Bur she did contact me with an interesting proposal: she could fly over, stay with me for a week, only with me and fly back. Any thoughts in the forum about this proposition? Anyone did it before?

That doesn't sound too unusual overall. This number's from a few years back, but I think it used to cost 10 k a month to effectively hire a mistress, plus living expenses if they had their own place.

As a duly unusual request pre-shutdown, 3 different MP girls asked if they could stay with me since with their shops locked up they had nowhere to stay. I suppose it's hard going back home and explaining how their jobs allowed them to just take off for an extended break. 2 basically proposed acting as live-in wives including cooking and cleaning (meh), and the third said she'd be bring 2 friends (such a better offer).

Couldn't agree to it for all kinds of reasons: not knowing for how long, wondering what they do all day while you're working, explaining the new faces coming in and out when you live in a small neighborhood where everyone knows each other. And also having to pay for it again once they go back to their shops. Or how they'd react if you ever went there and picked someone else, and now they even know where you live. All very messy business, though I'll always wonder what life would have been like living with a trio of 20-some year olds.

Guess it's time to see if any of them are reopened now.

There's one in Changning close to Jing'an, SW intersection of Zhenning Rd and Yan'an Xi Rd. He on the offering, they also offer outcall if you are close, where you can try your luck for more with the girl.

Hopefully they will all reopen. But who knows what they will reopen as. The last time MPs reopened after a crackdown, the prices at many places were higher and the "extra" menu options were fewer. Some places simply decided to sell their business and the new owner reopened as a legit shop. Let's see.

I have 2 WeChat accounts. One is based on a registered cell phone number, and the other I use for the mongering. For the past couple of months, the latter account has been acting up. It's probably also best to not reveal our addresses and definitely wise not to discuss arrangements on WeChat.

They don't need to hack, they have full read access already, LOL.

I have never tried this service, but it may be legit and here's why: I know a freelance pimp. She is familiar with, or searches for, many high-end hotties on Chinese escort sites, and she contacts them and tells them that she can advertise them to foreigners, but she asks for a 30% finder's fee. But these gals are expensive. At least 5000 rmb per hour. Not exaggerating.

What's the background of crackdown all locations and then accepting stepwise the reopen?

Do the reported crackdowns mean Shanghai is a no-go for mongering or are there still enough freelancers in the nightclub? Shanghai is huge, if only the massage parlors and some bars have been cracked down, there should still be many hookers left? Or did prices go up insanely high, like $300?

There is still sauna available (I know of one at the outer limits of Shanghai last station of a metro line), there are still appartment girls, there are still some shops providing underground service for old customers (either through main door locked / unlocked upon request or in most cases through back door), there are still girls delivery options, etc.

That being said you need to speak chinese and have done your homework in the past to be connected to most options and noone is going to publish specific options in the open or to a 2 post user.

Hell regarding the sauna or few shops who offer service to old customers I wouldn't send anyone there since all it takes is an anonymous tip from a competitor, displeased customer or neighbour to be arrested and most likely deported considering the current situation.

Hi guys,

Just registered on the forum after a few weeks as a guest viewer. Thanks for all the insights provided.

My recent experiences:

Last action was a month ago in my usual go to HJ MP at Jiashan Rd, and that was already sort of messy with strict policy toward wearing shorts, and only 1 shower available for the whole MP.

Tried to get back there 2 or 3 times over the last month, was still opened but they only provided foot massage (was not really in the mood).

Been back on Sunday and that was now closed. Managed to talk with someone through the locked glass door and they say they were handling some renovations. Classic excuse lately as per other members reports.

Also tried to get actions from other MP I was a regular in:

- Spring Massage at Madang Road: Could spot old & ugly masseuses upstairs, which prevented me to go for it, as normally this place has nicer ones. They were still offering the massage at 388 RMB though, so could have lead to some little action.

- Sunny Massage at People Square: this one is on the fancy side so I thought it could still be opened / have made the cut as it also offers regular massage.
