Catalogs are not the actual product and will probably be the wave of the future for fake shit. All those shops have small warehouses located behind the Shangri-La Hotel.

Went out last evening and first tried ShaZui, but it was pretty dead there. I could have tried to get a mama to line something up, but I prefer to shop for myself. So I caught a taxi to Seibu and was shocked to see how dead it is there. No girl shops open. After a tour of the area to confirm it was dead, I took one last pass to see if it would be worth coming back to later. Luckly I saw a mama who asked me if I was looking, told her I was and we went up stairs to a flat with the girls in one room. She had about 6 girl available and they were pretty nice looking bunch. Picked Xiao Liu from Hunan who was fun. I liked that she was the type that did not mind being 'warmed up' a bit first with a bit of play (no kissing though), since I like that also. Normal 150 rmb confirmed at the start, though I gave a small tip of 15 rmb which she appreciated. She would not have been my first pick as she was rather short and maybe only a B cup girl, but as usual sometimes you get better service from the less stunning looking girls.

Posts: 321Old timer Weelock is correct - Be careful boys
my taiwanese friends told me to be very careful and don't venture outside hotel at night in dg. as for sz, avoid not so well lit alleys and walkways. it's well publicized in taiwan and hk press.
now is the worst time when migrant workers need extra rmb to return home. gong an is pretty worthless when it comes to tracking down migrant thieves. leave credit card and don't carry too much cash when you venture out.
in fact many of the local residents are targeted with thieves stealing mobile phones and wallets. don't resist and give everything you've got. many are amateurs and you don't want them to wield their knife by confronting them. buddy of mine thought he was a hero by chasing after pickpocket using screwdriver as weapon in zh. that was dumb move to get his wallet back as many of these criminals operate in teams.
my ktv friend told me that even their colleague steal from pretty popular girls raking in the rmb. they would call the girl out to their flat or alley and couple of touts will threaten to [CodeWord123] unless ktv girls gives everything she has. these brazen thieves will even follow ktv girls to their flats to steal more.

Crime is mainly due the all the poor migrant working coming from other parts of China to the South to work in the factories. It gets worst just before Chinese New Year. Crocks try to get more just before going back home for the New Year. I was told Dongguan County is the worst place for crime rate. Dongguan is far worst than Shenzhen because to get into Shenzhen ( SAR ) you generally need a pass.
Before they installed cameras on buses, gangs would hold up entire buses to rob passengers. Then scams, like fake land, job offers and housing sales.
If you are a white guy, it is generally safer. It’s mainly because of language barriers and the consequences. Like if anything happened to a white guy, like being murdered, the police will make a point to the public to never happen again. With the Olympics coming up, the gov't will want China to be must safer for foreigners. They surely don't want any bad international new.
A white guy is NOT immune. I have read and heard some little stuff. For example, a white guy picked up a girl and three or four guy came in the hotel room later. Then some pick pocketing of money. These are from previous posts and what I heard.

"The resulting rootlessness has fed a wave of crime of a sort hardly ever seen elsewhere in China. Gunfights, kidnappings and gang warfare are rife, and crime rates are skyrocketing.
Although the city does not publish crime data, the Southern Metropolitan News, one of the most reputable Chinese newspapers, reported that there were 18,000 robberies in 2004 in Baoan. Baoan is just ONE of six districts in Shenzhen. By comparison, in Shanghai, a city of around 18 million, there were only 2,182 reported robberies for all of 2004".

Posts: 249Go Shopping or to the Park ?
Ain't it the bloody truth ! "Let's go shopping". Damn that's why "let's go to the park and hold hands walking by the lake" wasn't working for me.
Santa, dude, you crack me up sometimes. Catch up with you soon for a barney!

Posts: 48Things were normal tonight in the Nanshan BBS area. All the lights were on and all the girls were out (even if they were bundled up a bit). OK, maybe it was a little cold, but my very nice gal gave me a hot water bottle to make sure I was shufu. As has been mentioned before this is a much smaller area compared to Seibu (maybe 5 or 6 shops and I probably saw around ten girls in each shop). No nines, but plenty of sixes and sevens. Also I didn't see any other laowai there, so if you're looking to party like the locals then this might be an option.
I'm still really enjoying the FS massage at Haopengyou, near Coastal City. It isn't CP, but it's not bad for SZ. The other day I was having my usual 2 hour Thai massage (138RMB) which turned into FS for an extra 300. After a great session she started the massage again, but I could tell she was tired. I told her to rest a bit and we ended up having a great GF cuddle session. This to me makes it worth the extra money, and I love that my stuff is all locked away in the shower room for safety and security.
Can anyone comment on the saunas in Shekou these days? I would love to find some variety, but I'm concerned because there is such a high foreigner population there that I worry the service will be flat.
Besides, this gives us something to talk about instead of just constantly speculating about how OWLs mate. (Who Who?)

Moody, SEAJ, CPE......
You guys contribute so much to this thread why do you let OWL get under your skin? OWL is a mental midget and adds absolutely nothing to the forum. He make the village idiot look good.
Put the stupid fuck in your ignore list like I did and get on with helping all the other clueless yet worthy mongers get laid at the best possible price in safety and comfort.
Don't get down to OWL's level, you are so much better than that and every one here knows that. Did you see the "outpouring" of support to my post asking for all who thought OWL was substantial? Zero, natta, zilch. Who TF cares about him?

You have to stop thinking that the Chinese think like westerners. They don't like too much air conditioning because they're not used to it. If you take a mainland girl to Hong Kong in the summer she will complain about how cold all the department stores are. Just like milk and cheese, they haven't acquired a taste for it. In the winter it will be all you can do to keep her from opening all the windows, as she says "we need fresh air". "Yes, but I'm freezing" you will reply as your lips turn blue.
And finally I absolutely agree that we're seeing an increased amount of LE this year with CNY fast approaching (Chun Jie dao le) and the Olympics. Remember that in China it is not unusual for things to crack down, suppliers to have quality problems, etc. ahead of CNY as a reminder to give the gift of graft. It makes you realize how important these people are, and makes giving them a little extra "under the table" money worthwhile. Yes, LuoHu has been under a crackdown for counterfeit goods, with I understand approx. 30% of the fake goods shops shut down and some prison. But yesterday I took a friend there and had no trouble visiting my favorite shop while my friend loaded up on LV, Coach, Rolex etc. (Seriously, how much fake crap can one person stand?). The only difference I see is that instead of bringing it to the shops they take their trusted customers to the "warehouse", if you can call it that.
OWL, we're all glad you enjoy coming to our city and mongering. I believe the thing the more experienced members here are saying (and let me add that I am definately not an experienced monger in SZ although I'm trying) is that it would be best to leave much of this advice to people with more knowledge of the local scene.

Are you guys suffering from Hooker burn-out?
I mean - all this talk about hooker orgasm, GFE,
chinese divorce etc - coupled with the very much reduced action available these days before CNY!
Past couple or so months have been quite a trip for me with multiple (err.... very multiple!) encounters, situations, gals, positions, experiences etc - but even for me - one who's had a relatively short history of "pure and pure hookering" I'm already feeling a bit..... bored. I mean, how many different faces do I have to have sucking me, how many different positions, how many new and exciting nubile bodies do I ahve to have?
I've also chatted with a few other true blue mongers past week-end - and I detect that even these guys are getting burned-out. One guy wants to go to Kunming to instead do the tourist thing, one would rather go riding and bouncing around all over the place instead of goling on the hunt, One wants to start a free/cheap English corner just to relieve his boredom, one was working - and working hard - on a hard to get freebie - and worse - a couple even wants to go back "home" much earlier than originally planned!
Or am I just an old softy who needs "just that little bit more" in relationships?
