At both Judy's and Manhattan the girls I chose quoted 1500 and same for my wing man Chris. It appeared to be the going rate with no negotiation. As SamCan says I have no doubt you could counter and depending on the girl she would take it. We were ready to roll so we did not counter and were both happy with our four sessions between us all at 1500.

1500 is the price for 1 shot or overnight?

I was at both M and J last night (Friday night). At 11 pm M was packed and no seats were available. I did a lap around and saw some ok looking girls. Plenty of thin girls but quite a few with serious plastic surgery. A few girls came up to introduce themselves but weren't pushy and walked away quickly when I declined their company. They also had a live band for those interested in that. Had 1 tsingtao beer for 50 rmb and left for J.

J was a much bigger bar, draft tiger beer was 45 rmb. Quality of women seemed lower. Quite a few more older ladies.

What time do most of the ladies start arriving? If I plan to go M at 8 pm is that too early? Will the place be empty?

I was at Judy's 2 months ago in February. For one shot I paid 1000-1200 for just about any girl I was interested in. The only ones that wanted more were some Columbians (white girls) at 2000. I was horny and paid 1200 to the first girl the first night without negotiating. I was then the 1200 guy and all girls wanted 1200. I did pick up a cute spinner for 1200/ two shots. She was angry because I had paid her friend 1400. That however included taxi to pudong which was 100 each way. No girl gave me a hard time at 1200 at judy's.

I have a 1000/2 shot rule that I think still works at judy's for more than half the girls. I didn't know when I was going to make it back to shanghai. I was more interested in variety so I was willing to pay 1000-1200 for one early in the night and go back to pick up and do it again with another later.

At Manhattan's, the hottest girl in the place approached me and said her price was 2000. (thin viet about 5'10, golden tan probably from a tanning bed, with long blonde hair to her waist, Hair I assumed dyed but extremely well done and looked appropriate.). I don't know if I could have got her for 1500 but I was popped out after a long week and had nothing left to pop.

Prices seem to start at 2500 but seems they would drop to 2000 after the first "no". Back at Judy's prices seem the same at first but they seemed more negotiable. Can't complain with either places in fact I usually start at one then bounce to the other if I don't like the vibe I go back to the original places again. Here's a bit of advice the taxi's at both locations are all trying to scam riders by either not using the meter or the meter is rigged to run fast. I think if you walk around the corner of the street and catch a taxi as it's coming by they are more legit. One thing I notice was the police would walk the beat up and down the street maybe to just keep an eye on things.

I have heard that Manhattans and judy's is all men last night with no girls to be seen.

The bartender at Manhattans said Judy's was raided the night before. It's still going on. Sorry that's all the details I have.

I will be very interested in hearing the status of Manhattans and Judys. Traveled to Shanghai 2 other times for work and this trip will be the first one alone.
