If you don't want to worry about it, that's you. I stay at a nearby hotel. I walk into J's or M's. I pick the girl and walk back. No technology (other than the hotel hallway camera) to trace me.
Picking from J's or M's is definitely the most safe way than using escort website, LE can definitely get girls wechat you can get from same site and trace it if he wants.

Another vote for the pig. I've had a lot of smoked BBQ and they do pretty well far from home. Has the vibe changed? Yes. Do I miss that? Yes. But I do like the warmup.

Steve, hope we get to meet up there someday. Enough with the commercial! Back to the girls.

Sorry if I have made you upset, that was not my intention. Let me tell you I have been here in Shanghai for +5 years and played the game in many ways – incall, outcall, MP, you name it.

I also have been reading this forum (RTFF) for at least 5 years, but I can't recall reading about a normal customer getting because LE checked his WeChat. That was my reason for asking about it.

Well, you know it has happened, so I believe you.

So that is another good reason for giving especially you the advise, that using an alternative SIM card may not help you out if the LE really want to check you.

There are other ways to link your mobile phone to a specific WeChat conversation. The IMEI # is an obvious way.

Happy hunting, stay safe and good luck.

Personally I think life is too short to think of ways to hide from big brother anywhere in the world. You are not anonymous anywhere on earth. And you always make a footprint somewhere. So live with it.

We are all different my friend. I can introduce you to a bunch of long term SH expat residents who now never frequent BP since the change. But each to their own.

The Spot new location right next door to Judy's was absolutely hopping when first opened in May. You could not get a seat in there. July 6 which was first night Judy re-opening the place was deserted and they were all not next door in Judy's. Strange indeed.

Use of extra SIM card as precaution

I buy sim cards from hotel concierge, even if I'm not staying there. They're supposed to register you with your passport, but for 100 rmb many will just register it in a fake name (or their own name). Then you switch back and forth between your real account and the bogus one.

When the government arrests someone, 1st thing they do is investigate wechat conversations. Even if you delete a conversation, it's forever available to the government. Maybe I'm paranoid but prefer to err on the side of caution. Too many contributors to this thread have faced arrest and detention.

    Any positive experiences in MP?

    Hello,

Seems like the dry period is over, did anybody in the meantime have any positive reports about a MP with he (ideally in Jing'an but also others like 1565 Huashan Lu)?

I've read that spring is only accepted regulars, is this still valid or are they also accepting new customers now?

As I'm not sure if they will identify me as regular as I haven't been quite some time.

    Thanks!

If it's too good to be true, then it's too good to be true.

Anyway, I looked at it, and they all have the same WeChat and same phone number. So, here's what will happen: you contact them, and ask for person X, and they'll say sure. But the person that arrives is an ugly, fat, 45 year old. You're drink, so you just say WTF and proceed. But then she will up sell. Finally she will rush. I learned this from experience from using similar sites. But why not TOFTT?

    The M and J Buffet

Its one of the few places in the world that I can walk in a bar and be so "handsome" all the girls want me (haha I mean my wallet). IT's a fantasy and I swear I enjoy the shopping as much as the post shopping experience.

I hope to get back someday. Hopefully I still have the juice and the girls are still there by time I get there!
I am completely with you SamCan — the buffet experience at Manhattan is as much fun as the in room time. Each time I go I say "I am going to hold out for at least a half hour and enjoy the buffet" (of hotties) and every time within ten minutes I am smitten by some petite Viet lass and off we go. But I will keep trying! (As long as it's open).

Going to São Paulo soon and get a similar experience at the Boate. More in club time there. Brasileiras tend to be less pushy and you can have lots of dancing and flirting time before hittting the room. (No extra charge).

Thanks Alfonso; I only wanted to correct a minor detail. She is called Omochi. Old mongerers know her by Kim.
