I did not book ahead, but that is another story. Booked Cyclo hotel ahead as flight from BKK arrival at 5:30 PM and I don't like to walk around when first option is fully booked. Asked for low floor, and at arrival got a top floor room. Not too bad with large balcony, but no proper window shutters and stairs there are a nightmare. 8 stairs of which last 2 were of a fire exit size. French owner was not impressed by my comments, so I checked out the other day and went to California 2. But when I got out of the tuk tuk I saw this brand new hotel in the former Mekhong Express building. Stayed even longer in PP than planned as it was a very pleasant stay.

Previously it was the Circuit Hotel in street 154, now taken over by neighbour Nana Hotel. Last time in January I stayed in the new Pillar Hotel corner of steet 102 and Sisowaht. Great hotel, balcony, spacious rooms and great cooked breakfast included for $35 a night. And absolutely GF, even if you take more than one girl to your room. Never a problem.

Previously it was the Circuit Hotel in street 154, now taken over by neighbour Nana Hotel. Last time in January I stayed in the new Pillar Hotel corner of steet 102 and Sisowaht. Just finished my 5 days stay at phnom penh! And really enjoyed it so much! As I was writing earlier I had the choice out of a few hotels described here, and finally stayed at the queenwood hotel, ofcourse very guest friendly! Rooms were great, even had a bath tub, which I always prefer! Staff are very friendly as well and felt really secure about this place! Girls have to leave I'd at reception and also in this hotel they call you when she's leaving! A very big plus is that the hotel has a swimmingpool on the 8 Th floor, not that big but really refreshing!

Had a hotdog there and was really good and tasty! Anyway, thank you all so much for the advices I have read her before going to phnom penh! I will be there again soon! If anyone has any practical info on sien reap or sihanoukville, most welcome! Are there same kind of bars? Same kind of discos? And hotels?

Oh yeah, went to check out martinis, but it was on a Sunday, so it was pretty quite, for refr I paid 8000 riel for the tuk tuk! Went to pontoon as well and always got lucky there! 25 for LT! I was surprised that the mixed drinks were really good there, I always had the drink that I ordered, good quantity of Jack! Not the same as in walk about where it was more expensive and less! In walk about they charge you the jack and the coke separately!

Hotel looks OK to me but I always had the impression that the rooms a quite crampy with 12 m2. I need my space, do not go asleep that late. Like to see city wakes up early morning and do some work in my room every day, so a 20 m2 room with a desk at least for me.

One place I use to stay, it's under new management now, so not sure on the facts, but it was $15 a night, big room with a desk, has a lift. 8 floors, Casio, fish bowel, room service, washroom has a bathtub (something I like) not just a shower and pool hall. It's on Kampuchea Krom Street. About 500m west of The Central Market (Phasa Thmei ).

Down fall it's a little ways from the action, but has or had in house action with a few cuties. You'll need to take a moto dop to go most places, unless you don't mind long walks.

I haven't stayed there in a couple years so a lot may have changed, if anyone has an update on the place feel free to help out.

From what I understand, in the past BJ on the spot was not unheard of. Maybe someone can correct me, but I don't think the upstairs is operational either.

On the occasions that I visited, I was flanked by girls as soon as I entered. The line up is pretty good but I found better value at Golden Sorya Mall.

Yes sir, BJ on the spot use to be available and CIM service was too. If I remember correct Cyrcee was one on the places that provided that service. Been a while, there are places today that offer almost a similar service, but not as open as it once was. No great lost my last time in Pattaya at I Love NY I was sitting having a drink with a lady and happened to look to my right where a pig was standing getting a BBBJ in a GoGo Bar, that wasn't something I really wanted to see. Even better after the pig started screwing the girl on the coach right beside me, that was a first for me in a Go GO bar. I could see it happening in some more not so crowded, less up scale bars, but a Go Go Bar, that had some real nice lookin girls and some real dirty ones too. The guys, there were two of them only ordered one coke each and were grabbing girls that walked past and they were targeting the drunk girls too. I think in their own country drinking and even being with a women is illegal.

Anyway back to PP word to the wise stay out of massage parlors that offer HJ, it could really ruin your holidays. Can't say more just that I have lived here for many years and you get to know a lot of people over the years and those places are no good.

Oh, I did tell the owner of the Go Go bar I wasn't too impressed with his place, in no uncertain terms.

I read a few posts on this place, but I guess I went there on the wrong time! I thought I read here somewhere that it was a kinky place where there were BJ on the spot! But I experienced this place as a normal bar with some pretty girls! Anyway, maybe there are two bars witness the same name? Or should I go upstAirs to be in the action?

Are there any other bars where you can experience some playing before bar fining them?

This hotel has always proven to be very guest friendly and I suggest it to anyone who wants to stay on Street 136. Yes, you can access the lift without the need to walk past reception, but the garage on the ground floor where you can access the lift becomes inaccessible early evening when they close the garage door. Best of all they phone your room and confirm if your new friend can leave.

Also worth mentioning is that on the day I checked in, I witnessed a gentleman in the room across from me having a argument with what I presume a street walker. He was accusing her of stealing money from his pants in the room. This reminded me not to let your guard down and to always take precautions.

Would I stay here next time? Yeah, probably. I always book by email and secure a better room for the same price as their basic room. For short stays aim for $30 a night without breakfast.

Stay away from the pink light places on this road. They are working together and will rip you off. Paid 30 for massage and then no massage and no anything. 5 minutes later I'm out the door with no money. These are the old 63 places.

1) in the past, only 2 brothels (as far I m remember) on street 63 use to robbed BARANG, the viet brothels never take the risk to robbed a Cambodian guy excepted if they want pineapple bomb in their brothel. Aound 2006 with the massive arrival of barang and the closure of the "serious" brothels, snatching barang became the rule

2) If like me you like Cambodian brothels style, just bring no more money than you are ready to loose, it used to be write by many ISG members in the past (check the archives)

3) Such kind of info is always usefull for brothels mongers, so thank you for your warning message.

Never had "BJ on the spot" at this place. But some fairly hot foreplay.
