A few years ago the Chinese company that we were working with would always take us to an underground KTV. No markings on the buildings and in a very dark area in Shanghai. Definitely similar to what you discussed. The girls were naked in about an hour and dancing and messing around on the couches. It was a orgy if you wanted it. Every time I agree to go visit new establishment via WeChat connections / Online Escort Websites for the first time, there is always a nervous period upon arrival and today was no exception considering that I messaged the lady yesterday but today she added me from a different account saying that the other account had been blocked and the photos were definitely too good to be true (she said that she had 10 girls). There's a couple of QR scan codes that bring up different mini-apps if you scan them using WeChat's scan function.

The one I use regularly is the mobile one. It just has you put in your mobile number and texts back a verification code that you put in, to prove that the phone number you are writing down when you check in places on a sheet of paper that also has your temperature check at that time is not a fake or someone else's phone number.

There's also one that proves you have done your health check to get approved to come into China. Since I've been in Beijing since September, I have not had to use that one, so I don't know it's details.

In WeChat, drag down on your chats to reveal the Mini-Program interface. In the search bar, type in 'Health Kit' to find the app. Enter the app, and select language as English (if preferred).

Press 'log in' to register your profile. Enter your name and passport number before taking a picture of your passport photo page.
