Although I am not a senior member, I found my way through all posts and have now a fair idea what the city has to offer.

What I find most annoying is the search engine of this site. You often see "RTFF" but this takes really too much time to find something sepcific.

Different sections could indeed be helpful or just a better search engine with the request to the contributors to put in the title of their message: the type and name of the location they visited / have a question about.

Another option is to have 1 thread with 1 complete list of all known places: type - name - location - short remark.

I.E.

1. Sauna - Shanghai Hotel Sauna - Wulumuqi lu 505 - Easy place to access, nice selection of girls, red rope service, 700RMB

2. BBS - ...

Etc etc.

Your hotel will be likely "Gubei" Garden, not "Gumbei". There are ZILLIONS of posts in this Board on getting laid or accessing all kinds of services in the Honqiao area. Please do your duty (and do us a favour) and RTFF. If you ask, you have simply not searched.

Anyway, you'll not be in the center of action, as reported in this Forum...... IMHO.

Now that I think of it, could we, SH regulars, write a series of no-brainer guides by neighbourhood? It's true newbies do not prepare their homework, but, to their credit, having only an "East China-Shanghai" header for a 20 Million pax city is not convenient, either? This city is bigger than many European countries?

I have located a generic Cialis. It is made from sildenafil citrate, the same as the prescription brand in the USA, but it is significantly cheaper. As you may realize, authentic Cialis costs about 500 RMB for 5 pills – about 100 RMB per pill. The generic is only 30 RMB per pill, and comes in a bottle of 10 – 300 RMB.

That's twice as much 'bang' for less than half the cost.

I use this myself, and I am quite pleased with it. The effects last for about 24 hours (not the 72 advertised on the bottle) and I can repeat my performances pretty much as often as I like.

Granted, this particular 'generic' is not FDA approved, but other expats in the area have used it quite a bit – it is how I learned of it. Still, keep in mind the same precautions you would observe with any supplement.

I've noticed it can also be embarrassing to visit one of these stores as an expat – you stand out, and the ever-helpful a-yis are suggesting all manner of items. Plus, I have found that if you do not speak much Chinese you are not certain what you will get.

The following info is from the pills that Slower Better bought for us at the wholesale sex instrument/sex aid market in Guangzhou.

First, Please note that GENUINE Cialis (which I buy through my doctor in Hong Kong) contains Tadalafil and the maximum dosage of a Lilly genuine product is 20 mg.

Chinese made Shanchai (or imitation) Cialis - supposedly made either by Lilly Icos or Lieet Icos - should also contains this Tadalafil - and comes either in bottles of 10 tablets marked C50 (indicating 50 mg supposedly) or in boxes of four individually blister packed 20 mg pills.

Sildenafil citrate - what you say is in your Cialis pills - is actually what is in Viagra tablets. By the way, my Shanchai Viagra tablets even has that hologram sticker - which changes from Pfizer and Vagra depending on what angel you look at it - to make it look very very close to the genuine product.

The Cialis packaging is not that good and the Green color of the genuine Cialis product, is more brown than green on the Shanchai product. By the way, Slower Better got the above products for us at way way much cheaper prices.

I'd however be careful on this stuff. Last Viagra I bought over the counter at a reputable pharmacy was fake. Got dizzy on taking a pop, dry mouth,etc. Really freaked out.... Regular drugs are often fake here (last week 2 deaths reported by the newspaper on a diabetes drug...), be really careful with this kind of stuff.....

FYI, "Wei Ge" is Chinese for Viagra so I do not think he means cannabis (marajuana) though some people may beg to differ as their is some medicinal value in the latter. If you smoke that then may have a stiff tongue

They would have to have some training first.

Anyways if you're heading north on jiangning road and you drive past kangding road, then changpin road, you'll cross another one (haifang road I think), then in between the next block on the left you'll see a massage place. It'll have a sign dealing with "men's massage, health center" etc.

Anyways, I went into a room where there was a nice old style large wood bathtub, a separate shower, and the massage table. THe rooms are pretty good sized and nice. Out came the menu that was pretty extensive. There were all kinds of Men's treatment (even gay masseuse since the guy asked me what I wanted). That should give you the clue that there is anal play. There's one where they use toys on your "area" as well as a full on gloved with lube prostate massage / HJ. They even do enemas. (sorry to ruin the moment).

Anyways, it's a spa treatment facility only for men so you get the drift. The masseuse also wears lingerie while doing it all (for an extra charge).

I have been "massaged" 10 years long all over China and I did not get any real prostate massage. Even when sometimes it is on the menu, the masseuse only rubbed my anus with oiled fingers (it feels like AR) or, in one case, entered and pumped a little with her finger. But she did not really try to massage my prostate. I got an impression that in China, prostate massage is understood as rubbing the anus with lubricated fingers (like AR).

To be honest, I never got a real prostate massage in my life. So if any one knows where I can get this in ANY city in China, I would be very thankful.

Spurred by someone's report on Tertiary style massage place, I went in search. After some confusion I eventually found it. Take the Line 2 to Loushanguan Road, get out and head NORTH. BEFORE you get to Changning Lu, you'll see this place on the right. It's open 24 hrs and the damage is RMB239 for the good stuff (the massage is called a "kidney massage" or something). The girls aren't anything to write home about, but they get the job done. The room has a shower which is the added value over your run of the mill BBS. The massage is 90 minutes and there was no solicitation for/possibility of additional services. But you really won't want to with these girls, they aren't that enticing. Anyway, if you're looking to shave some RMBs off your Tertiary bill, this is the place.

BTW, the Tongqinyuan Massage Palace, written about in May last year, is open. Didn't check it out, but saw people going in. Looks interesting.

For me Sacrosa, Shanghai Hotel and Zhong Tian sauna work fine in English.

The girls however: you have to be lucky. There is I think no place in Shanghai where you can be sure the girl speaks English.
