Could someone explain why there are still so many sauna advertisements on the local website (aishxxx) given the current weather.

Not that many "Sauna" advertised there anymore compared to what they used to have actually But yes there are still options to those ready to take the risk.

Regardless of "sauna" options there are many more options left in the MP area.

Saying we are regularly "detained" or stopped at the immigration is greatly exagerated. Foreigners are still welcomed.

Haven't been detained, nor friends here and if you say that regarding mongering yes we do risk being detained but so do locals so its not a foreigners thing, just a "going against the law" thing.
Same could happend in the US or other countries with laws against mongering.

I was under the impression "brothels" have all been shut down, from my experience I have only encountered barbarshops and KTV nothing like a western style bordello or a fish tank Thai style or a geylang type brothel even before the shutdowns. The closest would be what is found in Macau saunas.

Just need to navigate the local neighborhoods to find relief. Some members are concerned of being seen by the locals but I think that is a bit overrated. Most people are too busy to notice and if you are really concerned you can always go during the evening when it is dark outside. Biggest problem with the QQ option is finding the place in case the girl makes it complicated (vague description, not using the map function and photos) and of course the photo beautification (always subtract 1-2 points for the girl's looks in real life).

But sometimes there are additional roadblocks : girls asking upfront deposits (usually RMB 100) for the reservation of the time slot (via Wechat pay function), asking your mobile nr and even a photo of yourself for "confirmation". Whenever I encounter one of these conditions it is a no go for me and I cancel the class. I just wonder who would provide these to the girls. Also, if you are allergic like me, beware of girls keeping pets (they sometimes post them online but not always).

"Foreigners" are rarely invited, less often now with rise of nationalism and trade war. In the sex venues that are open to Foreigners (M, J's, massage, KTVs, etc.), we pay a hefty upcharge versus locals, especially if we don't speak Mandarin. I'm in Jiaxing now but ware in Shanghai for the weekend.

I've never been to Manha. Before so really don't know how it was earlier.

What I can tell you is that it's open and there are plenty of girls.

I came very late, around 2 am and I reccon there was about 15 girls there.

Starting prices was 2000 but I got a pretty good one for 1500 and she spent 2 hours with me.

Outside there was about 5 black girls but I didn't ask for prices.

This chain has gone through a few changes in recent years. Most recently, it seems that a tad more is on offer since the last crackdown, but prices have gone up since the recent reopenings. One guy reported that he got FS at the Madang location. During the recent closings, I met one girl from the Madang shop at her apartment for FS, but she still won't offer more than HJ at the shop. BBBJ is also available at the Jiangning location. But YMMV. It just depends on the girl. One girl at the Jiangning location quit when new girls there started offering BBBJ. 500 seems to be the standard tip for BBBJ. But paying 500+500 for massage and 5 minutes of BBBJ seems too much, and the massage just feels like a waste of time.
