Tried another girl from AISH.

Yes MPs could they be legit or provide extras are going to ask you in most cases for either a alipay / city QRCode to be green or for you to scan the QRCode from your mobile operator to show you've been in the city for 14 days or more. And then they're going to check for your temperature.

That being said, these MPs are not getting your private info, you are the one scanning or just updating the info you display on your phone. They aren't getting anything from you. But alipay and your phone company knows you've been in this area. Yeah well again nothing new, your geoloc infos are being tracked all the time anyway.

The only real issue you can be worried about is that if contamination happens either to you or to the MP the link between you and the place will be made more public than you may want it to be. That being said, that's why I wouldn't go to anything else than a MP because at least you can somewhat pretend you were having a legit massage. In other venues it gets harder to even pretend that.

As for being welcomed or not. I've been to 5 different MPs from 3 different chains the past couple months and while a couple asked questions of how long I've been in China for recently, the girls in the room are much more relaxed than the front desk. I usually cover the topic at the begining of the session myself to relax them too.

Pretty much all the MP SPA chains which have been reported here in the past year with locations in Jing'an, Xintiandi, or Changning districts are back to business.

Some girls only get 1 or 2 customer a day so seeing you is actually great news for them.
