They looked like they were not part of the regular crew- and did dance like they were "ringers". And yes, she could have been pocketing the extra 5 bucks. Did anyone ever been asked to pay 15 $ for barfine at Candy bar? I know the normal price is 10 $ but I was asked that price because the girl was supposedly a dancer there, though I never saw her dancing as every time I've been there she had already left with a customer.

This is going to less on the reporting part and more on my thoughts.

I was in Phnom Penh for 2 weeks last month and I absolutely fucked zero girls, pros or non-pros. This was not what I intended at all when I arrived in Phnom Penh but I wasn't planning on fucking too much either. I absolutely hate the girly bar scene so that pretty much wipes out 3/4 of the monger options for me. No joke, for the entire trip, I've never step foot once in any girly bars and I only went to pontoon twice. Pontoon is actually a decent nightclub. The lights and lasers were cool and I liked most of the music the DJ was playing. And I love how the staff never pressured me into buying any drinks. The girls are not pushy either. The drink that I did order both time I was there was spirit, which was way over priced at $3. 75. You can buy the same can in the mini-mart for less than a dollar. I'm not sure about the prices for alcohol but I'm pretty sure they are over priced as well.

The first night, I arrived at 11 pm which was way too early as there were barely any girls at that time. I say the best time to go is around midnight to 1 AM. Anyways, I did not see any girls that made me want to pull so I left after I finished my drink. The second night, I arrived at midnight and soon after, a beautiful girl, 7/10 in the face, came in and stood next to me. She had long jet black hair and was elegantly dressed. She had some flowery perfume on that made me very attracted to her. We exchanged a couple awkward smiles and then finally I decided to ask her if she is available for the night through google translate. She quoted me $100, I was like hell no and countered $40 which she refused. So that was the end. Again, I left at around 2 AM after I finished my drink and I noticed that she was still there without a client.

To me, the only women on earth who I would pay $100 to fuck are Brazilians. These Cambodian girls in the girly bars and pontoon aren't worth that much money. No disrespect to them, as I know they quote the price they quote in order to survive. But that doesn't mean I have to pay it.

I then came to realize that if I'm willing to put in some work that I could easily date non-pros but it was too late for this trip. I'm by no means handsome. Just average looking, but I was getting looks from young normal Cambodian girls everywhere I was going. One time I went into a mini-mart by a gas station near the Russian market and the three cashier girls immediately screams, smiles at me, and waves at me. At first, I didn't even know what was going on. I thought they were directing it at someone behind me but there was nobody behind me. Another time I was in the supermarket, the two cashier girls who rang me up were delighted to talk to me. I was both surprised and happy that they spoke some English. There was also a young Cambodian girl that sits at a street corner selling Cambodian sweets. She was so cute I fell in love with her. So every other afternoon I would go to her, give her a smoothie drink that I bought for her, and buys a box of her sweets (R3000). I tried to talk to her but a) she only speaks Cambodian and b) she is extremely extremely shy. She can barely make eye contact with me when I talk her (but her face lights up like a Christmas tree when she sees me, she's even cuter when she smiles). I would've needed at least a month to crack her. I really hope she is still there when I go back. I guess what I'm trying to say is I think there is enough young good looking normal girls that I really don't need the girly bars or freelancers for sex. Of course, its not as easy to bed normal girls as pros. A lot of work and time is needed. But if I am given the choice to fuck a normal girl or a pro, I would 100% go with the normal girl. This is just my option I would like to share with everyone. I am by no means trying to disrespect any member on here.

I do this most of the time. And you don't need to be a keen observer to see that entering and immediately departing is routinely done by most bar crawlers. No problem. It's SOP for most guys. If the place doesn't rock your boat, move on. Attractive girls outside will certainly grab my attention and is more likely to get me to take a look inside. As far as payment is concerned, everybody has their own pay scale. Both the customer and the provider. And those scales fluctuate and are usually negotiable. $70 long time (and less) and $30ST has been acceptable for me consistently. I don't "tip". This is just my personal experience and is only to add to your knowledge base.

As I reported, I walked into almost every single bar on 136,130 and 104. Obviously I did not sit down in each bar I entered. Perhaps 70% of the bars were just in and out within 30 seconds. And I had no trouble with it. My general rule of thumb for walking in and out are as follows:

- If there is no music playing.

- If the aircon is shut off / the place does not have an aircon.

- If there are less than 10 girls inside.

- If I spot more than 2 ladyboys inside.

- If I see an unruly gang of men completely drunk inside insisting on music of their choice (happened one night at Rose Bar).

The $5 was a tip for the girl.

Yes. I've been told that the Butterfly Bar, Candy Bar and 69 Bar on 136 have the same owner. Candy Bar and 69 Bar have been my "home bars" on about 4 trips into PP. Never had any problems at all. No bill padding, witnessed no fights between customers or between the girls.SS.

I spent 3 nights last month in PP. Stayed at Point Boutique Hotel on Street 130. Lovely little place. Definitely will stay here again.

Picked girls for LT from Alaska bar. Paid $70 + $5. Girls from 69 bar for ST. Paid $50 + $5.

Walked into almost every bar on 136,130 and 104. Worst bar I have seen on this visit was The Corner Bar on 136. I liked a girl at Rose Bar on 104 but she was busy. The same thing happened at OneZeroFour on 104.

Also went to DD on 2 nights. Quite a few good looking girls there. Price discussions will irk some punters so I won't bother with the details.

Had a very good dinner one night with a couple of friends and the girls at some restaurant called 54 something. Great food, live music, cheap beer.

I had a very unpleasant experience at Candy Bar earlier this year over Happy Hour prices. I arrived toward the end of Happy Hour and ordered a drink but was charged full price. When the bill was put in my chit container on the bar, the time registered on the bar chit was in advance of the Happy Hour conclusion buy clearly after checking my watch it was not. I questioned this at the time and had verification from 2 other customers and called for the manager. A most aggressive female came forward and defended the bar staff and the erroneous charge. I left immediately, not consuming my drink and only leaving sufficient Riel on the bar to cover the advertised Happy Hour price. I will never enter Candy Bar again even though I have taken girls from there previously.

Sorry for your experience. Butterfly Bar, Candy and the other one owned by the same lady have a lot of horror stories going back years. Pill padding, fights, all kinds of bad shit. They're best to be avoided in my opinion. Never heard anything good about any of them. On top of that 100 is a crazy price for a few hours of sleeping and one round of sex. Usually they only try it on if they work in a rip off joint or they don't really want to go with a guy. It is still very usually for bar girls to sleep all night with a customer for 30 to 50 dollars. For perspective you could've spent 30 at Cyrcee and got just as much sex with a better performer and then back to your room for a peaceful sleep without any arguments!

I never had a problem hiring a starfish from either of those bars. Performance, departure times agreed to were honored. Maybe I was just lucky? I like to believe that it is a combination of 40 years of mongering experience and careful vetting during pre-employment interviews that provides a measure of "luck". (And, yes, it is always a roll of the dice. I've been "had" a few times, but not in those bars. All in BKK.

Had a bad experience with a bar girl from MrButterfly (see the photo below). Agreed LT for USD 100 at around 12 am. Back to room, had one shot and sleep. The next day morning 7 am tried to touch her for second round but she said she want to sleep so I was thinking OK, let's sleep for while. At 11 am, touch her again and request for another round but this time was told that she is 'don't have the feeling' to do it. Wake up and dressed up said want to leave. I was a bit pissed-off and told her I will only give her ST price. She refused and said that her LT definition is one shot and accompany me sleep till the next day! $% After much argument for almost one hour I finally give in for not wanted to created any unwanted trouble.
