon G clubs, Soi 6 or Soi full love inn kind of scene which does not exist here. Besides going to Aeon mall you are stuck in the room in the afternoons due to heat or rain outside. Criminal waste of time when on a short trip. Night time club options are also limited. So is quality and quantity.

Phnom Penh continues to remain an option for short visit whenever I want break from Philippines or Thailand but will not substitute them for a long stay. Comparatively Jakarta has better looking girls, good infrastructure in terms of sauna Joints and Clubs but is closed environment hence not comparable.
