After biz dinner, strolled over to Sharky first. I have a friend who claims to be the owner back home, figured he is a small shareholder. Wrong. He is the boss man. The bar maid and waitress at first didn't believe I knew him so dialed him stateside, then got VIP treatment. Place was busy, lots, of FL, maybe 1-2 decent, mostly 5/10. They have started a pool competition 2-3 days a week. Waitresses young, cute and friendly. Maybe because I know their boss. A 5/10 Vietnam FL started stroking me everywhere but after a couple of beers, said goodbye to try the famous Cyrcee...

Great to hear you had a good time and paid a normal price. Traveller it's no difference in Thailand the girls love the Asian customer, because Asians they are the ones with deep pockets who are driving up prices to the same as back home for P4P. You never seen them years ago at K11 where you got a $5 ST with some hot Vietnamese girls. Damn NGO spoiled that it was a sad day in Cambodian history. NGOs are fine to help people in need, but don't think they should interfere in a countries culture or religion. Come Jesus with save you and we'll feed you. Another topic.

Thinking about relocating to Central or South America, maybe even Africa, but in Africa I find you don't have as much selection. Where in the Americas you can have anything from a Blonde blue eyed to a African American girl lots of variety I like. Getting a tired of LBFMs like the Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese and Chinese more now. After having hundreds of the LBFMs they all start to be the same.

Mind you the Americas are a lot more dangerous in my opinion, could be wrong. But places like Paraguay, Columbia, Nicaragua and Venezuela offer up a wide variety. Also they're mostly cheaper than even Cambodia or on par. Just my opinion for what that's worth.

Sharky, I go for a night of partying a lot of tourist having a good time, good atmosphere, can't remember the last time taking a girl out of there and been going there for over 10 years, got a good steak by the way Australian beef and cheap price. I have even stopped in for a bite before a night of drinking.

In closing glad your starting to see the good side of town; I like that Cambodia isn't too westernized like Thailand. Lastly best hamburgers in town Mike's burgers on Rissian Blvd. North side just east of Mao Sae Tung; owner is a Cambodian American imports his beef from the USA.

That used to happen to me until I figured out how to fix the problem. The way you are logged in is time limited. And if you are a slow writer like me, you can time out while writing a report.

Rule 1. If you wrote a long post, copy it before sending it.

Surprise. Opened the front door, swarmed by a dozen young ones, thinking I was either Japanese or Singaporean. Ordered a beer, told the girls to sit while I chatted with the owner Hasan. Very personable french expat, owned the bar for last 10 yrs. He enlightened me re St 51 (his words: shit, drugs and thieves) , then St 104 and of course his place. Bought drinks for two young bar maids. Sprite mixed with warm Angkor beer. LOL.

While chatting, several Japanese patrons came in, went upstairs to a private room and the girls followed. Hasan says 25-30% of his clients are Asian. They like to get a bottle, drink and quietly party before shagging across the street. He obviously likes them, they spend money and aren't troublemakers. Few minutes later 6 girls come down and I spot a young spinner, less than 5 ft. 39 kg, super nice rack. Beauty in the eyes of beholder. 7-8/10. Bought her drink, small talk, then off to the races across the street. Had good time, nice BBBJ, multiple positions, no rushing. Hey guys, settle down. I'm been doing this longer than most of you. No I am no longer young and hansum. And I'm not looking for 8/10 or more. But I don't want to screw just anything and what I saw on st 51 was downright nasty, except for shanghai.

I took a stroll through 104 late this afternoon, around 5 pm. Happened to be in the area after a biz meeting. Even dropped in to the 24/7 nay nay bar and had a quick beer. No disrespect to those who have patronized this place but got to be honest. Didn't see anything to take upstairs, even for B$300. POV.

So that's my second impression. I will try Cyrcee if time permits tonight. BTW, driving south along river, saw what appeared to be a MP with large parking lot. Called Lucky Eight? .

Well there's your problem you'll only find desperate ya-ba freaks at 5 pm. Try 9 or 10 pm when things get going, the girls are at home making dinner when your looking for something like at least a 6/10.

It's available in many places. You could probably even say most of the world, though the quality is about what you would imagine.

Did you think the 55% of the men in the world who live on less than $2 a day were totally excluded from paid sex?

You usually have to be local or have a good amount of knowledge to find it, but not always. Especially with the advent of the internet.

In Managua, Nicaragua for example you'll pay $7 for short time on premises in a massive bar / brothel that you can find on your first 10 minutes in town.

Similar rates can be found in the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Haiti, Bangladesh and other countries with just a bit of searching.

Of course the open places on known tourist routes are going to be a lot more!

You can't find a shag in BKK for 300 Baht with a nice looking girl.

If you want P4P at a good price you need to shop around Pontoon or Street 104 you can fined the odd 7-9/10 in the crowed and it will cost you 1500 Baht LT tops don't pay more. The girl might walk away, but she'll be back.

Didn't know 300 p4p available anywhere in the world anymore.

And I did say first impressions, not final conclusions!

First time here, colleague booked nice hotel coincidentally near St 51 so after dinner took a tuk tuk with him for visit. He is BKK local and second ever visit him. OMG, what a dive. Can't believe anyone would visit this street. We walked up / down, dropped in at few places for a 'look'. Too early for Heart of Darkness (9 pm opening) but the 'best' place appeared to be Shanghai. Girls had number badges. Had a beer at two bars, polity declined the back massage from a 3/10 at best.

Tonight, might check out NayNay bar and LeCyree. So far not impressed. The BKK BG girls look like models compared to what I have seen so far, can't wait to return this weekend to LOS. POV

Yawn! I heard these remarks a million times so far, and always from fat old ugly bald farangs / Barangs / Laowais who are very far from looking like Brad Pitt!

Yeah, Shanghai has probably the best girls in 51, as long as they're ok to go out with customers as that's not always the case.

Str 104 comes next, as for the real stunners there are not many as you've noticed, mainly Nagaworld and a few expensive KTVs for Khmers and Koreans where western tourists and expats aren't welcome unless they're introduced by a local.

Enjoy PP for what it is, this aint BKK or Phuket or Hongkong but the prices are still relatively cheap in comparison and the vibe is more down to heart.

You'll see better girls in Vietnam but it can cost you an arm and a leg over there, the Viet in PP are hit or miss and a lot rougher than in Saigon but there are some farm fresh Viets in Sihanoukville.

Hey Traveler, don't give up on Phnom Penh. The place kind of grows on you if you give it a chance. You should try some of the 104 St bars like Zanzibar, Colonial, and Rose Bar. Khmer girls are really delightful.

Family friend picking me for dinner and I have calls to make after dinner. Hopefully will have some time on Wednesday, my last night in town. My earlier post was merely first impression, and we all know need to work a little harder.

I think that ThePrinz is being a bit tough on the Khmers, many of their circumstances are desperate. Inflation is rampant in Cambodia and money does not go far for the poor. Lately I have met many girls without babies, which is good. If one does have a baby in the Bush then milk powder costs about $11 a can and they need two a month. School costs a minimum 500 baht a day for year one and goes upsharply after that.

If a girl doesn't have a moto then transportation adds up, a lot of girls don't live locally. Using a moto to and from work can easily add up to more than sixty dollars a month- theres the wage gone. Health care is not cheap in the Bush and khmers are often sick, especially with stomach problems. A visit to a quack in the Bush costs ten to twenty dollars, having a baby at the rural clinic can be up to a hundred dollars.

And the girls have to look goid to attract customers so clothes, hair and nails all cost money.

But the biggest obligation is the family and that will nevef change in a poor society.
