Maria: She lives in a large stand-alone building on a busy intersection. The first floor of the building is a bunch of small businesses. Entrance into the building is in the back. She lives alone, so no need to worry about a shared bathroom or a roommate. I don't recall there being any security. The elevator does not require a key card. So, you just enter and go up the elevator and knock on her door.

Omochi: She will only provide an intersection or a nearby place outside to meet. Maybe she does this to screen us, but not sure. Anyway, I'm happy that she's careful. She has a roommate, so you should give her significant advance notice so that she can make whatever arrangements with her roommate. Her stand-alone building is on a pretty busy street. There's no security. But either she has to let you into the front gate, or she will buzz you in. Her place is nice. She has a cat in case you're allergic.

Mimi: On her profile, it doesn't say that she offers incall. But she can borrow her friend's place for 200 rmb. So, you need to add 200 rmb to the usual fee. Not sure how long this option is going to last, because the apartment seems un-rented for now, and that could change soon. Right now, the place is practically empty. It's a service apartment. There is a security, but he does not care. Mimi told me it is because he has no idea who lives in the building. The elevator does not require a key card.

A couple of days ago, I booked a room at Henshan Hotel in Xujiahui. One thing I like about this hotel is there are several staircases leading up to all the floors, so no need to use the elevator. However, there was security everywhere. Not only at the front entrance to the hotel, but there were several security on every floor too, and also security even on every staircase between floors. Outside the hotel, there were police everywhere, and many were doing random identification checks on drivers when they were stopped at red lights. It was crazy. I asked my "GF" what was going on, and I guess the bigwigs from the capital are in town, and they're going to leave this weekend. So hopefully LE activity will settle down.

One was near the Guilin Road metro station, next to a bank building. He even helped me to enter the location on Baidu in Chinese, what a gent. Went there, the place was closed, second place though was amazing. Near the French Concession there's a SPA with neon lights. Went in, got led upstairs by the Papasan who then called in some of the most gorgeous girls I have ever met, each 8's or 10's, soft spoken beauties. They came in Stars or 'Xins'. The higher the rating, the higher the price, but in my opinion, even the 500 rmb girls are almost as pretty as the 1500 rmb girls. I got the 1000 rmb girls, and got all my needs met, one of the best massages and pop I ever had.

I could tell everyone is wary though, they even put a huge bolt on the door that could only be opened from the inside, and a door jammer. So that tells you something.

Another day, another spa. Got recognized by the bellboy again and asked him for a recommendation, the trick to striking up a conversation with bellboys or taxi drivers is to ask what's there to do for fun, or better yet, offer them a cigarette and talk in the back, out of earshot of the managers. Same modus operandi, guy called me a cab, talked to the driver in mandarin and off we went. Had a bit of an embarrassing moment because I needed the papasan to give more specific directions, so the bellboy gave me the number, had me call the papasan, who then talked to the driver so he knew where to let me alight. Once I got off, the papasan comes out and confirms you are the guy on the phone, takes you in, and this time the girls were let in one by one. This place, Chinese name that I can't read, had more mature girls who were most definitely mothers, albeit young ones.

One seemed chirpy and smiled at me, so I chose her. Again the same old type of massage where you end up on all fours while she attacks your grapes like low hanging fruit, except this one stuck her fingers in my ass. Anyways, as above, I would say that Shanghai's talent are scarce, and to fuck a real Chinese woman and not a filipino / viet / thai etc is something that takes more research. Be wary and don't do anything too stupid, even the locals are afraid. One way to ask is 'Feng Lai LE Ma?' , meaning 'Is the wind coming? The 'Wind' is a metaphor for the cops.

Just seconding this post. Three months ago I let my guard down (what was I thinking, I've been in China for over 5 years) and followed a tout. I guess she seemed harmless as a 50-year-old local lady. Quoted me a very cheap price, walked like 10 blocks, got to a KTV looking place. After the service (which wasn't bad), a guy stepped in to ask me how it was. Then he blocked the door and demanded 30,000 RMB, demanded me to open my wallet. I told him I'd go to an ATM and withdraw money, but 30,000 RMB wasn't happening. He made all kinds of threats, physically shoved me around some. After a good half hour they agreed to follow me to an ATM. I don't think they're in the business of killing anyone be / see it's not profitable. But seriously not a good feeling. Stay vigilant out there.

There is a pretty good dodgy KTV open for business where I know one of the mamasan's. Have been there twice over the last year or so. Quality can vary quite a bit, but we twice got a decent litter (about 20-25) to pick from. Earlier can offer more of a selection, but even that can vary. Occasionally I saw some stunners walking through the hallway. Damage was about 7000 RMB total last time for 3 of us (3500 room, tips for 3 girls + the waitress, mamasan etc expecting tips) Depending on the weather, they do some hot dancing and you get to grope aplenty in the dark at some points. Takeout was usually not a problem, about 1200-1500 RMB.

I'd rather not point out where it is, but if there is enough interest (say 4 people or more), I'd be happy to organize a trip over there if we can find an agreed upon date. PM me if you are interested and we'll go from there.
