East China - Shanghai

I often quietly read the forum and wonder if I live in the same Shanghai as some other guys that post here. Posts about Manhattans, saunas and such all at hugely inflated Laowai prices. I speak reasonable Chinese and can get a 2 hour massage with hand job for 80 rmb with hot girls in 20's. If I want take out then I privately arrange with the girl for about 300 rmb. I live in Pudong and although there's not as much action as in Puxi, it is less pressured and easier to build a relationship with the girls. I chat on weixin in Chinese and had 4 freebies in a week until my regular girlfriend returned and I had to slow down.

Where in Pudong can we still get a RMB 80 HJ service, please enlighten me. Thanks!

You misunderstand my fellow frugal friend. He never focused about freebies. He is taking about paying the ladies as close to market price. Paying 2000-3000 is fine so long it equates to a fine lady. If your going to slam a auntie than price should reflect it.

Good point about the credit card. I had not thought of that! Definitely possible! And very wise advice about counting out the RMB on the 'counter'!

A good friend of mine was staying in HK with his wife, and took a quick trip to Shenzhen with business colleagues. I understand he paid for his sauna / massage services on his credit card. At 6:00am the next morning his bank rang him and asked him if the transaction was fraudulent. He had the phone on speakerphone and his wife heard the conversation!

The ANZ bank (Australia) looks for dubious credit card transactions, and checks suspicious ones by phone with the cardholder! This transaction was flagged as suspicious because the guy had never had any China transactions before. A good service, but embarrassing in this case!

Rather foolish to use the speakerphone, I never do!

The challenge is in my humble opinion with both the price and quality. It's difficult to get both together with seasoned international hookers and so I don't waste my time with them. The odd occasion when chatting to the girls at massage draws a blank is treated simply as free Chinese.

My point gentlemen is that there is no great victory in screwing a hooker. The challenge is in my humble opinion with both the price and quality.

Some of us making a living in USD or Euros don't really want to spend the effort to meet your challenge. Our great victories are won at home via our careers and landing a hot 23yo willling to do pervy things with us for what at home is a meager amount is the spoils of winning the real challenge. Not the challenge itself.

Fair enough but as many only occasionally visit Shangai and for a few days they have to make a living with what they can put together in those few days (or hours as often only the night hours are "free")

So, as much as some places have Laowai inflated prices those are the places where the visitor / traveller can get some action.

Had been to Shanghai during June of last year and had a good couple of sessions at Sarcosa. I read one of the recent posts indicating that Sarcosa is closed now. Can fellow mongers confirm this? May need to find another spot then for my upcoming visit.

I called the number of the manager, Sarcosa is open now, but they did not tell me the charge.

Anybody got any information on the Lotus club in Pudong, located on Pujian lu and S. Pudong lu, across from Sheraton.

I don't find any MP or sauna called He Hua (lotus) on Pujian lu and S. Pudong lu on the Baidu map. Maybe the Lotus club just opened.

Any information on the Spa at the Greenland Jiulong Hotel in Shanghai?

Some girls only call you and tell you they miss you when they need something or some money. Refusal doesn't stop them; in another 6 months they will send you another text!

So true! I remember when it was nearing the end with my particular girlfriend. Yes, I looked forward to getting to shanghai to have sex with this girl 28 years younger than me. The problem was I stayed a week and she moved in with me for the week. I was ready for her to leave by the second night! When reading the comments about expensive freebies, I'm reminded of the famous story back in the 1990s when it was revealed that the younger, handsome movie star Charlie Sheen was paying hookers $1, 000 or more to have sex with him.
