Meanwhile, the complex, both ground-level and second floor, seems more active than as described by you and the desolate scene of a couple weeks ago, staffed during late afternoon with reasonable, responsive 3's to 6's, though of course YMMV. Others not on duty appeared to be having a meal in a couple places before a presumed evening shift, so no telling what goes on to what degree later in the evening. Construction and rehab continues in the complex units as well, but unclear if it's for legit office space or other activities.

Exit A. As you walk out, there's an apartment complex with ground / second floor shops almost straight ahead. The 4-5 BBS used to be on the right side of this complex. Had the pink lights and everything. Walk left a bit after exiting station to find the narrow walkway into the shop / parking lot area, then walk right a bit. Nothing but actual shops / restaurants last time I checked it out though.

Spent a week in Beijing, tried to prepare myself with this excellent forum, I'm glad I did!

My hotel was in Sanlitun area, so I started there, at Swing.

It was pretty nice, some WG, but usually not the pretty ones, saw some chines, some from Africa and of course Mongolia, all arrive late at about 23-00 so don't bother to get there early. Had some nice time with the girls but didn't take any home nor negotiated about price. The place itself is foreigner friendly, drinks not pricey and the band is actually good.

Now. Went to Maggies, that another beast. The place is packed with Mongolian working girls all the time. Most of them will make eye contact and some will be more direct. The pretty ones will usually sit still and wait for you. (like real life hehe).

Even though you know it's all fake, you can't help but getting excited by the game (at least I did).

I spent there for an hour and noticed a really pretty girl, small and petite with blue contact lenses, soon enough she noticed me too and the game began. She started dancing and flirting from a far..

I checked it out Thursday night around 10 PM. The 4 or 5 BBS right by the subway were not open, 4 of them completely dead.

Went to the complex a ten minute walk south to see if the BBS there were closed too, but it did have some signs of life. Counted 4 BBS there. One had 3 WG, all old and ugly. Two had one WG, but not worth even 100 RMB. One had a hot, young WG but had an odd experience: girl was sitting in a chair in the tiniest room imaginable in front of a big window. She was on her phone so I tapped the window and she looked up and just had zero expression. I asked "zuo bao jian?" and she didn't reply. I tried gesticulating like "so what's up?" for like 30 seconds. And she may have given me a microsecond of a smirk but nothing else. I kinda just backed away confused. Not sure what the deal with that was.

So yeah looks like for the time being, LSQ BBS's are dead or just not worth going to. I'll check it out again maybe in a couple months, because it's died and come back before, but who knows.

Could only get out for daytime to do a check of EP2-proffered BBS data and pretty much came up goose eggs; anything he referenced as current in his most recent posts of two years ago did not seem to be happening much now, if at all, and presumably have been shut down -- save for that at the end of the line (5). R-ingTFF but still open to further, up-to-date confirmed suggestions or corrections, particularly for the LSQ-TTY nexus zone, but also elsewhere as had been noted in the EP2 lexicon of two years back, as well as for any other areas or ideas that might currently come to mind from anyone else.

The 3 BBS near DZM are still up as of last week and still the same quality: WGs I wouldn't touch even if you paid me.

Running out of places to find a cheap lay. The MZD 6th floor spa still offers a massage + BBBJ / CIM for like 700 and FS for 1000. Last year I'd say the talent there wasn't worth the price, but that was in comparison to the 300 BBS experience, but now.

Haven't been to Nina's near Central Park in a while, anybody gone in the past year? Has good times there, great massage and BBBJ / FS for 1100.

Damn glad to hear it. Although I usually swing and miss with the Mongolian girls I still had a good time in fact some of the bar tenders started recognizing me from my past trips. One thing about those girls, they can sure drink like fishes and it's not the cheap stuff either (although prices seem OK compared with Hong Kong). I'll be returning soon anyway and I hope it stays busy.

As I mentioned, have had no issues in the past with lobby meets, or walking in together. However if you want to totally avoid a potentially awkward encounter with lobby staff, use Yin or floor 2, to meet up with a friend you have already made arrangements with. In other words, don't expect to find what you are looking for at Yin, bring your own friend.

I'the anticipate however the outdoor area closed due to cold weather late Nov. 2nd floor (as PeterPan 18 mentioned) is great to either meet up with your friend, or transfer from Yin elevator to room elevators (Yin elevator only for 1st, 2nd and 12th floors).

Thanks for your reply, MoonCat1. Since I am not a senior member on this site yet, I cannot PM you. Any further details you can provide will be greatly appreciated. I will be in Beijing Nov. 20-22, and would be disappointed to stay at New World if Yin will be closed or dead during that time, unless there is some other similar option at that location.
