The Hilton posted a notice by their elevators regarding the new policy for hotels during the Expo. It states clearly the policy will be in effect during the expo.

All hotel guest must show a valid ID when registering (this is nothing new), and any guest need to show their ID too. This is at any hour if they demand it.

It clearly states that no guest will be allowed up to the rooms after 11PM. Before 11PM they must show their ID, but must leave by 11PM.

I stated earlier last week my friend brought a girl back, and it was after 11. And they asked her for her ID, and let her go with him. Maybe because this policy is not officially in place until during the Expo? If you have a steady girl, I think there is no problem if she is registered with you to the room. But for ons, it could get difficult.

Going with my wife in shanghai for the universal exposition ,i try to find a 4 or 5 stars hotel which has a spa-massage inside the hotel and where i could get a happy ending.

But maybe ,because the exposition ,all the massage are now totally legit?

Went back to the Shanghai Hotel on Friday night (26-Mar-2010). They were renovating the lobby but I was still able to get to the 2nd floor by going through the alternate entrance.

Pretty much same experience as last time (In February). 750rmb. After my shower I asked for the previous girl I had (#8) but was told she was not working that night. I picked #1 (Lilly or Li Li) from the fishbowl (There were 6-7 girls mostly 8-9's).

I went to G18 around the same time on Saturday 27/3/10...

The lights were off as well. I spoke with the doorman and was let in either way. Basically, they've had several raids in a row. They are running a much more underground operation right now. Was brought in (whole place was dimmed), took to the fishbowl, and told that they do a "express meal" where you can have a girl for $600, but there would be no soapie... Are you sure about the timing? I was at Manhattan both Friday and Saturday night around 1200-0100 and on both occasions the place was full with Philippinas (well, at least 20 or so)

I am not a bar guy, although I live in China for a few years now, almost never go to bar.

I decided about 2 weeks ago to go to Manhattan, but actually I had the old address and found a closed place. Judy was very close so there I went.

I went there last week (Frieday), with my Filipino friend, was supposed to be a Filipino band at 10 pm. We arrived at 11 and stayed to 12. The place looks nice, but it was dead. Maybe 20. 25 people there. Headed out to Malones. Were the band is always good.
