Thanks Saint Jack - those posts have helpful info for visitors to PP. Do you know if the kamagra and zeagra are standardly available without Rx in Cambodia, or is that an under the table deal?

As far as I know of or from my past experience, buying medicines in Cambodia never requires a prescription (in practice), though the law may regulate it? ( or not I don't know)

It's not like Thailand where there is enforced regulation on these medicine control thus you have to aquire it under the table, but in Cambodia pharmacies are openly selling it.

As mentioned by several forum members, I found the So Cheat pharmacy loacted close to Central Market and the Sorya shopping center.

Latest price quoted for Kamagra was 2 USD / pack of 4 tablets and Zeagra 1.8 USD / pack.

Upon enquiring on bulk of 10 each, Kamagra dropped to 1.8 USD / pack and Zeagra 1.5 USD / pack.

Other pharmacies nearby quoted something like 2.5 - 3 USD.

PP is probably one of the cheapest place to get these pills IMHO.

I spent this last weekend in PP staying at Flamingo Hotel.

There is an ANZ Royal Bank ATM in hotel lobby, the hotel staff said it can dispense in both Riel & USD. Should be convenient to hotel customers.

On my arrival, I had my transportation thus did not use hotel's free pick-up service, I thought that this complimentary one way transfer is in either direction but found out that it is not the case.

When I checked out to go to airport, I was asked to pay for 7 USD transportation fee. Tried to argue that it supposed to be in eother way but the hotel staff insisted that it is free for only airport pick-up but not vice versa.

Nearby the hotel, there is a mini mart next to Shanghai bar supplying daily necessities and some snacks. But if more variety is sought then best bet is to go for the Sorya shopping center which is 5 minutes walking distance from the Flamingo.

The Lucky super market on ground floor of Sorya is big and probably has best stock of all imported food stuffs and daily necessities. I found price to be reasonable and the goods originated from various countries like China, Korea, Thailand, France, Germany, etc.

Food court on 4th floor of Sorya is not bad as well, it is the same type as those you would find in other Southeast Asian countries where you buy coupons and browse through 30-40 or so shops to buy and brong your food to look for table to dine yourself. It is a place where reasonably priced food can be found in better hygiene and in A/C area if you are tired with street side vendors or food in the market.

Very sad news guys, the lovely Srey Lisa from Barbados just passed away very suddenly 8 days ago from dengue fever.

She was one of my regular and I just had spent a very nice afternoon 2 days before she died. She was a nice fine girl, I just wanted to pay her a little tribute her, she really deserves it. Another shattered life in Cambodia...

I never thought at that age she died suddenly.

Nothings changed, although I am a regular the last few years. Brought a friend and got the usual sampling and offer for the back room. took her in worked the poll a bit more and then nailed her.

The girls are a mixed bag.

Cyrcee, took a set that bragged about the lesbian show they did , the one had a nasty white discharge and luckily for the other girl she just faked it by puttinjg her finger there and making load ass licking sounds which drew my attention to the scam.

Been great but after this I may or may not be back. Was told at the end my friend was waiting and was going to leave, so hurry and catch him, I was almost done and popped and got out. He was just relaxing and explained he had said no such thing. In fact still had a nearly full beer.

hi fellow mongers (and ngos)

trip after trip, i find pp a harder and harder place to monger. yes, there are the martinis (overpriced and mechanical service) and the in-room massages ($40 for fs, cbj), the few vietnamese brothels (100% chanced of getting your stuff stolen), occasional street walkers (drug users and smelly under-ams), the bbbj bars (russian roulette, a recipe for burning urinairy track). closing k11 was probably right, but we (mongers and probably ngos) know where to find exactly the same girls. it just moves to another place. a big waste of time and the wrong methods, of the goal is to address ****philia and drug abuse.

i support keeping children safe and avoid drug rampage, but what is going on with trying to stop the oldest business on the world? are the ngos in lack of usefull projects to tackle? what about people in need of clean water and energy? what about refugees? what about malaria, hiv, ? border crossings? orphans? . how come countries like thailand are able to manage well and cambodia not?

i feel disappointed when i find a nice 'guest house' with smiling service, even with my cambodian friends, but we get rejected because they are affraid i am an ngo and will report the place or other malicious threat.

or am i just in the wrong places or misunderstand the whole thing? ngos feel free to comment.

Two PP girls once gave me a number for (very) LT-Rate. One asked for 150$/month after being kicked out of her family's home. The other asked for 300$/month.

In reply to towoldse re thai v cambodian women,in my experience the cambodians are vastly different.

I, too have observed a community of thai women in australia for more than 25 years.I have seen amongst 95% of these women compulsive gambling, constant infidelity and shameful treatment of children.I know thai born kids in jail, dead from drug overdoses and some deportations.

In my long job career, I had the opportunity to work with some Thai people (both men and women) at my work site once in my life back in the states (I now live/work in Canada).

My impression: Fairly lazy bunch. Tried to do less than minimal work (just barely enough not to get fired). Made faces when you ask them to do a little extra to help as sometimes we all needed to fill in when others are either on vacation or out sick. This was just my own impression of the 5 or so Thais I had to work with, your experiences may vary. So, I'm not saying this reflects all Thais in general, just the ones I had to work with.

In Phnom Penh, this is my take after half-a-dozen trips (thanks to other posters who've sure helped me).

Stayed once in the place that used to be called the Sharaton Hotel (no relation to US chain. Name changed now anyway). Has a big gangster-style disco on main floor next to lobby. Really hot Vietnamese babes there waiting for the corrupt-rich-bureaucrat-son to arrive. Seriously. Body guards the lot. It's around the corner from what Phnom Penh. Needed ear plugs to sleep. But very GF.

Up side was I found a P4P girl at one of the bars on the roundabout by the what, took her back. Popped her twice that night. Sownside was I had be'fast with her and returned to the room to realise she stole the TV remote. Yes, the remote control for the TV. She seemed a reluctant shag. Maybe that's why she took an extra 'tip' on her way out the door. Also shows you how desparately poor some of these people are. I forget how much for LT but probably around 20USD

Another time I stayed at the Phnom penh Hotel. Quite an upmarket joint except for the Chinese sex tourists. Drunk, loud and spitting in the hallways. Sure there's where you want your tourism industry headed! Was with biz folks so didn't partake. I reckon it was GF though.

Another time I stayed at the Goldiana. A real fleebag used by NGO types etc. Had a VN girl from Martinis there. 20 USD LT. GF.

Sophies is the best though. Walk in sit down at the bar and they are giving you BBBJ at the bar and taking turns at it.

Chose two sisters! Yup. The palce had a side room. It was great. Hear it may be shut down. Check location on the other posts here.
