I have returned from a good visit to my regular stomping grounds, (there from 14 August until 27 August), and all is well. I don't post any "real" details as why "f" up a good thing. No doubt that the yanda may spread to the northern areas in China someday, but I for one, am not going to help the LE target anything. Paranoid? Yes!

All KTV, (my preference), are operating normally with girls brought into the rooms for your picking. As a note, the girls are separated for you so you know ahead of time who is available for Sit / ST / LT up front, no guesswork! Prices run from 2/6/8 to 4/8/12, I don't know of any higher. I went to four different KTV's on this trip. No problem taking girls back to your hotel, no room checks or other hassles.

I understand that the Bath Houses and Sauna's (not my thing), are operating with no problem with prices from 200 to 800 for FS. I am sure there is more to be had if a bit of exploring were done, but I am satisfied with the KTV's and the prices and girls there. A friend with me said he really couldn't find any girls to his liking after looking at up to 100 girls in multiple lineups. However, I will say that the girls he finally picked would never have been picked by me, you would have to have paid me to do them. Now this is good thing, as we will never have a conflict in choosing girls! Different tastes!

My general suggestion: Get out of "Dodge" and go North, West, East or wherever, just put some distance between you and the crackdown areas. Keep the information to yourself or give it to friends, don't post specifics, let interested parties PM you and give out the particulars if you feel the PM is legit. Mrclen.

That place still have one flight in and out daily? Anyway, I've been there a few times, and stayed at 5-star hotels every time. From my limited experience, every hotel spa offered FS either in the spa or in your room (up to you). One time, I stayed at the finest hotel in QHD and thought maybe the super fancy spa was legit, but still got FS (but it was expensive, like 800, whereas in these 2nd tier cities you can usually get laid for 150-200 even if you're a laowai). Anyway, I am not a fan of that city, so I stuck to the spas of the hotels I stayed in.

I am just back from a 10 day visit to my normal stomping ground in North China. (If you want to know where, PM me). I can confirm that it is business as normal with a small exceptions. I am mostly a KTV person so really can't give too much information on Sauna, Massage, BBS, etc, but understand they are operating but just a little on the down low. I heard of no hotel checks or room visits by LE anywhere in the area. No problem bringing a girl right through the front lobby!

I visited three KTV's while there and all was normal with girls in their uniforms, and available for take out. Not all of course, but I don't worry about that. My regular KTV in my hotel, splits the stock up so that there are three distinct categories. Not available, Short time, Long time, so you know exactly what you are choosing. My hotel prices are 300/600/900. One thing I did notice is that quantity and quality of girls seems to be down just a little, although as I am not that picky, it was fine for me. Just for general information, the highest prices I know of at the best (skimpily dressed) 4 or 5 star hotel is 300/700/1200, so the prices in this area are still reasonable.

My personal suggestion: Forget down south for now and find yourself someplace else to go. There is still action to be had and for less money. The money you can save from the current CP prices will pay for the airfare, etc, to go someplace where you can have some fun without worry. Keep your play information to yourself, don't give the LE any more help than you have to. If someone wants information, ask them to PM you and then make up your mind as to responding or giving out specifics. I know that the LE probably know all there is to know anyway, but why make their job any easier as they have a limited (number of LE available and why should we tell them where to go first? After talking to the hotel owner (my friend) , he said the girls will still come to the rooms and not to worry about late night knocking on the door. As I have been here for almost 10 days and not seen anything like that, I took him at his word and ordered up a double fly.

They showed up on time (9 pm) and while not what I would have picked from a lineup, at this point it was almost any port in a storm! Turned out they were fun, played some cards (strip) , drank some liquor and ended up three in my big bed! Did both with most of the usual stuff (1 was more accommodating than the other) , and slept until about 5 am. Typical phone call and then did one more and told them they could leave (I wanted to get some sleep anyway). Gave them 1000 RMB each that they seemed to be happy with and on a good note, they just took the money and didn't count it and put it in their purses.

Anyway, my friend says the KTV's, Sauna, and FS Massage is closed until further notice and he doesn't know when that will be! Reporting from up North, mrclen.
