I'm in Guangzhou for a short vacation and I stayed at the South America Grand Hotel & Sauna, also called the Nanmei Osotto. After reading the forum I went to the sauna for a Thai massage, but I was not offered a HJ. I thought I could be doing something wrong, so a couple days later I tried the sauna again. This time I said Thai oil massage, and the organizing lady immediately said no oil. I still went in and received only a massage. I also saw a sign saying the hotel doesn't support prostitution. I'm really not sure if this place has gone clean or I was just doing things wrong. The sauna does have some really nice facilities compared to other saunas.

I tried the Yu Long sauna nearby on a Saturday night at 11PM, and I was the only soul in there. I made it to the massage room where 6/10 face, 6/10 body girl awaited. Got the fire/ice BJ and had sex in a few positions. Soon after I finished she told me my time was up at least 30 mins prematurely. I wasn't happy with the atmosphere, so I just left. Her attitude 4/10 and service 3/10.

I tried the Wa King sauna one afternoon and there was only massage girls in at that time. The mama-san told me to wait 30 mins and she would bring a girl in. After waiting I was greeted by a face 8/10 and 7/10 body girl. She gave me a massage and moved rooms to have sex. Various authors of travel guidebooks keep writing that single male travellers in China are virtually bombarded with phone calls on their in-room hotel telephones at night. - By girls willing to join you in your room.

Isn't that true? Or at least not true as far as Guangzhou is concerned? Any experiences?

It was true up until the Shanghai World Expo. During the Beijing Olympics, only the southern provinces were allowed to fuck. Now. Even the Guangzhou Jianshe Lu SWs are gone. China not so good. Wait until October.

I spent CNY two weeks in Guangzhou w/ co-mongers and wound up going back to local GFs met previously. You can try but newbies will be screwed.

Having said that, you can get what you want if you are persistent, crafty, and have $$$. Thailand. Philippines. Go somewhere else for now.

As for the GZ->ZH bus, key is to get on the business version, the red one, that leaves only from the East Train Station. Without the schedule, it is hard to know when though. It is much more comfortable then the regular one.


I will be in GZ late late Aug too, maybe we can go bar hunting together. Nobody reported on GZ recently since Solo, so no idea what is new, but Kama is usually the sure bet, or last resort. When you fail in other places, return to Kama, same for the WGs.

From my experience, the best looking WGs are in bars that do not make them look obvious, places like Baby Face, Paddy, Bound, but then, it is much harder to hit on them.

There are many bus service from Guangzhou city to Zhu Hai cost is about 75 rmb not 30 rmb ,the CTS bus from the China hotel is small and old try the bus station near the main train station there are about 3 bus service go to ZH .
