I'm a foreigner living in Shanghai. I've been in Shanghai for the past year. Can I enter Beijing?

Starting last week, the restrictions for foreign passport holders traveling domestically seem to have been relaxed. No issue traveling between Shanghai and Beijing. I flew out on Monday morning and didn't have to show any health codes at either airport. Biggest hassle came at checking into hotel and entering office buildings. You will need to ensure both the Beijing HealthKit code and mobile operator tracking code are Green.

I live in a compound. It needs a plastic entry permit card to get in. You can carry 2 cards out and bring girl in.

Problem is no girls in Beijing these days, they all return to hometown because of lack of customers. Do you know any reliable MPs in Beijing?

Reliable for what? The Massage Spa up in the second floor in the building on the south side of Datun Lu, west of Olympic Park, across the road from the National Zoological Museum is not perfectly reliable, but reliable-ish. In 2019 their price menu topped off at Y500, which included shower before and after and manual relief. After they finally re-opened after Spring Festival, that had climbed to Y600, with Y700 including ladies in their 30's or early 40's with seemingly medically enhanced assets freeing those assets up to be included in the massage after the flip. I'm no expert on number scaling technicians, but I reckon each of them would have been a 7/8 a decade back and working in a higher end place, back when the medical enhancements were closer to new.

There is a top end service above Y1,000 which mentions fancy rose massage oil, I'm not sure whether it includes anything additional on the menu than the expensive oil.

But even there is not entirely reliable. The first time I tried the Y700 service when they opened after the break, I did not realize what it was supposed to be as that was the sole time I had this older and stouter lady, and while she climbed all over me declaring her adoration for me, all the phony play acting was in lieu of the reasonable quality massage. She kept the top of her dress zipped and she didn't inspire any argument from me on that point.

So it's much less than you would get for an out-call of similar price range, if you can still find it, and it's much less than you would have got at one of the seedier MP's for the price four or five years ago, but as a massage with a finish and a bit of B2B tossed into the mix, it's reliable. As long as you get one of their two regular top end massage ladies and don't get the older pinch hitter thrown your way.

It's not a problem. SH and BJ are not risk areas. Travelling between these cities is fine, prices are reasonable too. Coming to BJ you will need to get the Health Kit in WeChat, SH people use the Health Code in Alipay.

These days it's not only 14-day quarentine. Foreigners are not allowed to enter China, period. Only ones allowed to enter are China nationals. That's why many service providers catering to foreigners are out of business. I am sure there are service providers to local but don't know any.

These days it's not only 14-day quarentine. Foreigners are not allowed to enter China, period. Only ones allowed to enter are China nationals. That's why many service providers catering to foreigners are out of business. I am sure there are service providers to local but don't know any.

Hidden Dragon and Angel Hands Massage, both body to body massage places, are open for in call and out call. Wonderful massage has not opened yet.

I am based in Shanghai, but I have to go to Beijing soon for meetings. Are you staying in a hotel or at an apartment complex? Either way, isn't the security strict? Won't the girl have to register and won't you have to personally show up to meet her and vouch for her? I stopped doing outcalls for the time being because there is still so much visitor scrutiny at apartment complexes. Anyway, why not try the MPs? In Shanghai, the MP gals are desperate to make up for lost time. They are willing to do a lot more than they used to. They really need the money after not working for months. I get the feeling the managers and even the LE are looking the other way, to allow them to make up for lost time.

From what I have seen it varies from compound to compound. In some they only do the superficial temperature check without signing in, others require guest to register via WeChat 24 hours before the visit.

Thanks for this info. The fact that it varies is what scares me. I tried to enter a complex a month ago, and the security threatened to call the police on me. Luckily, they just let me leave. Yes, this is probably just random bad luck and I should not generalize, but I hate to stir shit up, especially given the fact that I'm a foreigner. Oh well. Guess I just have to sit tight for now.

I may return to my previous job but I doubt the company will send anyone into China with the 2 weeks quarantine in place. That's throwing money away. It may be winter time or 2021 before operations return to some normality. But as the cold will set in, there may be a second wave again?

Anyway, I am back to Beijing after 5 years in Hongkong beginning of the year, just in time for height of covid-19. First few weeks obviously stayed at home due to all kind of restrictions and social distancing measures. As weather got warmer and No new cases reported, I thought it was time to mongering again.

That's when the sad story started. I checked with few known services providers, especially most trusted one, Angel. She said due to virus, none of her girls had returned from hometown. Plus due to lack of customers, she decided to take a break. I checked with few other providers and more or less same result.
