I realize I should post this in the Sihanoukville forum but its dead over there. Last post was April 2023. Here's my question:

I've been preparing for an upcoming PP trip by making contacts on asiandating (waste of time), TF (waste of time) and FB (lots of success). On FB, I see there are many girls that list their location as Sihanoukville. Is there an active hobby scene there? If yes, is it worth taking a bus for a two day trip?

P.S- I'm aware how the Chinese totally fucked up that once beautiful village.

Wow. Same Same but Different Bar had closed down for a long time. I'm guessing it reopened maybe with new owners and a similar name? I'll PM you instead of boring the other posters here.

This is a real long shot. Does anyone know the whereabouts of ANY girl who used to work at Same Same but Different bar on Street 110? I know it's been shut down for years. They all knew me well and I am looking to reconnect with one girl in particular.

It's just a bar, like the rest. I've never seen anything worth walking in as I've passed it dozens of times. The pics on my FB feed look good though.

Some are. Depends on the girl. Many of the girls do not want to do overnight. Some has kids they have to take care of. One has a husband (who doesn't know; he thinks she's a waitress who makes amazing tips, I guess). Many of them do not want to be dead tired the next day.

That being said, probably most are available if you offer them enough money.

Cyrcee has never been a place for many lookers but there have been some real gems there if you went often.

There were some stunners there when I first went there around 2003.

An Na is decent. Ap Pul's cousin is probably the best one. She's relatively new; she started several years ago. But I never barfined her because she's a No. No lesbian show, no this, no that. It's because she's the most popular one, and she doesn't need the business.

Most of the time it's pretty obvious which is the best girl. Then feel the stare of every other girl in the place hoping you change your mind and select them instead.

Why not select both of them? LOL!

I always paid the Cyrcee girls $50 which is more than they had asked.

Me too. But we both might have to increase our prices. From last year, it seems the girls were asking for $50. I think most/all will accept $40, especially if you take them upstairs or nearby. They prefer the Japanese or Chinese that will drop $100.

I have taken Cyrcee girls overnight but this was pre-COVID.

overall quality has gone down. But I agree: if you just want a quickie, it doesn't get more convenient. If you get scrummed when you sit down (not sure this even happens any more -- not so many girls), my approach is just buy a drink for any one of them. She'll sit with you and the others will back off, so you can take your time and pick one at leisure.

Cyrcee is still going strong. You can see a review I did just over a year ago in Oct 2022 , my first return visit post Covid open up, plus I did drop in in March this year as well. Appears I was too lazy to review my adventures from earlier this year.

Thanks yes that was the most recent report I saw. I always paid the Cyrcee girls $50 which is more than they had asked. Reason being is I have never been rushed by a Cyrcee girl always staying longer than the alotted time or went out to eat dinner with me after.

Hey Betong. If you refer back to my report #8164 on 28 October 2022 you will see that there is still an on site room available upstairs AND the swarming and hands everywhere routine is still par for the course when you first enter if the bar isn't busy with other customers.

It's good to know in this ever changing world some things are still the same huh!

So to summarise. Pretty much nothing has changed in regards to opening hours and bar set up, amount of girls in the bar, the motives of the girls in the bar. Still in my opinion the best 'point and shoot (a load)' bar in Phnom Penh.

I guess one thing that has changed is the price, with the average going short time rate essentially $50 - you might be able to bargain harder for a little cheaper, I didn't bother. But I acknowledge the rates have certainly gone up from the $30-$40 you could easily negotiate back in 2019/2020.

Looking forward to my return, likely for Khmer New Year in April 2024 !

I'll be in PP next week and am planning to check out Cyrcee. I'll report back.

It will be my first time in PP; any advice for Cyrcee?
