It takes both time and money, and there is a clear path in lending one of those really attractive girls, and it is called KTV. Thanks for the advice. As far as my experience reaches the regular dating sites seem to be the most reasonable way for having fun with a normal Chinese girl. The massage saloons provide IMHO totally degenerated form of man-woman relations. I tried KTV but if you are white guy they will treat you there as cash caw and want you to pay some exorbit bills of 1000 or even 2000 Euro for an evening. Regarding a simple "hooker" Europe or Canada are for a white guy much better value for the money than China. Most probably due to inflated image of a "rich" Westerner who unfortunatellly isn't as rich as the fame in Chine would like hime to be and also because the whole thing is illegal in China.

BTW. I did have a lot of fun in China unfortunatelly not as much with opposite sex as I was hoping for.

It takes both time and money, and there is a clear path in lending one of those really attractive girls, and it is called KTV. What happen is that high school dropout girls from inside China continue to flock to big coastal cities like Guangzhou to make some money quick, or to land a sugar daddy. The better looking ones all go work for some ktvs, since the promise was always that they are not prostitutes, they just need to sit and drink with customers. In big city like Guangzhou, KTV girls are indeed not easy to take home, that is why it is not just money, but time also, plus your ability to charm a young girl. If some of these young girls failed with KTV, namely not able to land a sugar daddy, not able to make enough money to go back home, then some will end up in saunas, so only the worst of the worst will end up working for an internet site to really become prostitutes in the traditional sense, and thus you will never find quality there. There are also girls who work in bars like KAMA, but usually very few Chinese girls, since again, they much prefer working in ktvs, so mostly foreign girls in bars. This is the case anywhere in China due to the same reason, like Manhattan in Shanghai and Maggies in Beijing.

Many people also reported success with freebies, so if you are white, freebies will be the simplest way to get quality girls, but again, that takes even more time, and easier in places in Beijing then in Guangzhou, since girls in GZ seem more interested in HongKong, Taiwan and Singapore guys, while BJ/SH girls are much more interested in trying out a westerner.

I don't mind dark skin, black or brown. Though I'm white and blond dark skin is not less valuable for me than the pale one. I know that for example in India lighter skin colour means automatically more beatiful but I couldn't care less. I don't mind paying either. If I get a good value for the money than we are all happy. I can also imagine that getting the reputation of the second Thailand or Philipines is probably something what Chinese people might not like, fair enough.

But what I do mind is a scam. I hate being cheated, misleaded and ripped off. And that is unfortunatelly a common practice when you try to get in contact with a Chinese girl in Guangzhou through an internet site.

I have tried to contact some local girls through the internet sites such as:

And all that appeared to be a scam. Even wen the ad says "real photo","100% real photo" they will send you some monster instead of the girl from the picture. I'd say that it would be 2/10. When I asked for replacement they would send me less ugly one but still appalling. I would say 3/10. I might like to have some fun but definetelly I'm not desperate.

Even though they were cheating me they still demanded form me something like 100 RMB costs for the taxi! They send you disgusting girl instead of the one of the photo and yet they want money or else they would not go away.

I don't know either where internet sites in Guangzhou are getting those exceptionally ugly girls from. When I walk on the streets of Guangzhou I see plenty of nice looking ladies. I would give to 80% of Guangzhou female population something like 7/10 or even 8/10.

Has anyone tried the Spa place at the Guangzhou hotel?

During my last trip I also noticed a sauna / spa place just round the corner from the Guangzhou hotel, on the Guangzhou Qiyi Road. They put up in English for Foot Massage and Body Massages and the photos they put up certainly suggest that there should be more on offer.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the time to investigate further either places, so if any bros has tried any of these 2 places or others nearby, please do share your experience! Thanks!

I'm new here. I have only recently started going to China for business; Last June I was in Guangzhou for my second time for business. I managed to wrap up all my work in 3 days which left me 2 days with nothing to do!

Like I said, I'm new to Guangzhou, and I had no idea where to go and where to look for info (I only discovered this forum a few weeks ago!) so I thought I tried the internet. Obviously plenty of choices. However I must point out, that before I came to Guangzhou, I was in Shenzhen for a few days; again new place to me and after work, I did try the internet to find entertainment. I was left quite disappointed; the girl who came was no the one on the photo and maybe just a 6/10. It took around 30 mins to get there from Beijing road. Stupid driver actually drop me off at the wrong place! Luckily I managed to find my way after several phone call to the English speaking lady from the spa who was very helpful. So in I went, to the locker room, drop my things in the locker, closed it, went into the shower area then I was given the obligatory pyjama and I was led into the dark large shall we say entertainment area where there was a bar, plenty of the lounge chair with TVs and several rooms for different purposes like eating, reading, table tennis.

So here I was, a 3rd generation overseas Chinese, not speaking a word of Mandarin / Chinese, and not knowing exactly what I should do as this is my first time here. Luckily the staff were quite helpful and did notice that I look lost. So one of the waitress took me to sit at one of the lounge tv chair and told me to wait. Then came this bloke who asked me what sort of massage I wanted, so I chose the Japanese massage which was the most expensive at RMB268. I was then taken upstairs into a room and waited.
