I have spent enough time in Asia to understand fully how the scene works but am pointing out how World Vision are saying things that we should all be aware of. It is these sort of statements that make it more and more difficult to justify trips to Cambodia!!

Do you mean because you/others may be inadvertently supporting the bad stuff? Or that Cambodia and PP aren't worth visiting if the mongering scene is too dubious/risky? Maybe I'm still wrong?.

Yes, it is a shame what is happening in PP! It is a shadow of what is was in just as recent as 2003. Too many tourists, overpaying & posting on the net. As far as the WebSite 4 WOTW, it contributes to the decline, but those vids at Mikado were shot & posted long ago...most of those gals in the vids are long gone. After a quick chat with the guy who was robbed it seems that the situation was a little more concerning.....

while there have been some high-profile cases in recent years (gary glitter being the uk's particular shame), i refuse to believe that your average, respectful tourist/monger is going to accidentally collide with the depraved & indefensible end of the **** sex industry. just stick to the popular monger/massage haunts and stay away from the concealed, strangely high-security & high-priced ones! if you're still not sure, ask to see her id before you take her anywhere. you can still change your mind if you're not convinced. it's not rocket science.

it should be obvious anyway, but the nasty paedo/secretive end of the market also charge a lot more for the service, so always stick to girls who are the normal rate!

Walkabout Hotel is on the corner of street 174 and street 51. If you walk up street 174 for one block you come to Street 63. If you turn left on street 63 and walk one block you come to street 178. If you continue walking for a half block (on the left hand side) you come to a small alley (or drive way, which is about 15 feet wide). I have tried to avoid the Flamingos motodup drivers as they always want 3x the standard rate and we always part with neither of us being totally happy. I recently posted the number of a motodup rider, Someth (092285158), together with his business card and will vouch for him 100%. He, and his friend Jenda (092633627) both base themselves at Howies on an Evening which is a short enough walk from Flamingos to use them regularly. Consider giving them the business and being safe. As before, mention my name and I may get a free trip on my next visit.

This appeared on the back page of the latest After Dark magazine. I am told that it has a very subtle mesage referring to the bars of a jail but I needed that explaining to me as I really thought it was, at least in part, referring to the Bars that had advertised in the magazine I was holding.

I am not the only person to misinterpret the message and I am told that a small delegation of bar owners told the Editors that they should desist from such messages if they wanted their continued custom.

The text relies on the picture to convey it's message and if the text is published in isolation it will become increasingly difficult to justify a mongering trip to Cambodia.

The other World Vision ads I have seen conveyed a mesage from the picture and were quite obvious, but this one frightens me more than a little bit.
