Long time follower, first time poster. I saw your message and I thought it was about time to give back to the community. Hope you find some useful information on my post.

Here are a few of the places I can recommend in ChangNing. First one is on Suicheng Lu not far from Carrefour. It used to be part of the Sp**g Massage chain.

One block south of Carrefour you can see a BeerPlus. Take the north-west entrance of the building (entrance is on the right when looking at BeerPlus from the small square with the clock) and take elevator to second floor. It's not in the hotel's interest to turn in their guests to the police, with the level of seeming hesitance to do so bumping up a bit at foreign hotel brands, especially more highly-regarded ones. That is in no way a grant of immunity. They're not going to protect you for one second if there's an incident that requires police involvement, such as you and the girl get into an argument, or one of you is injured, or there is theft of property.

If your room is reserved for two people, then if possible have her check-in when you do. While there is no law or rule against non-married couples sharing a hotel room anymore, the late-night arrival of a previously unregistered guest will certainly raise more eyebrows.

You should assume that your anonymity is compromised, period. It's just a matter if anyone cares or not.
