I know China quite well and never had or heard about such king of aggression and violence in Sauna or MP. I considered to go to the police station, but I was leaving China the following days, and was just afraid that the process take time and delay my departure, or having problem with the police cause the aggression occurred in a massage parlor.

Well, I just want to share my bad and expensive experience. Just remember that zero risk doesn't exist. Be safe and take care.

Basically, shanghai is the new Dongguan, sort of speak. Consider it as Dongguan jr. The services still doesn't rank up to what was once DG but quantity is aplenty compared to other major cities.
