Sammy and Intransit hold any direct or indirect ownership interest in the aforementioned Maggies, including without limitation stocks, shares, security agreements, chattel mortgages, or real estate mortgage agreements, nor do we hold, or are party to undertakings holding instruments, certificates or other documents at any time evidencing or otherwise relating to, governing or executed in connection with or as securities for a loan, including without limitation notes, bonds, loan agreements, letter of credit applications, lease finacing contracts, banker's acceptances, drafts, interest protection agreements, currency exchange agreements, repurchase agreements, reverse purchase agreements, guarantees, deeds of trust, mortgages, assignments, security agreements, pledges, subordination or priority agreements, lien priority agreements, undertakings, security instruments, certificates, documents, legal opinions, participation agreements and intercreditor agreements with the above captioned Maggie's or any owners, shareholders, partners, joint venturers, family members or any other companies or persons directly or indirectly connected therewith.

2.) Messrs. Sammy, Intransit and Zhuren have at no point in time received any financial interest derived from the business of the above captioned establishment. In the contrary, the aforementioned establishment has, over the years, derived substantial financial gain from the patronage of Messrs. Sammy, Intransit and Zhuren, sometimes without returning good value for monies received.

3.) Any statements contrary to the above are false. Messrs. Sammy, Intransit and Zhuren reserve their rights to vigorously defend their interests against slanderous or libelous allegations, including, but not limited to, subjecting the libelous or slanderous party to unspecified re-education measures.

4.) According to information and belief, even the "owners" of Maggie's do not own, but rent it. It's supposedly owned by the Father of All Nightclubs in Beijing

5.) It is true that from grossly overcharging formerly regular guests such as Sammy and myself, M's may have financed several months of mortgage payments for the renovation. Which was for naught as the establishment was closed on the day of its grand re-opening. To M's credit, the bill padding has stopped. It helps if you avoid the drinking girls.

6.) Intransit doesn't have any money to invest.

7.) Sammy hasn't been seen at M's (or in Beijing) for ages. Before he left, he talked about boycotting M's.

8.) Even if shares in M's would be available, I would short them. The prospects for M's get increasingly thinner as October looms. Look at the reports of the sausage to bun ratio. This is just the beginning.

Having said that, BJ, despite the enticing acronym, will be a bad place for the sport for a long time. Whether you are on the buy side or the sell side, your traffic is better directed elsewhere.

Ok being in Beijing without a long list of phone #s (or any phone #s actually) isn't very conductive to mongering.

Friday night: went to Park Hyatt around 11pm to check out the new club Xiu. The atmosphere was hopping, yet no WG in sight in this overwhelmingly civilian venue. Around midnight a very beautiful Chinese hottie came alone... wearing expensive jewelry, carrying a high-end LV bag, chatting up the laowais... but obviously looking for a rich foreign husband rather than a profitable evening.

With no WG prospect, at the end I decided to stay anyway; enjoyed the scene and partied with a group of young Chinese execs, figured maybe I'd get some phone #s for the future. Xiu verdict: stylish yet sterile, very friendly crowd, poor venue for mongering.

Saturday night: being a sucker for hot-model-types, I went to Passion (Great Wall Sheraton) around 11pm and hung out at the disco. An extremely sexy young thing -- straight from a Japanese AV wet dream -- stepped out from the "back room". I'd easily rate her 10/10 in looks, but before I could blink an eye, a Japanese-looking businessman was all over her and quickly sealed the deal (for an astronomical price, I'm sure.)

Scanning the room there was only one other girl I was interested in... tall sultry very beautiful Chinese model (I'd rate 9/10) who unfortunately didn't speak any English. Tried to enter negotiations through the bartender (big mistake)... wanted 5000 RMB for LT. I offered 2000 LT but obviously the gap was too large. She's really was beautiful but I wasn't in the mood to pay 5k and the night was still young.

Then to my dismay, another WG aggressively tried to sit down with me even when I said no. She tried to trick me into agreeing, saying "just sit down, ok?" while another bartender was already bringing out some snacks. When I asked how much, she said $100 US is her sit down fee. I wasn't interested in her at all but she wouldn't budge. At this point, disgusted, I just left.

Passion verdict: disappointing overall, not coming back unless I can charge someone else's expense account for the experience. I can be very generous but 5k LT is not in the budget.

Next stop, Maggies: Got there around midnight, as Njtraveller pointed out the sausage to gem ratio wasn't looking good. So I just sat at the bar for awhile, slowly nursing a Qingdao pijiu. A good looking Mongolian came in but she seemed more interested in chatting with her girlfriend than winning a customer. She disappeared after a few minutes. Around 1am more and more guys were coming in, yet there was ZERO Mongolian stunners who wasn't already with another customer. Ok decided to bail out.

The Den: well I thought I'd have another beer so stopped by the Den late, maybe around 1:30am. That one Mongolian hottie from Maggies was there, still chatting with her girlfriend, totally oblivious to the punters. Dunno maybe it's that time of the month for her. There were a couple other WGs hanging around but not quite up to quality standards. Finished my Stella and decided to call it a night.

Bottom line: two weekend nights, zero action. Yes my timing was horrible, can't blame anyone else, but I really didn't expect to totally strike out at all these Beijing venues!!

You know I have a soft spot for Russian. I was worried the quality might vanish early on Sunday evenings, so I hit Hollywood early to bust my first nut of the night. I may have set another record, in the door, bottle of water (1 minute because they are so damn slow returning the change), eyes adjust to light (45 seconds), make the approach: "hello, remember me? I went with your friend two weeks ago and I came back just for you. You go with me?" Out the door, total elapsed time about 6 minutes. If the taxi driver hadn't taken a wrong turn, I would have had her in my room 10 minutes later.

Maggie's was quieter later Sunday night, mostly small groups of friends, one expat birthday party, and no obvious mongers present. Low counts of northern sisters, but with a few real solid lookers. Chinese girls hovering nervously because of lack of traffic. Please, girls, don't tell me how to handle my stick at the billiards table.

First of all some props out to the regular contributors. I've been reading quite extensively during the last two months and have been a paying member since April. Sammy T deserving special credit for his report on available activities.

I live in Beijing since November '08 and have been taking my time before I decided to get to know the working girls scene a bit better.
