I did find an extremely cute and hot young girl, but the regular massage price is 698, plus she would only give you HJ for an extra 300. Not worth it.

DM, I got burned a bunch too. My biggest mistake cost me and my friend about 15,000 RMB. Another time, it cost me and my SAME friend about 10,000 RMB. Each time, it involved being overcharged for drinks for the bar girls in some sleezy bar.

Thanks for the warning. This is the best way to get them back, which is to make sure they don't keep ripping off a bunch of people.

Twice it happened to me a while ago. Once near Hengshan road and another time near Nanjing East road. Stupid enough to think that I am King hence attracting beauties. But both time able to escape with around Rmb 1000 each where as the original bill was about 10,000. Lots of hassles and bargaining and using 110 and some patriotic themes like this is how Chinese behave etc etc. It may sound weird but it works at a time.

Just a couple of personal reviews.

I've been a regular, since years, of the spring on Wanping lu. Unfortunately but not surprisingly, it has suffered the same decay than any other place in the city. I used to enjoy young, friendly and easy-to-play-with girls some four or five years ago. They overcame a renovation right and reopened vegan right before covid, just to get back to business recently, but the quality is just not the same. Girls are much less cute, older, and don't give a fuck, no giggles and playing around anymore. The good thing is that at least you are provided a fantastic oil massage plus HJ without tip, but before they would let you play with them, and now they wouldn't unless there's extra paying. This said, there is one, whose number I could share, who would give you FS on the spot and would moan her lungs out. The regular price is 498, and the tip for FS would normally go up to 1 - 1,5 k. Don't feel so bad. I was once promised proper FS in a room, the lady claimed rooms are full and asked to do the deed in the waiting room on the sofa, no bed. I did and out goes the lady in comes a guy says the rate I paid was for lady, and I had to pay another 400 for the room and threatened me with violence. It was in a high rise apartment building so I was pretty far from any help. Had 110 ready to dial on my phone and started to walk to elevator, 2 guys were holding elevator door preventing me from leaving, I said I would pay 100 for the room otherwise I dial 110 we all go to police and threw 100 bill out from the elevator, close the door and left while they picked up the bill from ground. Close call. Hate those fucking scammers. In China it's about go in numbers. If 10 guys were to go together, they won't dare do anything.

Hmmm not sure about Manhattan, haven't been around long. The place I went to, I took picture of below. The drinks are ripoff and in hindsight they could have poured themselves water, when I bought them drinks. The prices are definitely steep, and yeh, you're likely to get scammed by their smart wording, blaming on language barrier.

It's blues bar, but there are two confusingly, the one on the left has many ladies, about 8 ready. The right one too, but I didn't go in.
