Used to have a membership card there (Massage + BBBJ for 258 RMB) but after the management changed they wouldn't accept it any longer and quoted the full price (around 350 now). Also the service quality wasn't too impressive. Or maybe I was just unlucky.

I'm surprised to read that "cash only" is a deal killer for you. In my 30+ years of mongering, I've always paid cash, every time. IMHO it's just not worth the risks to use a credit card, both for the possibility of misuse / identity theft and for the paper trail that is created.

Plus it helps keep this hobby under control. If I did charge freely, I might be happier but more broke than I already am.

I am just not accustomed to having a huge wad of cash in my wallet.

An admitted new guy. Go get a good HJ. Pay a lot if you have to. So the little guy can think more straight. From then on push for more, , I had a girl want 500 for a HJ. I had had so many girls by then, I almost didn't care if I got off. She needed the money more than I needed the pop. I started to pull the blue shorts up. I would also add Bodi to the list as the #1 sauna in Shanghai followed by Siyuan. For third place, hard to say, but Hailang is a good choice. I don't know Heting. Yes, girls are fewer during CNY, but they are still there. Siyuan will have about 20 girls working over the holiday.

I would like to second your recommendations with some reservations.

I too have not heard anything good about Sacrosa for awhile.

I've only been there once, and never returned.

But I am a frequent customer of SiYuan which is near by.

Bodi may be the top sauna in Pudong, but I can't say that for all of Shanghai.

I have not been to Hailang either, so I can't comment on that.

But for a fact I know that Southern (Nanfang) and New Jade Screen (Xinyunping) have a lot more to offer in terms of girl selection.

I hope the waiting line is a lot lesser during the CNY period.

I have not been to Heting for at least two years so this is based on old memory and a lot may be changed.

Heting no doubt offers great service.

I have many fond memories (7 years now) from that location and the alley way Mp on Wuning Road(at the corner of Wanhangdu Rd in Jingan) with the same owner. I'm always interested in which providers are the most open to roaming and DATY. I even got BBBJ there in November and DATY with two if them. If course prices will go up. One gal told me the difference between the 208 and 258 oily was a better quality oil. What a scam. Still I will return to sample the wares.

Also went to Hailang spa today at like 2pm. Using QQ's equivalent of Google's street view, I was checking a strip in Baoshan district to see if one particular shop was still active.

Here is an advice for all who are looking for FS but don't want to pay the sauna fees.

There are plenty of massage shops at Hongsong Road between Hongjing Road and Jinhui Road. In total around 15 to 20. They offer massage and FS (60min / 1 pop) for 400. The rooms are comparable to the normal massage places with separate shower. Okay, to be honest the massage quality is not the best but we are not going there for this. Even at this time of the year still plenty of girls to choose from.

This might be a area to go if you think BBS is too crappy and sauna too expensive.

Does anyone know a similar shop at Xujiahui? Or at least a MP that offers BJ.
