I have been to Shanghai once before and we did spend a couple nights drinking in XinTianDi; there were definitely Chinese working girls at the bar at Paulaner (I got in a bit of trouble with the SO for flirting with one of them!) , although they weren't exactly top-shelf. Paulaner was also full of tables of Chinese girls who I wasn't sure about, maybe working, maybe not, maybe just out partying but definitely giving me lots of smiles and even one offer to join two of them for a beer.

We also went to an upscale club directly across the way with live music, can't recall the name, but it was quite nice and there was one table of two drop-dead gorgeous Chinese girls who I suspected were working. Maybe "suspecting" in this case could be more accurately described as "hoping to dear god"! LOL.

XTD is definitely on my list when I go back, and Paulaner will be my first stop.

I don't know who told you that Hai long offer Red rope most place in Shanghai don't anymore, the one that still have them do a lousy job anyway the old Shanghai sauna use be the best one the girl there offer good red rope service but it been closed for a long time now.

Best to stick with XinTianDi and not French Concession, it's a bit of a stretch to say XinTianDi is located there.

I'll be spending a couple weeks on holiday in China soon and I'm trying to put together an itinerary for myself, specifically how much time to devote to Shanghai. I'll start off by saying that Shanghai is my least favorite city in China, although I've only spent a few days there and I wasn't able to "play" at all. But I'm flying in to PVG, so I think at least a couple days is warranted. My preference is very strongly for pick up bars, with outcall and maybe hotel massage distant second choices. I have no interest in BBS or incall massage. Just not my preference. I know Shanghai has Manhattan's, Judy's, etc, but I'm wondering what the options for bar pickups are like in Suzhou. From lurking on that forum I gather there are at least a few bars where working girls hang out, and compared to what I read about the Shanghai bars Suzhou sounds a lot mellower (which I like). Between the two cities I have 5 nights so. 3 in Shanghai. 2 in Suzhou? Or 2 in Shanghai. 3 in Suzhou? I should also not that I have a strong preference for Chinese vs. SE Asian providers, and I understand the Shanghai bar scene is largely the latter. I don't know about Suzhou. Will cross-post in that forum as well to get some info from the regulars and locals there.

In Shanghai I have barely seen good looking p4p girls from China, at least in the typial spots like manhatten, malones, zapatas.

There are good looking girls in the bars in the tong mill but you might spent 2000 rmb on drinks without getting nowhere.

The only bar where you are 100% certain what you get is manhatten, but almost 0 Chinese in there.

Hmm. You need to get the QQ numbers of the girls from the forum first and add her to chat and figure out the location, services and price. Typically, it's 300 400 a pop. The process won't be easy without some Mandarin skill.

Visited Hai Long as I was hoping to get first time red rope experience (tried 999, Sarcosa before). Reached there about 9:00 PM. After shower was brought to fish bowl. Asked for red rope both the man and the girl. Either they didn't understand or they didn't want to understand. Girl no 780 a bit chubby, what I didn't mind.
