There is a small bar opened by some of the connections to Maggie's. It's called Victory Bar - I was there May 29 and 30 - 6 Mongolian girls in total there and I pegged 3 of them. I missed 2 absolute stunners by just 2 days as they arrived day after I left. That's life.

Only action in town is at Mei Bar at Rosewood Hotel. Great band which is worth going to see alone. I grabbed a small blonde Ukrainian at 1500ST. Great little performer.

Tried Centro at 9 pm on Fri nt and myself and 8 Chinese in there. Basically deserted yet the band played on.

Chocolate closed pre-covid. Another famous pick up bar "Maggies" is now gone too. I used to travel a lot in China pre-covid and still have friends there. From what I hear from friends still in China the scene for expats is grim.

That's a real good point. I know for sure I'm not going to get stuck there, but is something as simple as bringing an escort to your hotel grounds to get denied entry? Seems a little extreme.

I have taken several escorts back to my hotel, or had them show up at my hotel over the years, and have never had a problem getting a new visa.

I agree with MW. You will be OK. Besides if you were on some "list" the Chinese government would not allow you to get a visa for entry. Why go through the hassle of arresting and deporting you when they can just block your entry.

BTW, at blahblahlife, I am not sure if you met her at one of those short time hotels, but one thing that has changed in the past few years is that foreigners are no longer allowed entry into those hotels. I have been turned away at several now, this is regardless of how I tried to book them (either online or in person). If you are caught inside one of those hotels, then now you may get reported just for that. The fact that you are East Asian helps you a lot, and so do not talk and give away that you are a foreigner. A couple of years ago, I snuck into one of those hotels, and then while I was in the room, the front desk called. The front desk person said that she saw me sneak into the room, and she asked for a bribe to keep this information to herself. I of course ran out of the room and ran out of the hotel.

That sounds. Absolutely wild.

Also thanks everyone for your input. I agree, I may just get denied a visa if I apply for one, and honestly, I think even if they did know they really wouldn't care. Just being paranoid is all.

And you speak of short time hotels, I was at an actual hotel, I just checked in and out after a couple hours. Which is why I thought I may have caused some suspicions.

I doubt anyone on here will be able to give you a definitive answer to your question. But if the cops did not arrest you back then, then I would think that you have nothing to worry about with regards to returning to Beijing.

Back in 2019, I was on my own in Beijing and I got the urge, so I went on a few sites and looked around (may or may not have been on VPN, I can't remember), found contact info of a pretty good looking girl and contacted her. After working out the details over wechat, I went out and booked a hotel (place I was staying was with other friends so I obviously couldn't go back there). Hotel staff asked for my info and copied my passport (I'm East Asian but I'm from a western country). Hung out and took a shower while I was in my room, when my date was near the hotel, I went out to meet her and brought her back to the room.

She was stopped by the staff who asked her to register with her ID card. She mentioned it wasn't ideal, but it wasn't a big deal. Anyways after we enjoyed our massage and play session, we just simply left. I returned my key card and told the staff I'the checked out and we walked out together and went separate ways.

I'm headed back there sometime next year, so it will be about 4 years since my last visit. After all the news about some high profile crackdowns. , and remembering these details, I've gotten a tiny bit paranoid. I know 99% I'm okay but I just wanted to ask others for peace of mind.

The staff has all our information, and they probably know what was going down after seeing both of us leave after a very short time. Would the hotel staff have tipped off the cops about something like this? Also this happened 3-4 days before my return flight, and obviously nothing happened in those 3 days. I think more or less no one cares and that I'm probably safe to return to Beijing without being stopped for an incident 4 years ago?

I think it will take years to come for any Central Asian and Russians girls to come back. Even the local scene seems pretty limited for expats.
