Spring Garden ( 满园春色 ) is located a little bit away from the city center at 88 JingJuSi West Road (where JingJuSi meets the Second Ring Road). In Chinese: 净居寺西街88号 [ 第十人民医院街 ]. This place is very tricky to find. The problem is that the street it is on, JingJuSi West Road, is not on any online map services. It's small offshoot road of JingJuSi Road itself. The taxi driver had a hard time finding it despite my having a detailed JPG of the sauna location. Unfortunately, at the time, I didn't have the phone number. Basically, once you reach the intersection where LongZhou Road, Second Ring Road, and JingJuSi road meet, you need to go southeast on JingJuSi road for around 300m (I think that corresponds to 2 blocks). You'll see the 10th People's Hospital ( 第十人民医院街 ) on your left, and there is a small street on the opposite side heading inwards. The spa is located near the end of that street.

I badly wanted to go here despite its distance from the city centre because they had advertised a "do whatever you want" service ( 为所欲为 ) for 998 RMB. Lately I've been sick and tired of girls refusing to do certain things (like a facial, DFK, anal, etc). When I arrived, I inquired about the service, and the staff confirmed that such a service existed and I could do a facial if I wanted, but unfortunately it was not available for a few weeks. My Chinese was not good enough to understand why the service would not be available now. As is the apparent standard in Chengdu, you tell them you're an internet sauna forum member and you get a 100 RMB discount, making my total 398 RMB for 90 minutes. Extremely reasonable and the best deal I have seen in Chengdu so far, given my experience. The building and facilities are great and modern. Nothing dirty, the bathroom area is brightly lit, furnishings are nice and clean. I suspect this is because the sauna is located in a newer part of the city or recently opened. the fragrant river spa ( 馨汇水疗 ) is located at 243 wuhouci street, on the 3rd floor. in chinese: ( 武侯祠大街243号（ 3楼 ）[ 钱柜歌城 ] ).

the building itself is a large series of shops, so you need to look for the? chinese characters. take the elevator up to the 3rd floor. wuhouci street is fairly centrally located, close to jin li alley, the famous tourist attraction. it's a fairly older facility and the inside is pretty dingy. i wouldn't recommend this place unless it's close by to where you are staying.

i got there at 9:30 in the morning, when a lot of the girls were getting off their night shifts. when i first entered the building i didn't notice the elevator and started climbing up the stairs. it got pretty dark pretty quickly and all beaten up walls and i thought the place had shut down until i noticed the elevator on the way out. when you get into the elevator there is a small blue plaque next to the button for the 3rd floor indicating that the sauna is there.

The Fontainebleau Spa ( 枫丹白露 ) is located at #2 Xiti North Rd ( 成都市西体北路2号 ). It is definitely one of the nicer options in Chengdu, and therefore slightly more expensive. I had read about this place on some Chinese forums and they had advertised a Russian service which I was very interested in. Before going, I had been communicating with one of the managers over SMS about this service.

From a sheer physical perspective this spa is probably one of the best you will find in Chengdu. The furnishings are new and very well laid out, the area is nice and large, and the staff service is excellent. In other words, this place had all the makings of what I had hoped would be a successful experience if not for one of my mistakes.

I had become so enthralled with the idea of fucking a Russian in China, but the reality was nowhere near the fantasy. First, because I had ordered a Russian, I had to wait around 45 minutes for her to arrive. That's not a big problem in itself. I'm willing to wait if things are good. The problem is that when she showed up she had a very poor attitude. She did not speak English or Chinese, only Russian, which itself is not a problem, but I'm assuming the staff were never able to train her because of the language barrier. There was no foreplay or arousal or anything, and she would only do CBJ. At this point I was pretty angry. I had paid almost double the normal rate so I could have a Russian and now I would have to put up with this shit. I don't know about you guys, but CBJ is totally worthless. This will be the first of a series of reports detailing my adventures in Chengdu.

The Moonlight Spa is located at 259 YiPinTianXia Road, at the corner of YingKang West road. In Chinese: 月光宝盒, 一品天下大街259号 ( 一品天下大街营康西路口 )

You will recognize it because it has a yellow crescent moon on the sign. It is a 15 minute cab ride away from Tianfu Square, and the taxi should cost approximately 20 RMB to get there. I was actually trying to go to another spa, the Kelly International Beach Club, but it was closed because of the crackdown, so I ended up at Moonlight, which is close by.

When you enter, you'll be seated on the couch with the plasma TV while they bring you your flip-flops. One of the staff will explain the options to you. My Chinese is not very good, so I only understood the default service of 100 minutes for the cost of 898 RMB. Also, if you can speak Chinese, and you tell them that you are a Chengdu Sauna Forum Member ( 成都桑拿论坛会员 ) you will be given a 100 RMB discount, making the total 798 RMB.

The building condition is pretty standard for Chengdu. The rooms are nice and large with an attached bathroom and shower area, with a stripper's pole in the corner. There is also a love chair with a live video camera if you want to watch yourself bang the woman. Unfortunately, Moonlight does not have a fishbowl, so you must wait while the women are brought in 3 at time.

I just got back from Chengdu and had a great time.

thanks to the forum, i was successful in my first trip to chengdu (and first trip to china in many years). i stayed in chengdu for 3 nights earlier in the month. and with the directions from the forum, i decided to go to the alley on renmin nan lu opposite to tiantiansijiao and close to the west gate of sichuan university.

there were about 5-10 shophouses in the alley. these are shops with glass door but those are shut and there were no lights from the shops. but there are guys on the street soliciting so it was quite easy.

i spoke limited mandarin chinese, which helped me scrape by. i doubt they would speak any english. in fact some of the girls there don't even speak mandarin. (but well, local dialect there is close enough to mandarin so we managed to communicate).

these guys will ask if you want to play and bring you into these shops. i was a little nervous at first (i was ripped off once in a ktv in beijing years ago). but things went quite smoothly, i went into several shops, each would have about 5 girls, mostly 5-6. this is at about 1am. i didnt like what i saw and told them i'll look around, left, continue to walk, another solicitor approached, looked, walked, no hassle.
