(my old lady pays all the credit card bills, so I've never spent the time to figure out how to pay for a subscription on the Down Low for Direct messages. Sorry Jackson. It's me, it's not you) So, the hotel I chose, was pay-dirt. To an extent. In the basement (naturally), was a spa. Run down, dingy, but a spa. All the elements, including hot tub, showers, massage table (for an actual massage after your. Other massage? Lockers, etc. Everything was in Cyrillic. So that's a challenge, but with my Chinese, I ended up getting what I came for. Now. Massage wasn't great, the chick wasn't small, I've seen BBS's right next to bus stations with cleaner interiors than this place, and HJ was just so so, but it was middle of the day, so spa's are never stocked 24/7, and the rooms were all stand alone, windowless doors, beds inside (my room also had a mahjong table). The point more is that it's available. I paid 450 to the house for the massage. Then 200 to the DongBei lady for the extras. I guess if you went to a different, nicer hotel in that neighborhood, at a later time, you would have greater success. But. It's in little Russia. So, this may be one of those adventures you want to undertake while utilizing the Buddy System. Because. You know. Russians anyway. This is just a general tip from a mostly lurking dude who likes the occasional sleazy adventure. A further assumption would be that you could always just rent a room (can't be more than 400 or 500 RMB in this place I was), and order a massage up to your room.
