I posted this in the Shanghai Hotels thread, but got only one feedack. I am reposting here in case others folks could help. Sorry in advance for any thread mispost.

Renaissance Hotels:

Since there aren’t many references to the Renaissance hotels on this thread and I have to stay at a Renaissance during my trip to Shanghai, could anyone familiar with these hotels recommend one over the others?

My choices are

Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel
Renaissance Shanghai Yuyuan Hotel
Renaissance Shanghai Pudong Hotel

While the availability of surrounding, in-hotel and in-room services are considerations, they are not the only ones; I am also interested in proximity to interesting parts of town, walkability, relative safety, etc.

Any feedback would greatly be appreciated.

None are ideal but Zhongshan park keeps you most central. You'll still need to taxi about and judging by experience that could be several taxis to din somewhere open.

Many of the saunas are still open, but they have stopped taking in foreign guests. I am Chinese so it is easier for me to get in still. The regulars one I visit I just need to call the mamasan or my favourite girls on their cell phone ahead. Otherwise if you just turn up without calling then they will just offer regular massage.

Finally made it to Shanghai. First trip was cancelled by my company, but now I'm here. And naturally I wanted to discover the side of this city which is so good descibed here.

Bad thing however is that my company located me in the worst area where you can be. Huangpu has not much action, not takin into account the streetguys and girl on Nanying Lu. I have received your message; do not go with them.

So today then the Sauna. Tomas Jeffersen reported that a lot of sauna's were closed, so the logical choise was Sacrosa. For newcommers (like me) it is a good idea to have your hotel write down a location nearby for the taxi.

I let them drop me of at the intersection of Zangyang road and Dongfang road. From there I found it very easy to find Sacrosa although I was a bit doubtfull when I stood in front of the place. But ok, walk back towards the river untill you get to the crossing of Pudong Road. You will see a lot of expensive looking shops. Go north a bit. If you like me do not speak ANY Chinese, watch out for Wagas. You will find it to your right, can't miss it. You then can either go through the mall next to it, but I found it easier to walk around it. So face wagas and then walk around the building counterclockwise. You cannot miss the Steakhouse king and the UBC coffe shop. In the middle is the entrance with above it a big round window. There are porters in front of the entrance and I was wandering if I was in the right place. But the guy came up to me and looked at my piece of paper where I had written down the route and describtion I got from this side (very usefull guy's. A big thanks)

The saw just one word Sacrose and he showed me the elevator and pushed for me the right button. I was there! Very nice place. Looks very good

Now my biggest problem is the language. I don't speak it and that is a handicap in this place. None of the girls did and should I know some Chinese, then I would have gotten better service. I also expected some kind of fishbowl. But no; a lineup of about 6 very goodlooking women.

My choise was number 123. Don't aks me the name please. She had beautifull hair and a beautifull smile. Looks definatelly 9 plus. Small but firm tits.

The service was good, but I could tell she was a real pro. Did not let me come to familiar. No kissing (damn and I like that som much). But the massage was good, the warm and cold water supricingly pleasant and she was very tight. A full 90 minutes of pleasure without getting it to a real GFE unfortunally. As I said, my language was a real problem.

Total damage 560 RMB, which for this service is reasonable I think. If it felt less proffesional, I would have gladly pay more.

Would I go back? Perhpas if I was longer in Shanghai. I have a week and I think I would rather check out other places.

I also tried to find some BBS, but could not find any. I did write down a couple of pointers from this side, but no luck.

I understand from the conversations here that a lot is going away or closing, but there should be some left.

Can any of you point me to an area where I still can find some nice BBS? Also a sauna where there is a little more service, like real GFE, roleplay. (I love uniforms). Love to experience a soapy

My hotel is unfortunally not girl friendly, so I have to take my pleasure outside. What are your best recommendations.

As most of us know, most of the shanghai sauna places are closed right now, can we please compile a up to date list with the saunas that are still open? And if you can please include the address as there are many newbies here, thanks.

I'll start of first, shanghai hotel sauna closed, motel 168 sauna still open but only have around 6-7 girls, quality 5-7.

Purely out of selfless interests to add to the wealth of knowledge on ISG, WSG and myself ventured far out into the what was once wilderness of the village.

What we discovered both shocked and appalled us in equal measures. Well, more so me considering that WSG had never known the former glory that once was The Village.

Yes, what was once streets lined with pink BBS's and chock full of farm girls is now dens of weird old dudes playing mazhong, Watson's stores, and freshly developed apartment complexes. It looks like they are even building a lovely park for the kiddies as well.

I was there last week and yes. 99% closed. There is a shop near Lianhua lu/luoxio lu which was still open but with poor selection.

I saw a few posts about Happy town. From what I have been noticing, it is pretty much closed down except the BBBJ shop which is open only until 7pm.

Sometimes shops have girls in and they are "closed" but if you can see thru the doors and see if anyone is inside maybe you can get lucky.

Can you provide exact directions to this Wuzhong Lu BBS strip. Much Obliged.

Head to tthe corner of Wuzhong lu and Sonyuan lu. Go south along Wuzhong lu away from Xujiahui lu (btw someone was shot dead in the kfc at xujiahui yesterday) on the right side of the roads d. You only need to go 40m or so from Songyuan lu and the strip begins. There is a volvo office on the corner. Not sure if its an actual showroom though.

A handfull of bbs shops are there and they look like proper barber shops more than bbs. Each shop the girls wear a different uniform/dress. I've been twice and both girls I had from different shops were from Fujian, so maybe all the shops are owned together?

The cool girl I found was in the first shop, nearest volvo office, where they wear blue/purple dresses.
