East China - Shanghai

As a follow up to my own report, and having made a return visit to Shanghai after 6 months absense one other highly noticable fact was that sex on the street was being offered everywhere. Went to see some work colleagues in Westin and 5 guys and 2 girls are all offering me " services".

Walked to Roosevelt Bar on Bund and sure enough every 50 metres some guy with a bad haircut and even worse English would pipe up " Mister, want massagee, want sex massagee, want blow job massagee ". One chap even came up and asked " What you want ". I replied " nothing". This confused him quite a lot LOL.

Anyways its really quite open now in whats offered on the street. Reminds me of Sri Lanka a long time ago where any guy who looked like a tourist would be offered sex outside every hotel, and on every street corner.

Hadn't been to shanghai for 6 months so was happy to have a trip there. Used to live there but many of my old haunts, particulalrly the old BBS have long since gone it seems. However on arrival was happy to find Peacock (1449 Damuqiou Xietu road) still there. I got to know the American manager at a hotel in Qingdao. She told me that the computer in the hotel was connected by modem to the police computer. Your information is sent directly and immediately to the police. What they do with it, I don't know. It could be like a lot of information in China. So much is gathered that proper analysis is impossible, but that may not be the case here. Maybe their database management immediately makes a connection to your data and alerts them that you are in a hotel.

You will not get a good recommendation here in the forum, I think. First in Manhattan Club all girls are half price from the escort agencies here in Shanghai. Second a lot of saunas offer a reliable service for a reasonable price, so if someone know the scene in Shanghai, he will think there is a better way to have fun than meet a escort.

What you can expect from a escort agency:

- Don`t expect a real "escort" experience. - The agency normally will agree a rate on the phone (sometimes very low) , but when the girls show up, they will try a hard upselling, so final price for a short time will not be lower than 1000 to 1500 (for this you can get a overnight from Manhattan girls or two sessions in a sauna). For longer time you will have to pay 2000 to 3000 RMB, so also same you spend for two girls in Manhattan for overnight!

- Definitly don`t trust any ad on craigslist or similar ad page, because all private girls there (and I mean ALL) use faked pictures, most of them are agencies, so you will have a 0, 01 % chance to get what you selected!

But when you register and are living in China (resident visa in passport) , what home address do you provide, you make something up or provide a foreign address, I mean they can see you live in China. Just want to avoid any mistakes and be safe. Thanks for helping me to explore new frontiers.

Your resident visa in your passport is tied to the information you gave the PSB when you registered your local residential address, so the short answer is it doesn't matter what address you give the hotel because your real address is already connected on the back end.

I think that whatever you out in, If they want to investigate further, they simply in out the passare number in their database and see all about it and how you got in and why you are in China. 2. On what you guys call raids, more like a check up. Who knows what the real reason is. This is China. I have been in the room with the girl twice when something like this happens. The lights blink on and off. The girls are prepared. You get dressed in what they gave you when you entered the establishment. They lead you to the wait room. Some guys have a smoke, others drink tea or whatever. 15 to 20 minutes later the girl or one of the guys take you back to the room. Be cool with it. The third time I had called the girl. I had an sm that said no. I got to the second floor. You guys ever notice that every establishment is not on the ground floor. And the usual guys had additional personal present who were talking with them. I returned to the elevator, took it back to street level, had a coffee, and about 30 minutes later got another sm with an OK.

3. The girls are concerned about 'security'. The security they are concerned about comes from some clients who are abusive. You have a couple options: 1. Don't go; 2. Check with you favorite MP boss and get the low-down. If the shop is well connected, they will know about LE activity; 3. Go off site. Either to her place or yours. I prefer the latter as it leads to FS.

You arte still being caught in what is considered a *****house. That would be a crime back home no matter what you did or not.

ALL MP's are totally legit, and have a licence to operate, it is therefore, definitely not illegal to be found in a MP. I am aware of 3 licences being suspended, however I understand that in Pudong, over 100 MP's have sufferred the same fate, according to local press.
