I have often observed that both J and M were closed for various reasons while The Spot was open.

The location of The Spot may be a little confusing because there are (or were) misleading signs leading to their new location.

From the old location of The Spot you could be mislead to think that it moved next to Judith. It was located there for a very short period. Now it is on the other direction on Tongren Lu. CNow it is right at the corner of Tongren Lu and Nanjing Lu.

BTW, I often have had success finding nice ladies there. The atmosphere at Spot is a little more relaxed because it is both a Sports Bar, a restaurant (which is much better than at its old location. I have met both Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese ladies there with good results. This place is more relaxed for a flirt, a talk and a catch. Another thing is that it is not crowded with the type of Chinese men known from J&M.

I am sure that both J and M will be closed some days during Chinese New Year. Then a good alternative can be The Spot. But of course you may risk that all places will be closed the first 2-4 days after CNY.

There was a bar called THE SPOT who appears to be somehow related to J&the but it also relocated to another place. I went to the new one but it was closed as well.

Found provider Wenli in Shanghai on the Classified Ads thread, and contacted her on WhatsApp. She claimed to be out of town, and recommended a friend. Her name was Xiao Ye, a spinner who's pics showed her clothed, but she looked promising. I asked if she provided GFE, and I was told yes. Agreed to 1300 RMB for one hour. Good report, KID. Yes, the 496 option is off menu. You have to explicitly ask for it. Yes, some of these gals are available for takeout overnight. Yes, they upsell on the oil, which always annoys me. As promised, my field report after my week here. First time posting a report so please excuse any mistakes.

As soon as I said 496, she knew exactly what I was talking about and she said that yes, it is still available but there will be a small surcharge of 20 due to the Lunar Year so 516 in total.

I accepted and I was escorted upstairs.
