Posts: 61Thanks for input Monkey... one more question.....
I have only been to LA Cafe. It is 2000 takeout and a bill for night of say 1100- 1500. Someitmes I go to little KTV near Renaissance Yagntze. Cannot remember the name but it is there in bright lights.. Will publish upon my return, where I sit at bar, eat some nuts, and mama brings small lineup out for me to choose from. Have drink at bar and then leave with her for 900 LT if I recall. All kind of foggy, since I end there drunk, having struck out on freebie chases.
Just wondering if anyone can let me know of a few god KTV places that are either reasonable or have little bar where you can get lineup experience without loneliness and cost of one in a room.
Thanks in advance, and if any Bros looking for KTV pals, I'm in the city from Friday to Tuesday. Send me a note.
Thanks all.

Posts: 61Are Saunas all now open (and safe) re - crackdown ?
On my way to Shanghai and then CP. Whilst in SHH, hoping to do Zapata's, Bourbon Street, as well as at least one of the three AsianFriendfinder girls (30+) I have on the go( damn 24 yr old seems on to me....) Of course I've tried this route before Zaps, AFF, and on the off nights end up at my fave sauna(s).
Are they still safe given recent crackdowns ?
I'm thinking
Sarcosa - will be new experience for me
Tian Hao - like the costumes
Buo Duo - treat me well and costumes
999 - new to me try this trip
and of course my old fave Yu Ping which I think is closed or relocated and used to be near Renaissance Yangtze Hotel.
Can anyone please advise at earliest convenience if they know of any issues ?
Thanks,

I don't know of anything full service within walking distance of the IBIS. For good full service you should get into a cab and head over to Sacrosa, Merry Lin or Marriott Courtyard (search the forum for details).
I have had one friend stay at the IBIS and he will not stay there again but he usually stays at the Radisson or the Novotel so IBIS is a big step down.

This may be old news to some of you but I just noticed that the JinQiao hotel is gone and with it the 24 hour spa located there. That is a shame. It was the only place in Pudong that I knew of that could handle a before work quickie at 7AM.

This is my first visit to china and hence would appreciate any specific suggestions on places near to this hotel and about this hotel as well.
