I'm not a Shanghai regular (only been a couple times in the past few years) , but I wouldn't write-off Paulaner quite so quickly.

Agreed, do not write off Paulaner to quickly. Good beer, great live band. I agree with you on the warnings about Paulaner, at least to be careful. I've had some bad experiences there on previous visits to Shanghai. As to transexuals, you will also see them at Judy's and in the back of Manhattan, so not all that uncommon.

Hi. Where are you staying? As to your original question, I know of only one place where BJ is "on the menu". At almost every other place, it's YMMV. I find the best thing to do is to build a relationship and work your way up. I can say that it's possible at pretty much any massage place. Try looking and you shall find. Looking back through your posts I see 14 asking for information but nothing ever giving back or sharing what you find in places. Do you ever follow through?
