Hello all. USA east coast resident here. My usual stomping ground is the Dominican Republic; but per chance I happened upon a business class airfare to Beijing that I just could not pass up. So I'll be coming to your fair city for the first time, at the end of April / beginning of May.

My expectation wasn't too high to begin with, since I heard about the government crackdown, and also Beijing was not known for mongering unlike certain southern cities. My main focus for this trip will be signtseeing and cultural enrichment, but I'll be remiss if I don't sample a few northern Chinese beauties while there! However, after RTFF for a dozen pages or so of this thread, and cursory reading of other Chinese threads, I'll say that I'm shocked at the level of sadness and despair! Higher prices, and fewer services! "xxx yuan and not even BBBJ?" "China has nothing to offer post-crack down!" Still, as many people say, things can change in China at warp speed. In another month and a half when I arrive, hopefully things will improve?!

Can you guys confirm or disprove my summary of options below?

1. Out-call services like the ones advertised here in the classified section. 700/ pop appears to be middle of the road damage. Not good, but can be a lot worse. And FS is guaranteed.

2. Maggie's. I'm not really a night club / bar person, but this place is a sure bet for takeouts. And possibility of hot Mongolian chicks are intriguing. Disadvantages: can get pricey, and one has to buy expensive drinks.

3. Various out-call massage providers offering an archaic menu of packages, with prices ranging from 298,598, all the way to VIP level 1198. But still, FS is not guaranteed?

4. Mamasan's hanging around the big hotels. Get their info, negotiate, have them send girls over to my place. Some said these can be scams?

2. Overpriced, many girls really not pretty. Has lost its past glory since long time.

I have stayed in the Best Western Grandsky a couple of times. The hotel is walking distance to the International exhibition center. The other two are probably not that close and you may need a taxi to go to the exhibition.

My experience is limited. But, I find the area near the exhibition pretty dry as far as P4P activities. That is why I preferred to stay at the Metropark Lido about 30 minutes by taxi from the exhibition. About 50 RMB. A much more livelier area and the hotel is girl-friendly too.

Are the fun places all street level retail spaces? Or are they on a higher floor in a certain building? If the latter then I'd need more guidance. Correct, Parkinsons and they are street level with a couple of easily noticeable upper level ones. Just remember, after you go under the bridge, turn left into a car park and they will all be on your right as you follow that road.

Yeah, sorry about not having private messaging, I have a few issues there. Also, it seems that I am the only one who can provide info on all the places that I like, haha. Have absolutely no interest in the likes of Maggies or Chocolate or Kitty. I much prefer 'walking hunt' with the ladies on view and the cheaper options, of course.
