Overall, my verdict on Chengdu is this. For the 'high-end' market, the value is low, compared to other major Chinese cities like Beijing, Shanghai, or Shenzhen, and much of the action has been driven quasi-underground, whereas a few years ago things were much more in the open.

Waiwei (22806;22260 - This term literally means 'perimeter' or 'surroundings', and is used to refer to models and minor actresses who moonlight as expensive escorts. 'True' waiwei go for around RMB3000 - RMB5000 (90 minutes, 1 pop) in Chengdu, although the quality isn't as good as what I've had in the bigger cities. These days, a lot of higher-end prostitutes also call themselves 'waiwei', but they really are full-time (and fairly high volume, IE 5-7 customers / day) sex workers, going for around RMB 1600-2000 in Chengdu (90 minutes, 2 pops). What I usually do is add one of the 'mommies' on WeChat (you can find them through friends or through websites such as www.bashimm.com), then go through the photo galleries they link to in their WeChat Moments. The pictures are generally 'real', although touched up, and once you choose one you can request a brief video (35270;39057. There's all types of girls in those pictures, and some are quite attractive. Almost all of them are fairly young, 25 and under, although they have different levels of experience and are willing to provide different levels of service. Almost all of them have their own hotel rooms, and some will do outcall (although only to hotels, not to homes / apartments). Overnight will run you around RMB 4000-5000, and you can book them for 24 hours for around RMB 8000. Some of these girls (even the RMB 1600-2000 ones) are really, really hot. And I'm really picky! But even then, the price / value is significantly inferior to Shanghai / Beijing, IMO, and local friends have said the same thing to me.

KTV. This scene hasn't significantly changed since my last report several years ago, although prices have gone up and quality (imo) has gone down. Sitting fees now usually range from RMB 500 to RMB 700, with another tip of the same amount to the mommy (and the DJ / princess / whatever they want to call the person who helps you pick out songs). Rooms often have a minimum alcohol / food expenditure starting at RMB 1000 and going up depending on room size. Not all girls are willing to go back, so check with the mommy first (at some places, they can be differentiated by wristband colors); if they are, going back is usually around RMB 2000 for a quickie (you don't need to pay sitting fee on top of this) or RMB 2500 for an all-nighter, so most people opt for the latter. Places like 皇23478;19971;21495; (Royal Seven) on 槐26641;34903; are still around and kicking and have a strong selection of girls. Different places have different latitudes, with most places having mommy's leading nude / quasi-nude games at some point in time. Always fun with friends or Chinese business partners.

Sauna massages. The places I've been going to usually range in cost from RMB 400 - RMB 700; the low end usually just gives a HJ at the end of a massage, the high-end gives a BJ after all sorts of fun little activities like tongue catbaths, etc. Note.
