A few experiences I would like to share from the site Massage Republic. Had a visit from Kaory, in my hotel. A mature Colombian lady, at least her fotos were accurate. In her add it was 1500 including owo. Did some weChatting, where she started at 2000. We agreed on 1500 plus taxi, still overpriced. Other than her add: owo was only after extra payment. Kind of kills the encounter. Not a repeat business.

From Massage Republic I tried as well 'Pretty Mature Lady', again a miss match. Hardly any English, massage was all right, sex was not with the details that we agreed on: no CIM etc.

The only good deals I found were in Manhattan and Judys, you get to talk to the girls first, then negotiate the details and usually they keep their word. Most of the girls are from VietNam. My taste is more for the older ladies, but are hard to find.

I would advise against it. Who know what hidden cams the landlord may have concealed. There is no concept of privacy in China.

I've spent the last few months building relationships with girls at massage parlors. Regular visits, consistent tips and a smiling demeanor has served me well.

First off, just wanted to everyone who has been posting in the last few months. I'm coming to Shanghai next week and this thread has been invaluable. Planning to try out M and Js. Most the time the airbnb hosts don't live close by so it isn't a problem and they don't really ask questions. Another big issue is since it doesn't tell you exactly where the location is you can end up in a very inconvenient place, thin walls or a lot of neighbors. In my experience it is better to book a larger apartment or house as smaller apartments you'll be able to hear the neighbors and they will of course be able to hear you.

Most the time you will only meet the host when you arrive if the place is hard to find or you need to get a key.

Always moving from location to location, under radar, hotel likes the $ and if totally discrete no complaints from guest far safer too?

I've used these a couple of times now and had very good service! The contact will generally meet you at a convenience store near by and take you into the hotel or to the floor that they've occupied. Then they'll get you to choose. Sorry no gold fosh bowl with lights and music! But good eye to eye contact with the spinners!

Cat rub is vertical in the bath tub! So not great! Prices are higher, all the services are the same. Just try to make sure that the room is clean and has fresh towels!

I'll be at the hotel Equatorial next Friday. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for great MPs nearby? Looking for something that's maybe open late on Friday and walking distance. I don't speak Chinese.

There used to be a couple of places in the lane behind the Equatorial and one of them offered some pretty good spinners offering a cat rub followed by FS for ¥500. But they're closed now and the lane is part of a 2-3 star hotel. I've been tempted to go explore inside the new hotel because this is the kind of place within which all these MPs have moved. Do go in an explore and let us know.

Great insights! Thanks, Boag. I will try it out. I notice that many places are offered by 3rd party service providers. For example, when I did some searching, I found that there was a service provider who was renting rooms on behalf of about 20 room / apt / home owners. They look like they know how to run a business and so this may help with quality of experience and place. But I will find out. Thanks again, Boag.

I have now been turned down at 2ST hotels recently. The last time I was turned down at a ST hotel was during the crackdown. So I am thinking about using Airbnb, which is operating in many big cities in China, including Shanghai. Some of these places don't even require a face-to-face check-in. They have key-coded locks. And they are cheap. Anyone have any experience with using Airbnb to rendezvous with WGs? Any catches, warnings, risks, suggestions? I know there are local Chinese apps doing the same thing, but I want to stick to Airbnb because it's in English and I trust Airbnb. Thanks, bros.

Hit Shanghai and took the maglev in, this time tried the subway to people's square. Was much quicker than a cab. I had a few saved wechat addresses from my last trip and seeking arrangement tried one, and started a chat but she was non committal. So headed out to Zapatas one of my old stomping grounds from years gone by that used to have semi pros in abundance. This Tuesday night non were present but there was a large crowd of western college chick's enjoying the taco buffet and bottomless margaritas. Would highly recommend the food and hooch for 30 bucks. But I wanted a playmate was just getting ready to head to the pig, when wechat range and my polish model decided to play. Had a nice although expensive time with her. Noticed that the Marriott bar had a couple of free Lancers in it which is a first. Also the number of hustlers on Nanjing road was way down perhaps due to being Tuesday night. I posted 6 months or so ago about a MP on Fahuazhen near. It's hard to find (I recall Midwestern had a problem finding), as there isn't an obvious sign. Address is 869, I think. Not marked, but 867 is next door. A door with a guy behind a desk, not visible from the street.

Massages at 279 and 369; 369 includes he with girl nude and body rub. Rooms have a shower and are relatively clean.

The girls are variable quality. Seem to be country girls with baby damage. I've been there maybe 6 times. Of these, only 1 did not offer FS and she had excellent other skills. Today girl offered FS, but prices seem to have gone up. Couldn't get her off 500, where early this year got 300 without much negotiation.
