This technique has become my standard modus operandi. I think it is still technically illegal for a foreigner in China to have sex with a local, so I guess the could try to book you on that (can anyone confirm this?). My solution of course is to meet a Mongolian or Russian girl at the sauna. At that point it is just 2 foreigners getting together doing their thing. If she is a known prostitute then you could probably still get in trouble, but each precaution you take makes is harder for the cops to convict you. The goal is to make it such a long shot that they won't even try.

Location: 东四北大街 (dong si bei da jie). Easter side of the road, in the Northern part of the dongsi bei. Almost opposite this DVD shop that always blasts very loud music out on the sidewalk. Propoer bath house appearance, with the landmark 浴, I think, and a price list in the window. I tried to go once at daytime, but was basically sent away - at night, service is more profound.

Service: the western and European massage are both around 200 - 250, the interesting variation is for 300, where there is mutual nakedness, the rest is the 400, 600, 800 variation, but while I learned that 600 is with oral (a bit outrageous, to be honest), I have not yet found out about the 800 one. Don't come for the quality massage. One of the places I do not like, as they try to push you into their full service department, and if you don't want that, the regular stuff is crap. after rejecting the offers long enough, the girl got desperate and tried to lure me into more through a little hand job. It least it was free.

The raunchy bits are 欧式，韩式, they are at the bottom of the menu as a combi package, at ca 250-280, with ca 30 RMB and 30 min plus, but that plus is only a foot massage (I am not that into feet, especially my own). Ms Lulu from Shaanxi is very cute and would marry right away if you are nice to her. Hm, how to start? It took me a while of staying in China until I started enjoying the massage experiences – but now the small oily hands of friendly masseuses are an indispensable part of my week. Location: The first place I ever went to: near the crossing of gulou xi dajie with deshengmen nei. From that intersection walk ca 100 metres into Gu Lou Xi, on the Southern Side of the Street. Well-lit entrance with reception counter. Has English "Spa" words in the window.

ServiceL It is a place with lockers and showers downstairs, you change and then you move upstairs, through a dimly-lit relaxation room with many massage chairs and a tv. If you ordered a VIP room, you will be led through this relax room to the individual chambers. Regular Chinese massage comes at 80 RMB (45 min), the hanky-panky Thai Massage (?) used to come at 200 Yuan plus 38 for the VIP room for I think 45 Min. Establishment changed management or at least price list, at the end of 2009 I think they called it Korean (?). This gives you the desired oily rub-down, plus a conversation about other possible services. When I went, she offered 200 (hand), 400 (full), and I seem to remember also the 800 double-girl whopper. Cannot comment on those, as I only seek tender hands. The young lady was kind enough to reveal herself and from the taste of her enjoyed my feedback massage almost as much as I did enjoy hers.

Okay noob question;

Do most massage parlours, health spas in beijing provide extra service? Or only some (no name ones). How do you tell which ones have or not? I'd feel quite embarressed if I went to one and asked when they don't.

To me (newby in this board as well, Hi everybody!), part of the fun is to find out. Have a look at the place, book what looks like the dodgy massage, and see what happens. in early december, i found myself in beijing again. i decided to revisit the haishang yihe (galaxy on the sea) sauna right behind the zhongtu building (china civil engineering construction corp’s headquarters) at beifengwo (literally the northern beehive) not too far away from the western train station.
