Hi there. Will be making my first trip in September. Realise it will be the rainy season, so would appreciate it if anyone could advise whether this makes a big difference regarding the ladies? More importantly, I presume all the prices in these reports refer to US $? Also, I presume the payments to the girls are in Riels and not actually in US$? If not, is it because they don't accept Riels or that the price goes up if they are paid in local currency? Does this also apply to all other businesses? On a slightly irrevelant note, do all departure taxes and visa fees have to be in US$ or do they accept Riels?

There should still be plenty of girls to find (although when there is higher demand, there tends to be higher supply in some places like Martini Bar).

In PP, dollars are readily accepted in virtually any retail outlet, hotel, softdrink vendor, market place etc.

Same goes for SV.

You are more likely to arrive with $US than Riel (do not change currency before you arrive) and they prefer dollars anyway (THB or other currencies will cost more).

On departure, if you are looking to get rid of your last few thousand Riel, then the departure tax office will accept it towards the $25 total. There is a decent coffee shop in the departure lounge which is a handy way to spend the last of your cash also.

Hey sam,if you stay at the flamingo there is a consatant stream of ladies leaving the place pretty well all day.
