Not sure what that means to the current chances of being busted. Please advise!

Not sure if you are a BBS or Sauna guy but there is 1 BBS inside the Hong Qiao airport hotel. Either from the airport or outside parking, you can walk into the hotel lobby, walk toward the elevators in the back of the lobby. There is a hair salon which offers massage. The girls are pretty obviously offering other things.

Around the HQ airport area there are tons of BBS and Saunas. Just start canvasing up and down the roads surrounding that area. You will surely find what you want.

Yes it is a higher price than a chines girl on a bike or a chinese street walker that would agree to sex in a park. But inside the bars on Tongren if you ask a girl to give a price for LT, the 1st quote will probably be around 2000 RMB. It does not matter where the girl comes from. chinese, viet, philippines. if you want cheap try a bbs.

800 is just a reasonable amount that most filipinas would agree to. a few might hold out for 1000. if they like you, theyre drunk, they really need money, maybe you could get LT for 600 but probably the 1st girl you ask for 600 will say no and spread the word youre cheap.

for me i think the price is reasonable for LT for a horny filipina, it usually means 2 pops at night and one in the morning. not sure about ST because I never do.

This sounds like a thuggy variant of the "Shanghai Teahouse Scam," where some pretty young thing shows you around town and finally to a teahouse, where she orders things off a Chinese menu you can't read and are presented with an astronomical bill. I think I've heard of people involving the police and/or their credit-card companies to get the charge nullified.

Too all of you that have offered some advice on this subject, looks like the CC company is going to remove the charge. What a relief! I'm no longer in Shanghai, but will be again for a few months early next year. Never again will I get into something that hasn't been discussed here.

tried out a crusty sauna place opposite crowne plaza hotel puxi. have no idea of the side street, but the hotel/theatre complex also fronts xinhua lu.

I see a few scam reports, so I will report some past experiences and near misses.

1. I was walking around some BBS which was near a construction area. Some woman on a bike rode by and ask if I want to massage. She only asked for 50rmb which was the first tip off.

I followed her with my guard up. Into some local klaptrap housing, in a room, locked the door and it had a very "romantic" decorated bed. She told me to undress, lay down and start the massage. I told her to lay undress and lay down first. She continually pushed me to and not her. I knew this was a scam so just as I collect my things and open the door, another Chinese guy was tryong to quietly open the door. If I was lucky the worst would have been that he would steal my stuff, or not lucky he would try to threaten me. I walked out just as he was trying to walk in and he was surprised to see me. Be on high alert following girls into places you are not familiar.

2. Recently on Chang Hua rd, I met several bike girls. One really cute one. They asked me to follow them but I wouldn't. 2 of them agreed to find anyplace, hotel, my room, outside and they can do the deed. In this case maybe it is safer since they are not bringing you to a preset rip off place.

3. Another time I did a Tong Ren lu I picked up some street girl and we went to a secluded place in a park. After doing her doggie, I noticed my 1, 200rmb gone from my pocket. I checked her pockets and bag and nothing.

Later I realized that as she was bent over, she can dig in my pocket, shove it in her socks and I would never notice. Now I move my money and phone to either a shirt or jacket pocket where she can't reach it.

There are tea house, and KTV scams which I have been lucky to avoid.

I gave Wullumuqi Bei Lu 209 a try today. Its convenient to the subway and the room is pretty comfortable. The selection of girls was not so great and could not see 61 around. So I took a shot at number 5. She brought in a friend number 8 who seemed much more into me than number 5. I was thinking if I should switch girls at that point but not sure how that would go over.

Number 5 went through the routine and got the job done, but can't rank it too high. Might have to go back and try out another girl in the future.
