If you speak Chinese and are brave (maybe foolhardy), there are still some FS action saunas in some of the old villages that are around (such as the ones near Sha Tsui village and a few other places that have been identified here about 18 - 24 months ago).
Best of luck!

Does any one have a recommendation for a hotel close to the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center where they have a good FS spa or close-by action spots?

Posts: 42Seriously nothing going on in Futian?
Hi experts,
Is Eddie right that there is no hotel floor or spa or bar equipped with chances for action in Futian? I can hardly believe this.
Please let me take part of your knowledge! Will be there end of this month. Hardy.

Posts: 1009Christmas and New Year Period
BTW Christmas and New Year (IE Jan 1), is an ideal time to visit Shenzhen. None of the migrant workers have start started on their hometown trip for Chinese New Year (Jan 27) / Spring Festival, and many normally non WGs are packing the KTVs etc to earn some extra cash to take home. Even bars are a good place to find SYTs. An added advantage is that some of the workers get one or two days holidays over the Christmas period so if you find a gem, you might be able to spend a bit more time with her. And being winter, the poor girls who live in unheated dormitories love to cuddle up in a comfy hotel room. And don't stay at a Chinese 4 star hotel or less. They have air conditioning but no heating.

I was WeChatting with my partner this morning as she is in SZ, en route to her hometown (outside of Changde in Hunan province). She says that the crowds of travelers are unbelievable, and New Years Day is still another 7 or so days away. Probably the peak time for travel is right now. She has a Business Class seat (not sure what type of CRH she is on). I know that it is just terminology, but I always find it strange that First class seats are much cheaper than Business Class!
I am presently in Brisbane, Australia having hospital operations to rectify a couple of problems which have worsened over the years. They have been the direct result of a career path that I took (or more correctly was picked for me by the governments of Australia and the USA) after graduation. Anyway, I am having a couple of operations on my left knee and right hand (mainly tendons and cartilage replacements). No, its not because of that! I am left handed, and I don't need to used both hands!
I regret that I cannot get back to Shenzhen this year and have a reunion with some old colleagues in HK and SZ. They have found plenty of apartment brothels (even in Luohu). Language is of course the problem as touts are now very cautious about open activities, with LE still keeping a eye on things. But apparently some of the old protection rackets have restarted, with money going up the chain. And saunas and KTVs seem to be back in full swing in Luohu.
BTW, most posters these days use the term BBS to refer to places where a tout or mama leads the punter to an apartment building. I reckon that these places should be referred to as apartment brothels, distinguishing them from the genuine BBS.
A few of my friends (Wechat colleagues) who I met through on ISG, used to post info on ISG. They gave up posting when they failed to get feedback on their discoveries. They also felt their contributions were perhaps ignored because they were mixed in with so many rubbish posts with lack of detail, many inaccuracies and conflicting claims. It is a pity that the SZ forum is not more active because there is plenty of action in SZ.
They also felt that ISG members visiting SZ expected to be spoon fed, even after the (ongoing) '3 vices' campaign started. Nowadays discretion, a bit of research, some Chinese language capability, and being repeat customers overcomes any problems. They estimate that there are more than 5,000 WGs in Luohu (whose population is 1,000,000). So even during Spring Festival our hobby can be practiced with those girls who permanently live in SZ or, who cannot afford to go to their home town. Remember, most businesses still have to operate during the holiday period.
Interestingly, the population of SZ does not drop as much as one would expect during the Spring Festival. Because of the horrendous mass migration, a significant number of parents / grandparents travel to SZ to be together with their children, reversing the direction of the migration. During the Spring Festival, the very larger number of elderly people (and who looked like rural people) accompanied by younger adults and toddlers, has been very noticeable over the last 7-8 years.
Back in Australia, as an interesting side note, I observed in the CBD of Brisbane 5 large buses disgorging a load of maybe 300 young Japanese tourists, of whom 75% were female. They were the most anorexic airport girls 飞机场 (fēijī chǎng)) that I have ever seen, and not one could be termed chubby. They made Chinese girls look positively buxom. This look is the latest Japanese fad apparently. I wonder if it will spread to China as Kungfubellies seem to becoming more and more prevalent these days, just like the JolliBeebellies in PI.
Ikksman.
P.S. Has anybody found an Android replacement for FakeGPS which will work with WeChat?

For whatever reason it was a very bad time to go to Shenzhen. I could not get a straight answer why not many girls there. I am talking about Luohu district. Just a few touts out. I found probably about 6 total compared to the 30 touts I am used to seeing even last year. I am sure I will get hate mail from guys that don't monger saying they never see 30 touts. Exactly they don't monger and don't know where to look. All the touts were pitching for the same 10 girls. Nothing great. Some say they left because of Christmas other because of New Year. It does not matter. What matters is don't go during this month. The massage places were also alive and well and many customers. I left early and headed for Thailand.

Has any member here experienced a genuine "One Dragon" service at a sauna / spa in Shenzhen?
Does it follow a specific set and timed routine (90 minutes to 2 hours) or can it be a set of 16 to 20 different techniques that are sometime offered on sauna menus. I do not remember reading posts of the "One Dragon" service here.
Any more information regarding the services (yes I know it always includes fire and ice and other common techniques) would be appreciated.
