The price of 600 RMB was more than reasonable. You can even get it a little cheaper. I suggest that you leave your hotel and go to The Pig for Chinese, Hollywood for Russian and Maggies for Mongolian. A thread search for these places will tell you all you need to know.

I see two possible alternatives. One bring your own PJ's - good for return visitors. Put them on and walk right by them.The second alternative is to walk out, refuse the PJ's go back to your locker and start getting dressed.

I don't like the Chun Xiu at all - it is too hit and miss as to both quality and cleanliness. I prefer the Regency down at Guamao It works out to about 400Y per category more but is worth the extra. I have tried the 1260 and 1560 service and there is another level available for 1860 . The main difference is the size and quality of the rooms. Red Rope service is available in the higher level rooms.
