Girl friendly. Steps away from numerous bars. Rooms are good. Avoid the 1 bedroom apartments they are filthy.

Stayed at the Lux many times. Guest friendly: no extra charge; girls seem to know they need to leave their ID at the front desk when entering. You need to call the front desk when a visitor departs, so she can retrieve her ID. Hotel is looking after you.

Ground Zero for bars. As I said before, couldn't be closer to the "Sanuk" unless there was a bar in the lobby.

No idea about the apartment cleanliness, as I haven't book one. But the room I've always occupied has been spotless.

I'm sorry if this is a noob question but browsing the forum just left me very confused. I'm planning a trip to Cambodia and Vietnam next week for a few weeks. And I just wanted to find out what the scene is like. Where one should go, places to stay, etc.

I'm thinking Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Sihanoukville and Kampot.

I know asking for a lot, but I hope ya'll don't mind.

Ask away all you want, no one will mind. Not one bit at all. In fact no one will care to respond either, as it is quite evident that there is no RTFF done.

Read a few pages back. There are some really solid posts from BMs like Rick Rock, Sam Sanuk, Banana Boi, Mutant Chicken, etc. Despite this if you cannot find what you are looking for, then it is better to stay at home.

I don't know the Khmer spelling of the names. That's what it sounds like. Another poster wrote that it sounded like Apple (a nice girl, with horrible childhood scars. She covered most of it with tattoos, but she said her mom told her to stop).

Yes, you're right. I know nothing about Cambodia. I'm a noob who just happened to have been doing Srey Pov before she had a single tattoo. You guys who call her "Apple" and pay $40 and $50 are the experts.

There are no Khmer names like that. Maybe you're talking about Pov (which means young child) and someone else. ("A" is added before a name informally between friends when calling each other, so "Srey Pov" might be called "Apov" by her friends). If that's who you're talking about I've done her. I've done almost all in the bar. There are no tiered rates. They all take the same amount of money. I told you what I paid. Take the information or leave it. I don't really care what you pay. I was just trying to let you know what other people are paying. If you're okay with that, enjoy.

Even though the "A" they put before the name is probably for use with familly or very close friends the girls give these names to the people they meet also. I 've met some Ahlya, Ahny, Ahrut, I've seen some Ahnet and so on, even though I never met them before they presented themselves by these names.

Regarding the price, thanks for sharing with us the price that you pay but it doesn't mean that we'll absolutely get these prices even though we are aware of the price market for locals or expats. When I went there I knew that the price was probably higher that the going rate (40 $) but the girl wouldn't go down after my attempts to bargain even though I told her that I came here a few years ago, the girl was not even a looker, she was just OK for a fuck. And when you did not have a fuck for months, it's not the 10 or 15 $ that you pay more that will stop you from fucking her. For the massage parlor it's a different story as I could get on multiple occasions at 7 and 30 $ , but the service was not good over there. But anyway I will probably be there in a few weeks and will try to get it at 30 in the bars.

I fully agree that some hotels are indeed ideological warzones. Would be helpful to get the names of such places for general intel. I will always stay in the hotels near the riverside and all of them are guest friendly.

Kantari hotel on street 294 for example is not guest friendly (but it's not on the river side). I saw it only when I checked, it's a shame because except for the breakfast, the place was very good.

Then the Monsoon Boutique hotel on street 130, in the middle of the action, clearly says that they are strongly against sex tourism but I didn't have a problem bringing a girl back there, and I saw other guys going out of the place at 12 o'clock with girls that were clearly WG.

Should be obvious that I'm not new, but it wouldn't matter either way. I didn't pay double or triple the going rate the first time I went to Vietnam or Macau either. I paid the local going rate. You should try it sometime.

Or pay whatever you want and try to take them to an anti-sex tourist hotel. Who cares.

Listen, you can pay whatever you want. The fact is I can and do go to Cyrcee regularly, take any of the girls I want to a nearby hotel, then give them $25 when I leave. No questions asked and no problems. Period, end of story.

Well, you may write what you want but if you read my point, if you are new, there is almost no way (maybe unless they think you're Japanese and will pay a lot) you can get the top producers for $25.

But you implied that you know the girls. More power to you if you can get Ap-pul and An-na for $25.

Just a poor attempt. I've read that there aren't many. I'm glad RR drove and/or emailed all those hotels to get his info.

The problem with the guest friendly hotel websites is that they only list positives, not the bad hotels.

List of unfriendly hotels: Billibong, Monkey Hostals, Serendipity Beach Resort, Grand Sihanoukville Hotel.

No need to reply to this guy. He posts on dozens of cities as an expert but is very often wrong as is the case here. Bars like City and Golden Vine are entirely Vietnamese or Khmer Krom. You know it and I know it, so why bother with his posts?

I reported as I experienced it. I should be in PP again in November and based on what you guys are saying as "experts", will make a trip again to see for myself. I can tell the difference between a Khmer and a Viet, even if the Khmers are from the Southwest border of Vietnam.

And if I do find Viets there I will happily accept your intel. If not, I will report what I saw. Simple. Why get personal?
