I'm officially declaring Beijing one of the worst if not the worst city in Asia for Mongering. I have been all over Asia many times and I can safely say, Beijing is in a race to the bottom in terms of Value (quality / price).

When the highlight of the board is a chubby Chinese rated 5 charging 700 rmb or a Mongolian charging 1500 to 3000 rmb, something is terribly wrong.

I don't want to be a tree huger but in the year 2000 to 2010, you could find Chinese 8, 9 10 , Thai and other nationalities. All over Beijing (no need to list the places, old-timers knows them well). The Mongolians at old Maggies were one of the options and had to be competitive on price and service. And they were because you had many possibilities within few miles.

Now, 8 to 10 years later, where are the Chinese? The other nationalities? We all know where the Mongolians are and they know very well that we don't have other options other than low-end massage parlor and chubby girls. The escort game online! Have you tried it? I'm quite sure 7 out of 10 are a bait and switch and the 3 showing up are nowhere close to the pic.

I'm just coming back from a two months business trip across 12 cities in Asia. Beijing is # 12. IF I had visited 50, it would probably be #50. Last night I went to Maggies and I have many benchmarks in my head some from expensive cities such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai, Shenzhen. I got quoted, different prices ranging from 1200 to 4000 Rmb. The 4000 one is at Maggies every night, kind of cocky, mix-Russian Mongolian. (Cute though).

In every cities bar I went, these girls would have been way low in the list of quality compare to other and their pricing not even close. They would have been to the bottom of my list versus.

Based on that, I can just conclude the Beijing is in a race to the bottom. As there is no marketplace anymore, quality is moving to other cities and prices are jacked up by girls that see the opportunity.

I'm willing to accept any other views but if you gone make the case that there is a better picture out there, feel free to share and I'm willing to live home immediately and go check it out. We are Friday night.

I agree totally with your view on Beijing and Maggie's. The 4000 RMB girl is proud to tell all the guys she is the most expensive girl in Maggies. I told her she wasn't my type but bought a drink for her and we talked for about 20 minutes. She floated around for about another hour but low and behold a guy that was obviously drunk took her home. Amazing that every night there is a sucker to take her home and my guess is not that good in bed with her cocky attitude. We the customers have created the high prices by paying. I took girls from Maggies almost every night and found cuter girls for 1800 LT. Paid 1500ST one time only because I didn't want he to stay. The quality of girls was agreed on the low side with only 3 or 4 girls I would consider a 7. The worst I have seen in the 20 years I have been going to Maggies. It is impossible to explain what Maggies was in the past to the new guys and only senior members that were there 10 or 15 years ago can understand. In the past very few overpaid for services. Now it is the norm. For 20 years I have encouraged members here to go to Maggies but I will not anymore. Quality is low and prices are stupid. The only fix is to stop going there.

The escort online is pretty much all bait and switch.

There are no other bars like the Pig to frequent.

Sorry, don't mean to be argumentative, but if you consider Kitty's and Angel' highlights, that only shows how low the bar is set in Beijing. I think of them more like the 'pretty' girl in an engineering school.

Yeah, I guess I am merely saying that Kitty is better than Rain, and THAT is definitely setting the bar super low. I wish RAIN wasn't a psycho XYZ (rhymes with punt). But I do miss the old days in Beijing. Especially the BBSs. I think the stupid Olympics was a turning point.

Not sure I can agree with that. While the prices have been going up in Shanghai (I suppose relative to inflation), the quality has remained consistent, at least up until this recent crackdown.

Tax fully agree with the fact that the quality hasn't gone up. Like most things we may pay more but the quality doesn't necessarily go up. Unlike our cell phones (more costly phones = higher price). To bad that doesn't apply to the working women. We all need to be more particular in what we want to pay for what we see. Too bad I wasn't around during the fishbowl days. It sounded like a blast to be able to pick someone out of a line up. I guess maybe I need to travel even further east to find that kind of place Thailand?

Although I did ask about GFE when booking and was told she was great, however kissing was not on the menu this visit. As always, YMMV.

From what I can tell, there is really only 1 redeeming feature in the Beijing mongering scene, and she is simply the best, perhaps in China, but most certainly Beijing. However, she was busy the night I was available. Although Maggie's is currently out of the question for me, even they are sh $t compared to what they used to be (I go back to 2004).

Just wanted to share my experience with these 3 incall places, which are part of the story—along with outcall places like Angels and Lilly's—- of how the mongering scene has morphed in Beijing over the years. The changes that have been forced upon us have made Beijing mongering less convenient for visitors (with only Maggie's and perhaps Chocolate retaining some semblance of bygone days) for sure, but for locals who know the way around, Beijing is still a pretty good place to enjoy the China's beautiful women. Recently some excellent saunas have even popped up here —places that rival Shanghai— but generally you need a Chinese friend to introduce you. Anyway here are my reviews: 1) Hidden Dragon: fantastic upscale venue, the best of these 3. Great customer service re WeChat responses and you are sent actual photos of girls available. The girls tend to be petite and sexy, with Lisa the best all-around package in my view. I wish they had some more voluptuous options. I don't like to number girls but they are generally cute girl next-door types. Serve is very enjoyable. 2) Sophie's: the girls I have met are sexy, voluptuous, pretty girl next door / student types. I don't go by numbers but "nonsense " to the gentleman who say "2's and 3's at Sophie's. " Excellent and sensual oil massages. I have had many delightful afternoons and evenings at this well run establishment. Also, great customer service and accurate WeChat photos of the girls. 3) Wonderful Massage: all 3 girls featured— Summer, Lilly, Sasha— are sexy babes with hot bodies and great skills. Personally I like Summer the best. She has a sort of Beijing "cool girl" attitude, loves music. And find her to be a passionate, sensual and highly skilled provider of sexual arousal and pleasure. She is highly booked and better to get her in the afternoon or early evening before she is tired. Lots of money flowing into China. I don't expect this to much unless a recession occurs.

One thing I miss about BJ is the outcall services, such as Kitty's. The girls are 5's but come on time and some provide decent experience, especially if they think you work there and are a potential repeat customer. Worth it for 700. Sometimes I'd ordered a girl before I went out to booze and then order another one after I came back. If you cannot do outcall, maybe rent those cheap hotels for a few days and after the deeds just go home? These kind of outcall agencies are expensive in Shanghai.

I tried out a few, such as Lemon Tree, Sophie Massage, etc. , and the girls were 2's, 3's, maybe 4's. One time, I did have a hot girl that was crazy and went off script and wanted to shag. But 1 time out of over 10 tries are not good odds. I miss the BBSs that seemed to be everywhere, but those are pretty much gone now.

Would I go there again, really not sure. Maybe I just have to get used to the new normal (even Shanghai isn't what it used to be, and I'm in Beijing now). I should add that at first I went for the Nuru massage (I really miss them), but quickly changed my mind once I realized they had no wet-beds. I have no idea how one can do a Nuru on a regular bed?
