I have eaten cheap loklak and it's edible. My solution on beef is either eat only Kobe or wagyu, or wait for a hotel buffet in Bangkok and get the prime rib or steamboat rounds.
I've eaten at curry you are referring to more than once. I still prefer Thai curry.

I went to the Tonl Bassac II Buffet pre-COVID. Highly rated. This place was humungous. Food was average at best for me but the girl I took loved it. It was a big deal for her to go there.

For a good beef dish, I recommend the Chinese restaurant in the President Hotel. The beef melts in your mouth. Kind of expensive for Cambodia (but affordable comparing it to the US). You see a lot of nice cars in front; rich Khmers go there.
In the US, I get the prime graded beef at Costco, and now, it's hard to go back eating normal USDA choice beef.

But the rest of it is bland and boring. There is nothing unique about it. That is not to say there's not tasty dishes, like for example noodle soup in various styles, but I guarantee you if you put a bowl of Thai noodle soup from a street market next to a bowl of Khmer noodle soup from a street market in front of a gourmet, he'd be reaching for the Thai stuff.
What Cambodia specializes in, especially in the tourist areas, is fusion cuisine. That is, Western dishes with some Cambodian elements and or made by Cambodian chefs. I've had some fabulous food in Cambodia, but can't recall ever really raving about a pure Khmer dish. On the other hand, poor Khmers know how to get the best of the limited food they have. I'm a freak for the steam sweet potatoes and bone soups. I also really enjoy Cambodian curry with a warm buttered baguette.
On the other hand, I think Harry's bars swedish meatballs are fabulous.

One day I woke up with a cutie (from Candy bar on street 136) next to me, she said "let's go to my cousin's house" (I only met that girl the night before).
I said no.
She then said "OK, we take my bike and I make you visit PP". I thought ok, that's better.
I let you guess where she took me, straight to her cousin's house on a remote part of PP, after driving for what looked like 20 minutes or more.
The cousin lived in the worst sh*hole that I ever visited, even worse than the Insomnia freelancers sharing a room with 4 other girls on Naklua soi 29 (Pattaya).
I took a real pity for that girl, she was trying to get a decent life but I could see it's very hard for the common folks in Cambodia. Her place was sh*t but she was doing her best to keep it clean and decent.
My girl gave her some dollars and the cousin came back with some fresh meat and vegetables (plus beer cans) bought in the nearby market.
They then proceeded to cook the best Loclac I ever ate. Honestly I wouldn't exchange that Loclac with any of the good stuffs I found in Bkk or Pattaya.
I still got the pictures of that moment.

Street 136 was absolutely filled with cute girls. For a variety of reasons I did not partake but if you're in Phnom pen, it might be worth it for an overnight stop. I stayed at the lavonia Hotel about 500 m from the action at Street 136 and Street 49 and it was quiet even though I had a street facing room.

100 usd for LT is peanuts. These girls debase themselves by banging strangers so they can support their families. Some are scammers but I've met plenty who are not. They last thing I'm going to do is haggle with them, unlike you.
I was in Phnom Penh a few months ago for 5 days, and I stay in contact with 3 girls from Wow bar that I took for 100 usd LT each on separate nights. Service was very good and they were all 19 and the worst in looks was a 7. They still ping me maybe twice a month to say Hi, and none of them have ever asked me for money, ever. In January, I will likely just ask them to meet me separately outside of the bar and pay whatever they ask. I hope that spoils the market for you Southeaster.

That's rich. 9 posts in and your superiority and mind reading abilities are showing to be next level. You know absolutely nothing about me, but assume to know it all. I suppose I can take some comfort in knowing that you will join the hordes of PP visitors with more dollars than sense and get taken for some royal rides. Polluting the forum hahahahahahaa. Enjoy. I know the girls will.

I only commented because I'm tired of having to sift through posts from broke, whiny bitches like you when I, like most people, just want to know what is happening on the ground. It's not as if people are going to change their spending habits anyways based on some random internet stranger chewing them out, so why do you bother? Stop polluting the forum with your whining.

Lots of young cute girls on 104 to 136. It takes time and money to take one for LT / overnight (my objective).
Asiandating, FB, IG, etc. Are a waste of time.
PP is a target rich environment. You will see an upper echelon of young, fashionable girls in cafes and coffee houses. That group is difficult to penetrate. But I was able to hook up quickly with civvies who worked in normal businesses. One invited herself to my hotel on the 2nd date. They're just as sick if Cambodian men as Thai girls are of Thai men. If you're good looking, possess game, and are not an old man, you can pull civvies without trying.
